Abstract

Based on the results of the 2018 Basic Health Research, the prevalence of adolescents aged 15 years who have central obesity is 31.0%. Obesity occurs due to the income of certain population groups, and eating habits that have begun to shift to disproportionate foods such as low carbohydrate, high fat and low fiber foods, as well as less physical activity caused by busyness and screen time. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between screen time, junk food eating habits and physical activity with obesity in teenagers at MAN 14 East Jakarta. The research was conducted in May 2023 at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 14 East Jakarta with a sample size of 57 respondents aged 16 - 17 years. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. This research uses quantitative research methods with a cross sectional design. Data were collected using a screen time questionnaire, for junk food eating habits using the FFQ and physical activity using the physical activity level (PAL), then the data was analyzed using the chisquare test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between screen time (p= 0.000), junk food eating habits (p= 0.000), and physical activity (p= 0.032) with the incidence of obesity in adolescents. Abstract

Ibu hamil merupakan golongan rawan kekurangan gizi karena pada saat hamil terjadi peningkatan asupan seiring bertambahnya kebutuhan pada ibu dan janin. Salah satu masalah gizi yang sering ditemukan pada ibu hamil ialah memiliki kadar hemoglobin yang rendah. Tablet tambah darah atau zat besi yang diberikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sirkulasi darah dan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil sehingga dapat mencegah ataupun mengobati anemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan konsumsi tablet tambah darah dan penambahan berat badan dengan status gizi ibu hamil. Penelitian ini menggunakan cross-sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli-September 2023 di Puskesmas Duri Kota. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil trimester II dan III. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling sebanyak 40 ibu hamil. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara kuesioner serta pengukuran antropometri dan kadar hemoglobin. Analisis data bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsumsi tablet tambah darah (p-value = <0,001) dan penambahan berat badan (p-value = <0,001) dengan kadar hemoglobin. Sebanyak 42,5% ibu hamil yang tidak memenuhi konsumsi tablet tambah darah memiliki kadar hemoglobin tidak normal dan sebanyak 40% ibu hamil yang memiliki penambahan berat badan tidak sesuai memiliki kadar hemoglobin tidak normal. Perlu bagi ibu hamil untuk memperhatikan asupan dan ketaatan untuk mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah.

Abstract

It is estimated that around 1/3 of the world's population suffers from anemia, therefore it is appropriate that education regarding anemia be provided by utilizing technology such as media.ispiring suite 9 which can be used as a new educational medium to provide knowledge about anemia. This research aims to: (1) Produce mediaispring suite 9; (2) Know the qualifications of the mediaispring Suite 9 about anemia with the help of media experts, material experts and instrument experts; (3) Knowing the level of knowledge of young women after using mediaispring suite 9. The sampling technique is carried out usingproportional sampling, with a total sample of 68 grade 11 female students at SMAN 11 Medan. The research design in making media isResearch and Development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design. Knowledge data collection techniques use quizizz-based tests, material experts, media experts, and test experts. Based on the research results, the average media feasibility value according to media experts in the first stage was 74.5%, including the feasible category, and the value in the second stage was 95.5% in the very feasible category. The average value of material feasibility according to material experts in the first stage was 73% in the feasible category and the score in the second stage was 94.5% in the very feasible category. The pretest and posttest scores to measure the increase in knowledge resulted in a gain score of 0.72 in the high category. So it can be concluded that the Ispring Suite media can be used by students in learning about anemia in young women.Keywords : Anemia, Ispring Suite 9 Media, ADDIE Model, Knowledge

Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) merupakan penyakit penurunan fungsi ginjal yang bersifat progresif dan tidak dapat kembali. Hemodialisa merupakan salah satu terapi pengganti ginjal untuk penderita GGK. Perubahan pola hidup akan terjadi pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa salah satunya pengaturan dietnya. Diet merupakan pengendalian makan sebagai upaya mencegah ketidakseimbangan cairan dan elektrolit dan menghindari kenaikan residu metabolisme protein. Faktor keberhasilan kepatuhan diet salah satunya adalah dukungan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan penelitian Cross Sectional, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RS USU. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa di RS USU sebanyak 62 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang. Instrumen data yang digunakan untuk dukungan keluarga adalah kuesioner dan untuk kepatuhan diet adalah food recall 2x24 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa di RS USU dengan nilai p-value 0,049 (p<0,05) artinya semakin baik dukungan keluarga maka semakin patuh pasien dengan kepatuhan diet.Kata Kunci: Gagal Ginjal Kronik, Kepatuhan Diet, Dukungan Keluarga

Abstract

Adolescents are one of the age groups that are vulnerable to experiencing nutritional problems because they can determine their own lifestyle. Apart from diet, clean and healthy behavior is one of the indirect causes that influences nutritional status. Knowledge about clean and healthy living that teenagers have can determine their clean and healthy behavior attitudes and practices. Low clean and healthy behavior can be a risk factor for infectious diseases which can reduce nutritional status. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes and practices of clean and healthy behavior and the nutritional status of adolescents. This research uses a cross-sectional study. The research was conducted in June-November 2023 at Al-Washliyah 1 Private High School, Medan City and Bandung Foundation High School, Deli Serdang Regency. The selection of research locations was carried out using purposive sampling. The research population was students in grades X to XII aged 14-18 years in both schools. The sampling technique used cluster sampling, the total subjects were 100 students from each school. Data was collected through questionnaire interviews in the form of characteristics, knowledge, attitudes and practices of clean and healthy behavior. Nutritional status data was obtained by directly measuring body weight using a digital scale and height using a microtoise and then determined using a z-score from the body mass index according to age (BMI/U). Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman Test. As many as 31% of teenagers have abnormal nutritional status (undernutrition, overnutrition and obesity). The bivariate test results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.005), attitudes (p=0.001), and practice (p=0.000) of clean and healthy behavior and adolescent nutritional status. As many as 65.5% of teenagers with low clean and healthy behavior attitudes have abnormal nutritional status. Adolescents need to pay attention to clean and healthy behavior in their daily lives to help obtain good nutritional status.Keywords—Knowledge, Clean and Healthy Behavior, Adolescents, Nutritional Status

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit yang terjadi akibat gangguan metabolisme sehingga kadar gula darah diatas normal. Konsumsi pangan fungsional dapat mencegah terjadinya gangguan kesehatan seperti diabetes mellitus, karena pangan fungsional mengandung senyawa antioksidan yang baik bagi tubuh. Bubur instan berbahan dasar beras pratanak dan tepung mocaf yang difortifikasi bayam merah dapat menjadi pangan fungsional yang sangat baik untuk kesehatan. Pembuatan bubur instan dilakukan dengan 5 formulasi perlakuan perbandingan beras pratanak dan tepung mocaf serta 3 perlakuan fortifikasi bayam merah. Pengujian terhadap karakteristik fisik dan kandungan antioksidan diperlukan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan bubur instan sebagai pangan fungsional. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian fisik, bubur instan dengan perlakuan perlakuan T4K2  yaitu bubur instan dengan perbandingan tepung beras pratanak dengan tepung mocaf 70% : 30% dengan penambahan tepung bayam merah 2% merupakan bubur instan dengan perlakuan terbaik dan memiliki nilai aktivitas antioksidan 73,2764 μg/ml yang berarti termasuk ke dalam antioksidan kuat.

Abstract

Dragon fruit is cultivated in Indonesia and has a high vitamin C content.The consumption of dragon fruit is still lacking and the use into processed food products is still limited.The objective of this study was to analyze of vitamin C content, sensory quality, and level of preference of dragon fruit ice cream.This is experimental research with a Completely Randomized Design. The addition of dragon fruit, in formula P1 as much as 350 g, formula P2 400 g, formula P3 450 g, formula P4 500 g.The data were processed and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the organoleptic test, it was obtained that P1 formula was the most chosen with a very distinctive aroma and very soft texture, P3 formula was the most chosen with a sweet taste, and P2 formula was the most chosen with a purple color. The results of the dragon fruit ice cream preference test showed that the majority of panelists liked the aroma, taste, texture of P3 formula, and the color of P4 formula. Dragon fruit ice cream has a vitamin C content of 33.7-47.8 mg/100. It can be conclude that the majority of the panelists liked the aroma, taste, texture of the P3 formula, and the color of the P4 formula. Dragon fruit ice cream contained Vitamin C met the standard consumption requirement/day (30-60 mg/day). Abstract

Adolescence, especially Junior High School (SMP) age, is the early age of adolescents experiencing puberty for women which is marked by menstruation, often pain is felt when that period occurs, many factors influence this pain, one of which is nutrient intake and calcium. This study aims to determine the relationship between menarche age, nutritional status, calcium, and iron intake with the incidence of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain) at SMPN 1 Pabuaran. The research design used is a correlation descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The research results obtained using the Spearman Rank test showed that the relationship between age and the incidence of dysmenorrhea had a p-value of 0.789> 0.05, so the result was that there was no relationship between age and the incidence of dysmenorrhea, then the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of dysmenorrhea obtained a p-value of 0.806> 0.05 means there is no relationship, then the relationship between calcium and the incidence of dysmenorrhea obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, where the result is a relationship between iron intake with dysmenorrhea. From the results of the study it was found that there was no relationship between age and nutritional status and from the calcium and iron variables there was a relationship with a p-value <0.05.Keywords: Age of menarche, nutritional status, iron, calcium, dysmenorrhea, young women, menstrual pain

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu penyelenggaraan makanan rumah sakit sering dikaitkan dengan sisa makanan yang dikonsumsi pasien. Sisa makanan ≥20% menunjukkan kurangnya keberhasilan penyelenggaraan makanan. Sisa makanan di Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi banyak ditemukan pada makanan lunak. Diet makanan lunak diberikan kepada pasien setelah operasi ataupun pasien yang sulit menelan. Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sisa makanan di rumah sakit yaitu persepsi makan (aroma makanan, penampilan makanan, suhu makanan, tekstur makanan, rasa makanan, dan variasi menu). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepri daya terima pasien makanan lunak dengan sisa makanan di Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional menggunakan Chi Square. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu pasien rawat inap yang mendapatkan diet makanan lunak di Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi sebanyak 18 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasien (77.8%) menyisakan makan >20% pada waktu makan malam. Jenis makanan yang banyak disisakan pada malam hari adalah lauk hewani sebesar 35% sedangkan buah tidak ditemukan sisa.  Dari 77.8% pasien yang menyisakan makanan diperoleh daya terima baik sebesar 50% dan cukup 50%, sehingga tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan daya terima pasien makanan lunak dengan sisa makanan.

Abstract

Market traders are a group of workers who are prone to nutritional problems. Breakfast (breakfast) provides energy used for the first hour of activity including work. Nutrient intake is something that will affect their nutritional status. This study aims to analyze the relationship between eating patterns and breakfast habits with the nutritional status of traders in Purwodadi market, Purworejo district. This study used a cross-sectional research design located at Pasar Purwodadi, Purworejo Regency during July 2023. A total of 73 traders were collected for data on eating patterns using semi FFQ questionnaire. While nutritional status data was taken using anthropometric measurements in the form of height and weight. Analysis of the data used is the Spearman Rank correlation test. Most traders have normal nutritional status (58.9%), with breakfast habits in a fairly good category (54.8%) and a fairly good diet (97.3%). Based on the results of the Spearman rank correlation test, a positive and significant relationship was found between breakfast habits and nutritional status with p=0.035 (p<0.05), while traders' diets were not significantly related to nutritional status with p=0.276 (p> 0.05). Breakfast habits, especially in the morning, are related to the nutritional status of traders at the Purwodadi market, Purworejo district.Keywords—Breakfast, Market traders, FFQ
