Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in developing students' cognitive abilities and character. However, PAI learning is often dominated by lectures, as the content is mostly theoretical and normative. This lack of varied learning media has led to low student engagement. The demand for technological integration requires PAI teachers to utilize technology in their teaching, but many are not equipped to create interactive learning media. This study aims to develop PAI learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 and to assess students' motivation in using this media. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) method, following Borg & Gall's 10-step model. It was conducted in six high schools in East Kalimantan. Preliminary field testing, involving 30 students, showed the following results: for media, 20.24% rated it very good, 41.67% good, 34.52% adequate, and 3.57% poor; for material, 22.50% rated it very good, 40.83% good, 35.42% adequate, and 1.25% poor; for learning, 28.79% rated it very good, 46.21% good, 23.11% adequate, and 1.89% poor. Similar positive results were found in further field testing. The analysis of learning outcomes using SPSS indicated a significant difference before and after using the media, with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. This shows that interactive multimedia enhances students' learning performance.

Abstract

An effective school is built upon the presence of well-performing human resources, including administrative employees who play a strategic role in the school's progress. School culture is one of the key factors influencing the performance of administrative employees. This study aims to determine the relationship between school culture change management and administrative performance among staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach, specifically a correlational method. Data was collected through questionnaire distribution. The data was then analyzed using various techniques, including instrument tests, partial indicator analysis, prerequisite tests (normality and linearity tests), correlation tests, and the coefficient of determination test. The results indicate that school culture change management is significantly correlated with administrative performance, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.770, which indicates a strong positive relationship, as it falls within the 0.61 - 0.80 category. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R-square) is 0.592, which means that 59.2% of the variation in administrative performance can be explained by the management of school culture change

Abstract

The establishment of online Islamic religious e-learning with a focus on religious moderation in educational institutions is an endeavor aimed at broadening the availability of well-rounded and balanced Islamic religious education through digital learning platforms. This research aimed to create an e-learning system that specifically emphasizes the principles of religious moderation within schools. The research adopted a developmental approach (R&D), by utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). After conducting an analysis, the e-learning system was designed and developed using cutting-edge technology that enables active student interaction and engagement. Subsequently, the e-learning system was introduced as a pilot project in the school setting. Students and teachers actively participated in utilizing this system to access Islamic religious content that was customized to their individual needs and comprehension level. Throughout the implementation phase, an assessment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the e-learning system in enhancing comprehension of the Islamic faith and fostering a moderate religious mindset. The findings of this research demonstrated a significant demand for Islamic religious education focused on religious moderation. There was a pressing need for the development of efficient learning tools to facilitate successful comprehension of Islamic Studies materials, particularly among junior high school students. This conclusion is supported by the analysis of data using the Wilcoxon test, which yielded a t-value of -4.878 and a p-value of 0.00, indicating statistical significance (p < 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of waqf in the field of education in Indonesia and Thailand from the perspective of Islamic law. Waqf, as a socio-economic instrument in Islam, has played an important role in the development of the education sector in various countries. This research discusses how waqf is used to fund educational institutions, both in the form of land, buildings, and endowment funds, as well as the challenges and opportunities that arise in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach, this study compares the practice of educational waqf in Indonesia and Thailand, two countries with significant Muslim populations but with different education systems. The results of the study show that although the two countries have great potential to optimize waqf in the education sector, there are some differences in its management and utilization, which are influenced by local legal, regulatory, and cultural factors. This research also identifies the important role of religious institutions and the government in supporting the sustainability of educational waqf. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of regulatory reform and increasing public understanding of waqf to maximize its impact in improving access and quality of education in both countries.
