Abstract

Good financial governance capacity is one of the main pillars for the sustainability of community-based organizations, including Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis). Unfortunately, in many tourist villages, financial management still faces various challenges, such as limited administrative knowledge, lack of technical skills in record-keeping, and the absence of standardized reporting formats. This community service program was carried out in Cokro Village, Klaten Regency, with the aim of improving the competence of Pokdarwis Tjakrawala administrators in managing finances and preparing activity reports in a systematic, transparent, and accountable manner. The implementation method was designed in a participatory manner through a combination of material delivery, group discussions, hands-on practice (learning by doing), case simulations, local context-based financial record-keeping simulations, and practice in preparing activity reports. The participants consisted of core administrators and active members of Pokdarwis. The evaluation was conducted by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test, as well as assessing the activity report products produced by the participants. The results showed a significant increase in the average score of participants’ understanding, from 54.2 in the pre-test to 86.5 in the post-test, or an increase of 59.6%. A total of 87% of participants successfully prepared activity reports according to standardized formats, with a high level of completeness and accuracy. In addition, participants also demonstrated increased confidence in applying new skills in their work environment. These findings indicate that hands-on training combined with relevant case studies can improve financial management skills and strengthen institutional governance.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in strengthening economic independence and optimizing local village potential. However, in various regions, including Cokro Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency, several BUMDes have experienced institutional stagnation, resulting in the suboptimal functioning of their organizations. One such example is BUMDes Tirta Kencana, which had been inactive due to weak organizational structure and management. This community service activity aimed to reactivate the BUMDes through an institutional strengthening strategy based on reorganization and organizational structure arrangement. The implementation methods included problem identification, community socialization and forums, managerial training, reorganization deliberations, development of institutional documents, also mentoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out using a participatory-collaborative approach that actively involved the community in every stage. The results showed an increase in community awareness of the importance of village institutions, the formation of a new and more functional organizational structure, the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and annual work plans, as well as an improvement in the managerial capacity of the administrators, as reflected in the increase in average understanding scores from 56.3 to 80.1 (an increase of 42%). These findings confirm that a participatory-collaborative approach is effective in reactivating inactive BUMDes while building community commitment to program sustainability.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is one of the important aspects that need to be instilled from an early age, because children are the next generation who will face ecological challenges in the future. One creative approach that can be used is ecoprint training, which is a technique of printing patterns on fabrics by utilizing natural leaves, flowers, and plants around the environment. This study aims to see how ecoprint training can increase creativity while fostering environmental awareness in children in Solodengeun Village, Panimbang Jaya Village. The method used is qualitative descriptive with stages of activities in the form of preparation, socialization, demonstration, direct practice, and evaluation. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and brief interviews with participants. The results of the activity showed that the children followed each stage with great enthusiasm. They are not only able to produce unique works of art from natural materials, but also understand the important value of taking care of the environment through the wise use of resources. This activity has been proven to foster curiosity, improve motor skills, train creativity, and instill ecological values in a fun way. Overall, ecoprint training has proven to be effective as a holistic learning medium that combines art, creativity, and environmental education. This program not only provides a memorable learning experience, but also forms an eco-friendly character from an early age. Thus, ecoprints deserve to be developed more widely in schools and communities as an alternative strategy in instilling environmental awareness while honing children's creativity. Abstract

Pasien di setiap rumah sakit termasuk di Rumah Sakit PKU Muhamadiyah Sukoharjo pada umumnya mengalami kecemasan. Oleh karena belum optimalnya upaya mengurangi kecemasan pasien sehingga membutuhkan sebuah langkah konkrit yang dilakukan dari pihak Rumah sakit untuk mampu mewujudkan layanan kesehatan yang memusatkan pelayanan pada pasien sehingga pasien merasa nyaman, lebih dihargai saat dilakukan proses keperawatan serta mampu mengurangi cemas pada pasien. Salah satu upaya mengurangi kecemasan pasien melalui model pelayanan keperawatan yang tepat, diantaranya adalah dengan menerapkan Patient Centered Care (PCC). Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya tentang PCC dan pengaruhnya dalam mengurangi kecemasan pasien. Metode yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan ceramah penyampaian materi dan diskusi materi. Sasaran kegiatan merupakan bagian manajemen Rumah Sakit, perawat dari IGD, ICU, dan rawat inap. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini peserta mampu mendemonstrasikan pelaksanaan prosedur PCC. Kesimpulannya adalah perawat, dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya di RS PKU Muhamadiyah Sukoharjo mampu mengoptimalkan dan mengimplementasikan serta meningkatkan pengetahuan berkaitan dengan pelayanan berbasis Patient Centered Care (PCC) dalam upaya mengurangi kecemasan pada pasien Keywords: Cemas, pasien, Patient Centered Care

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat di Pondok Pesantren Serambi Qur'an, Depok ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Metode Pengumpulan Kosakata dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris anak-anak menggunakan permainan daring Free Fire. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana menggabungkan teknik pengajaran dengan permainan daring yang disukai dapat menghasilkan pengalaman belajar bahasa Inggris yang lebih menarik dan berhasil, mengingat semakin populernya permainan digital di kalangan pelajar muda. Dua puluh siswa, usia 8 hingga 13 tahun, berpartisipasi dalam observasi, wawancara, dan penilaian sebagai bagian dari metodologi deskriptif kualitatif di dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini. ANak-anak di pesantren ini didorong untuk mengenali, mengumpulkan, dan menggunakan kata-kata bahasa Inggris baru yang mereka temukan saat bermain game dengan menggunakan Metode Pengumpulan Kosakata. Penggunaan kosakata, kepercayaan diri dalam percakapan, dan pengucapan peserta semuanya meningkat secara signifikan selama program delapan minggu. Hasilnya menyiratkan bahwa mengintegrasikan latihan kosakata terstruktur dengan lingkungan permainan digital tidak hanya menginspirasi siswa tetapi juga membantu menghubungkan waktu luang informal dan pembelajaran bahasa formal

Abstract

Breastfeeding is a natural process that is not easy. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage is not free from problems that arise during the breastfeeding process, including the misconception that breast milk production is low or insufficient for the baby's needs. This condition is caused by several factors, including the mother's food and drink intake, the mother's psychological or emotional state, and abnormal breast shape. Group therapies to reduce depression include psychoeducational groups, support groups, and self-help groups. The objective was to determine the increase in knowledge through group therapy among breastfeeding mothers in RW 12 Wonorejo, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar. The method used emphasized material on increasing knowledge through group therapy. The results showed that breastfeeding mothers in RW 12 improved their understanding of group therapy and gained more experience with problems encountered by breastfeeding mothers. There was a 0.31% increase in knowledge through group therapy. Keywords: Knowledge, breastfeeding, breast milk, postpartum mothers

Abstract

Roti Bakar Nax is one of the Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jayapura City. It is owned and run by a group of young Nabire residents who are passionate about business. They began operating this business with very little money, using funds from the town and having very little experience with entrepreneurship. The purpose of this community service project was to assist business actors in boosting the economy. One method is to sell business items using information technology, process business permits to ensure legal protection for a company, and optimize product packaging design to improve a company's reputation and draw in clients. The growth of Roti Bakar Nax in Jayapura City has benefited from this scheme. Effective financial bookkeeping and sales reporting using an information system, brand identity and storytelling strategies, product packaging design optimization, business permits, and digital marketing-based promotional strategies through creative video content on Instagram and TikTok were all areas where business owners showed improved comprehension
