Abstract

Translator   Translator   Translator   This study examines the impact of persuasive communication, discounts, and consumer trust on purchasing decisions during live-streaming sessions on Shopee, specifically focusing on the Sivali Factory account. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method, using questionnaires distributed to respondents who purchased products from Sivali Factory via Shopee live streaming. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. Findings reveal that discounts and consumer trust significantly influence purchasing decisions, while persuasive communication does not have a significant effect. The study concludes that effective discount strategies and fostering consumer trust are crucial for enhancing purchasing decisions during live-streaming sessions. It is recommended that e-commerce businesses prioritise these factors to boost sales and consumer engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the preferences of homemakers when choosing the type of melon gas cylinder using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The problem addressed is determining the factors that most influence homemakers' decisions in choosing between subsidized and non-subsidized gas. This research employs a quantitative method with AHP to analyze homemakers' preferences when selecting melon gas cylinders. AHP breaks down complex problems into a simple hierarchical structure, facilitating priority determination. The study involves homemakers chosen through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires covering relevant criteria and sub-criteria, using a Likert scale to measure the importance of each criterion. The research results based on dynamic sensitivity analysis show that price is the most important factor, followed by ease of use. This study provides a clear picture of the relative weights of various criteria and alternatives when choosing melon gas cylinders. The study's conclusion indicates that homemakers prefer subsidized gas over non-subsidized gas.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of gameful experiences on brand loyalty in language learning applications mediated by customer brand engagement. With the increasing incorporation of gamification in educational tools, understanding how specific game mechanics drive user engagement and brand loyalty in language learning apps is crucial. While existing gamification research generally focuses on broader fields, this study uniquely investigates how specific gameful experiences—such as enjoyment, creative thinking, and domination—affect brand loyalty in the context of language learning applications. Data were collected from 250 active users in Indonesia using an online survey with a Likert scale of 1-5, employing purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26 assessed validity, reliability, and relationships among variables. The results indicate that gameful experiences significantly enhance customer brand engagement, which, in turn, positively influences brand loyalty. This study contributes new insights into how gamification affects brand loyalty, specifically in the language learning app domain, providing practical recommendations for developers to incorporate effective game mechanics to enhance customer brand engagement and foster long-term brand loyalty.

Abstract

Financial literacy encompasses objective knowledge, personal skills, and individual expertise in managing and making personal financial decisions. With the increasing complexity of financial instruments, numerous studies indicate that individuals often lack adequate information and understanding of fundamental financial principles. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial technology, risk perception, and locus of control on investment decisions, with education level as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative methodology and purposive sampling method, this study finds that a better understanding of financial literacy, effective use of fintech, appropriate risk perception, and a strong internal locus of control can lead to improved investment decisions. The findings highlight that enhanced financial education and the integration of financial technology are crucial for supporting more effective investment choices, thereby expanding the community’s investment knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Government institutions such as the Office of the Ministry of Religion must be able to serve the community, especially in the field of religion. The success of this government institution cannot be separated from the role of its employees, namely employee performance. This research was conducted to demonstrate the effects of motivation, work stress and organisational culture on performance of workers at Rembang Regency's Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. In this study, 55 employees of the Rembang Religious Office were involved. Sample: This study used a saturated sample, totalling 55 respondents. To analyze the data, multiple linear regression analysis was employed. The study has findings: the motivation variable has an insignificant influence on employee performance; the work stress variable has an insignificant influence on employee performance; and the organisational culture variable has a significant influence on employee performance. The determination of variability in the dependent variable, employee performance, can be partially explained by the independent variables, namely motivation, job stress, and organisational culture. Additional independent variables that are not explained in this study, account for 53.8%. These results suggest that the performance of the employees is quite good, but needs to be improved. This finding is expected to be a consideration for related parties in organising internal management so that it can attain the goals that are set.

Abstract

The success of a business enterprise cannot be separated from the role of employees. Employee welfare needs to be maintained to achieve company goals, namely the quality of the work of the employees themselves. The reason for conducting this study is to find out how compensation, work stress, and motivation have an impact on the performance of employees of PT Bintang Karya Laut Rembang. This study involved 194 employees of PT Bintang Karya Laut Rembang. The sample selection technique used proportional random sampling. This study activity used 70 respondents as samples, which were obtained using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression analysis. From this study, it was found that the compensation variable had a partial positive effect on the performance of employees of PT Bintang Karya Laut Rembang, the work motivation variable had a partial positive effect, and the work stress variable had a partial negative effect. Findings from the determination test show that compensation, work motivation, and work stress variables can contribute 83.5% of employee performance, while the remaining 16.5% is a factor not analyzed in this study.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on reducing the number of tourists, resulting in a decline in the performance of the tourism sector, including travel agents. In an effort to accelerate the recovery of the tourism sector, the Indonesian Government has released a stimulus package program for people who receive the complete COVID-19 vaccine which is distributed through travel agents. This stimulus program is a trial phase in tourist destinations in the Riau Islands, Jakarta and its surroundings, Borobudur and its surroundings, and Bali. This research aims to analyze the impact of the tourism package stimulus on vaccine recipient communities from the travel agent's perspective. The research data is primary data from the results of filling out a questionnaire which was analyzed using the conjoint analysis method and Pearson's R and Kendall's Tau analysis tests on travel agents who took part in this stimulus program. The results of research on travel agents show that their guests are willing to buy tourism stimulus packages because of the 4 star hotel facilities, family restaurant, spa body treatment, mini bus, complete destinations (natural, cultural, and man-made), and there is a souvenir shop that sells food. and souvenirs, thus the stimulus impacted these businesses only.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Work Environment as an intervening variable of Compensation and Work Facilities for Job Satisfaction at PT. Telkom Aksess Balikpapan. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The object of the research is the employee of PT. Telkom Aksess Balikpapan with a sample of 59 employees. Data collection was carried out through the dissemination of questionnaires The results of the study showed that the Compensation has a significant effect on the Work Environment, Work Facilities also have a significant influence on the Work Environment, a good Work Environment contributes significantly to Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a direct influence that is not significant on Job Satisfaction, Work Facilities also have a direct influence on job satisfaction, Work Environment was able to function as a full mediator in Compensation for Job Satisfaction, as well as as serve as a partial mediator in Work Facilities for Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is conducted to examine the relationship between family influence, HR Practices, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Data is collected through questionnaire, which is distributed to 100 non-family employees from 50 family SMEs in Universitas Ciputra (UC) Family Business Community. Two non-family employees are taken from each family SMEs as the representative of population. Samples are determined purposively with the criteria of non-family employees that work at least three years in family SMEs that owns 1-19 employees (small scale) or 20-99 employees (medium scale). Data is analysed using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS version of 3.2.8 to know the direct and indirect effect of independent variable towards dependent variables. Independent variable is family influence that holds the power, experience, and culture aspect (F-PEC). Dependent variables refer to HR Practices, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Mediating roles of HR Practices and job satisfaction are also examined in this research. The path analysis results to the acceptance that family influence affects HR Practices (sig. value = 0.000), HR Practices affect job satisfaction (sig. value = 0.000), HR Practices affect organizational commitment (sig. value = 0.000), and job satisfaction affects organizational commitment (sig. value = 0.000). There are also confirmation on mediating roles of HR Practices between family influence and job satisfaction (sig.value = 0.000), mediating roles of HR Practices between family influence and organizational commitment (sig. value = 0.001), and mediating roles of job satisfaction between HR Practices and organizational commitment (sig. value = 0.001). All of hypotheses are accepted and inclined to be an accepted synthesized research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and ease of use on repurchase intention through consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable on Lazada application users in Kudus Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method,The sample used in this study was 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study state that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, ease of use has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, ease of use has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, consurmer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention
