Abstract

This study aims to analyze the creativity of teachers in learning SBDP (Arts, Culture and Crafts) at SDN 24 Palu. This study uses a type of qualitative research using observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The result of this study is that grade V teachers of SDN 24 Palu from five indicators of teacher creativity, namely developing interesting and diverse activities, making learning aids, utilizing the environment, managing classrooms and learning resources and implementing learning processes and outcomes, including teachers in grade V of SDN 24 Palu meet the four indicators of teacher creativity. One of the indicators that is not achieved is utilizing the environment because teachers only do learning in the classroom and do not utilize learning resources from around the school or other environments. The cause of the non-implementation of these indicators in SBdP learning in this school is due to inadequate environmental conditions or school yards or it can be said that the school yard is not spacious so that if you want to do outdoor activities, the students' movement space is limited. So it can be concluded that grade V teachers of SDN 24 Palu are included in the Good category and show indicators of teacher creativity in SBdP learning.

Abstract

Language serves as a fundamental cornerstone in early childhood development, enabling children to communicate their needs, emotions, and ideas spontaneously without external coercion. This study is driven by concerns regarding delayed expressive language development in young children who experience difficulties with attention, which may impede their interactive communication abilities. The primary objective of this research is to enhance the expressive language skills of a 6-year-old child through targeted interventions involving eye contact and imitation. The method used was experimental quantitative research with a Single Subject Research (A-B) design, in which expressive language development data were collected through observation and documentation referring to the Standard screening guide for Child Development Achievement Levels and Stimulation of Early Detection and Intervention of Growth and Development to evaluate the subject's language development, then analyzed descriptively simple and presented in graphical form. The findings indicate a significant improvement in expressive language development, with the percentage increasing from 31% to 74% following the implementation of the intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of eye contact and imitation interventions is effective in enhancing expressive language skills in 6-year-old children experiencing difficulties with attention.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low use of technology-based interactive media in Pancasila Education at elementary schools, especially in Cluster 1 of Lubuk Suhuing District. The media used is still limited to images and internet videos, and the use of Canva is not optimal. This study aims to develop interactive media using Canva based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model that is valid, practical, and effective. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model from Thiagarajan, including Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Trial subjects involved material experts, media experts, language experts, two teachers, and fifth grade students from two schools. Instruments used were validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed the media developed obtained a validity score of 86% from material experts, 85% from teachers, and 90% from students, categorized as "Very Valid". Practicality scores reached 96.8% from teachers and 95.1% from students. The media was declared effective based on learning outcomes, with 100% of students achieving mastery in both trial schools. Thus, this Canva-based PBL interactive media is suitable for improving the effectiveness and quality of Pancasila Education learning.

Abstract

This article discusses the factors that cause injuries to soccer players through a literature review based on secondary data from various indexed journals. In general, the causes of injuries can be divided into external and internal factors. External factors include sports equipment (shoes, balls) and non-ideal field conditions, such as uneven, slippery, or muddy surfaces. Meanwhile, internal factors include body anatomy (such as leg length imbalance or foot deformity), technical errors (such as incorrect shooting techniques), decreased muscle strength, low fitness, and overuse injuries. Injuries most often occur in the ankle, either due to physical contact or non-contact. Physical condition factors such as power, speed, flexibility, and agility, as well as mastery of shooting techniques, have a significant correlation with the risk of injury. With this understanding, it is hoped that athletes can minimize injuries through more thorough preparation.

Abstract

This study investigates the interactions between intended, translated and achieved curricula in colleges of education in Lagos State, Nigeria. Employing a descriptive survey research design, the study collected data from a sample of 180 randomly selected science students across three purposively chosen tertiary institutions within the state. The Intended, Translated, and Achieved Curriculum and Student Academic Achievement Questionnaire (ITACSAAQ) was developed to gather insights into students’ perceptions regarding the curricula's impact on their performance. The questionnaire comprised demographic information and items rated on a 4-point Likert scale. Validation by experts in curriculum studies ensured the instrument's reliability, yielding a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.73. Data analysis involved mean, standard deviation and analysis of variance. Findings revealed statistical significant impact of intended curriculum and the implemented curriculum F(13, 15) = 2.44, p>0.02), however, no statistical significant impact of translated curriculum on achieved F(13, 15) = 1.11; p >0.05. The study concludes that this type of comprehensive approach is crucial for fostering meaningful academic achievement and ensuring the effectiveness of science education in Nigeria. The study recommends that educational stakeholders should ensure that the intended curriculum is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current academic, societal, and industry demands.

Abstract

This article explores the dynamics of Islamic education politics in the context of globalization, focusing on curriculum development in the Education Study Program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Using literature review and descriptive analysis, the study reveals that globalization demands higher education curricula, especially at UIN Raden Fatah, to integrate both global and national standards, such as the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and National Higher Education Standards. The curriculum must equip students with scientific and technological skills while preserving Islamic values and local wisdom, such as Malay culture. The main challenge is balancing adaptation to global demands with the preservation of Islamic identity, amidst concerns that globalization may erode local values. In conclusion, curriculum development at UIN Raden Fatah should be adaptive and inclusive to produce globally competent graduates who retain their Islamic character and local cultural identity.
