Abstract

The development of renewable energy-based transportation has become a strategic issue in addressing environmental challenges and energy efficiency in Indonesia’s urban transport sector. This study analyzes the implementation of renewable energy-based transportation systems in major Indonesian cities from the perspective of existing policies and regulations. The analysis covers technical, economic, social, and environmental aspects influenced by government policies and sustainable transportation regulations. The research methodology combines a review of national and regional policies, evaluation of operational data from five major cities (Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and Semarang), and surveys of public transportation users. The results show that policies promoting electric vehicle adoption and supporting infrastructure development have significantly reduced carbon emissions by 85.9%, lowered operational costs by 37.8%, and increased user satisfaction by 42%. Jakarta stands out as the most advanced city in implementation, with 120 electric buses and 15 charging stations contributing to an 85% public transport occupancy rate and 94% service punctuality. Despite strong regulatory commitments, challenges remain in infrastructure standardization and interregional policy coordination, which hinder the broader development of sustainable transportation. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening systematic regulations, increasing infrastructure investment, and developing incentive schemes for the private sector to support the acceleration of the transition toward renewable energy-based transportation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The province of West Kalimantan has an area of 146,807 km² with an individual DMF-T Index of 6.2, meaning that on average its population experiences 6–7 dental health problems such as cavities, teeth extracted due to caries, and previously filled teeth that remain in good condition (West Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, 2017). In Sanggau Regency, based on the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas), 48.43% of the population experienced cavities/toothache, 23.73% had teeth extracted or lost on their own, only 3.0% received dental fillings, and 12.75% had loose teeth. Research by Rusmali et al. (2023) reported the following findings: OHI-s status 15.7%, toothbrushing behavior 15%, and the influence of dental and oral hygiene on age at 21.3%, with significance values of 0.032 < 0.05 and 0.00 < 0.05. This study aimed to describe and analyze the relationship between age and dental and oral health factors among the community in Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau Regency, in 2025, using quantitative and qualitative methods, random sampling, survey sheets and questionnaires, and univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses with Regression and Correlation tests. The results showed that 59.4% of respondents brushed their teeth twice a day, the average dental and oral hygiene status (OHI-s) was moderate at 53.8%, the R value (0.168) approached 1, and R² (0.23) indicated that age accounted for 23% of the variation in dental health factors. The study concluded that the relationship between age and dental health factors was 23%, indicating a strong correlation.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sistem akuntansi modern, terutama di sektor jasa keuangan yang menuntut efisiensi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna akuntabilitas dan kepercayaan stakeholder dalam penerapan sistem akuntansi berbasis AI di perusahaan jasa keuangan Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan paradigma interpretatif, dan desain penelitian bersifat fenomenologis interpretatif, yang berfokus pada pemaknaan pengalaman subjektif para akuntan, auditor, manajer keuangan, serta stakeholder eksternal. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi terbatas, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian mengungkap tiga temuan utama. Pertama, munculnya akuntabilitas algoritmik, yakni bentuk pertanggung jawaban baru yang menuntut sistem AI tetap dapat diaudit, dijelaskan, dan dipertanggung jawabkan secara etis. Kedua, terbentuknya kepercayaan digital (digital trust) yang berakar pada tingkat transparansi dan keterbukaan sistem terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan. Ketiga, adanya rekonstruksi peran manusia dalam tata kelola akuntansi, di mana akuntan berfungsi sebagai penafsir hasil sistem dan penjaga nilai etis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan penerapan AI dalam akuntansi tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kecanggihan teknologi, tetapi juga oleh kemampuan manusia menjaga integritas, etika, dan kepercayaan publik. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperluas konsep akuntabilitas klasik ke arah akuntabilitas hibrid antara manusia dan algoritma; secara praktis, hasilnya menegaskan pentingnya regulasi transparansi algoritmik dan literasi etika digital dalam tata kelola keuangan modern.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reality experienced by young adult women who have faced silent treatment in romantic relationships, with a focus on female students at Langlangbuana University Bandung. Silent treatment is understood as a deliberate withdrawal from communication, often used in response to conflict, and can lead to emotional pressure, confusion, and intrapersonal communication issues. Using a qualitative approach and Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological method, this study explores the subjective meanings behind these experiences. In-depth interviews were conducted with three participants who had been in relationships lasting over a year, which ended due to prolonged silence. The findings reveal that silent treatment results in anxiety, guilt, and diminished self-confidence. Moreover, the intrapersonal responses to such behavior tend to deepen inner conflict and hinder emotional recovery. This phenomenon is particularly significant for young adult women as they navigate identity formation and emotional stability. The study highlights the urgency of emotional communication literacy and safe relational environments to support healthier dynamics. These insights contribute to the development of intrapersonal communication studies and the understanding of strained romantic relationships.

Abstract

This study examines the role of financial awareness as a mediating variable in the relationship between financial literacy and investment interest among students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. A quantitative approach was used with path analysis techniques to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. A sample of 344 students was selected using proportional random sampling from a total population of 31,425 students. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant direct effect on investment interest. Financial awareness also significantly influenced students' investment interest. In addition, financial awareness was proven to play a role as a mediating variable in the relationship between financial literacy and investment interest, as indicated by the Sobel test with a significance value below 0.05. The total contribution of financial literacy and financial awareness in explaining variations in investment interest reached 90.71%. However, this figure needs to be understood carefully so as not to give an exaggerated impression of the model's strength. More than just statistical results, these findings reveal that students with high levels of financial literacy tend to have stronger financial awareness, which simultaneously shapes positive mindsets and attitudes toward investment. This shows that financial understanding not only plays a role as technical knowledge, but also as a psychological and behavioral foundation for wise financial decision-making. The practical implications of these findings emphasize the importance of strengthening financial literacy education programs and increasing financial awareness from an early age, both through academic curricula and external training. These efforts are expected to encourage students to become smart, rational young investors who are prepared to face risks in an informed manner.

Abstract

This research analyzes how local Balinese media frame the narrative surrounding Bali Mandiri Energi following the 2025 blackout that paralyzed the island for more than ten hours. The study applies Robert Entman’s framing theory to examine how two major local news outlets, Radar Bali and Bali Post, constructed meaning and directed public attention toward the government’s energy independence agenda. Using a theoretic descriptive approach, the study identifies key framing devices such as problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation. Findings reveal that both media positioned the blackout not merely as a technical failure, but as a symbolic crisis that exposed Bali’s energy dependency on Java. The discourse of Bali Mandiri Energi was amplified through positive moral framing, portraying the initiative as a collective breakthrough rooted in regional pride and resilience. However, subtle differences appear: Radar Bali emphasized political accountability, while Bali Post foregrounded cultural and environmental narratives. The research concludes that local media framing played a strategic role in transforming a regional crisis into a narrative of innovation and self-reliance.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the development of the Sang Nila Utama Museum in Riau through a Cultural Studies perspective. The primary focus of the study is to analyze the forms, factors, impacts, and meanings of the museum's development. This descriptive qualitative research employed participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis combined deconstruction theory to dismantle the museum's dominant narrative and cultural development theory to understand the museum's role as an agent of cultural transformation.The results indicate that the development includes updating historical narratives, repositioning collections, aesthetic improvements, and the integration of digital technology (virtual tours, interactive media, and QR codes). This development is influenced by both internal factors (limited human resources and funding) and external factors (technological advancements and low public interest). Positive impacts identified include increased visitor interest and the opening of educational spaces, while negative risks include potential commercialization and narrative imbalance. Fundamentally, this development shifts the museum's role from a passive collection space to an inclusive and critical space for discussion and the production of meaning, relevant to the Malay-Riau cultural identity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the principal's role as a supervisor in ensuring the successful implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, which emphasizes independence, creativity, and innovation in the learning process. This study aims to describe in depth the principal's role as an academic supervisor in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at Melati Binjai Private Junior High School. The study used a qualitative approach with field research and descriptive methods. Subjects included the principal, vice principals (curriculum, student affairs, and infrastructure), Islamic Education teachers, and several students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results revealed several specific findings: (1) the principal implemented planned individual and group supervision, primarily through routine coaching, classroom observations, and checking learning administration; (2) the principal acted as a facilitator in encouraging teachers to understand the principles of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, particularly in the development of teaching modules and the implementation of differentiated learning; (3) open communication and a family-like work culture contributed to increased teacher professionalism and the effectiveness of curriculum implementation; (4) Supervision has an impact on increasing teacher readiness in designing innovative and relevant learning that meets student needs. Practically, this study shows that the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum is highly dependent on the quality of consistent and collaborative supervision by the principal. However, this study is limited by its scope, which only covers one school, so the findings cannot be broadly generalized. Future research is recommended to involve more schools with different characteristics or examine digital supervision models to support the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model in elementary education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study is motivated by the need for innovative learning models that can enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and academic achievement in the context of 21st-century education. Data were collected from 86 Scopus-indexed articles published between 2020 and 2024 using the Publish or Perish software, and subsequently screened following the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 35 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using a bibliometric approach with the aid of VOSviewer software. The results reveal that the Flipped Classroom model has a positive impact on improving students’ learning motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding at the elementary school level. The publication trend showed a significant increase in 2021, mainly influenced by the widespread adoption of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia, Malaysia, and Turkey emerged as the top three contributing countries in this research area. However, several challenges remain, including limited technological infrastructure, teachers’ readiness in designing digital learning, and the need for parental support at home. Overall, this study confirms that the Flipped Classroom is an effective instructional strategy to foster 21st-century skills in elementary education. The findings are expected to serve as a valuable reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers in developing innovative learning strategies that align with technological advancements and the characteristics of elementary school learners.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze global trends in segmental phonemes assessment within the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA protocol (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). Initial data were retrieved from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases using the Publish or Perish software, yielding a total of 534 articles with relevant keywords. The screening process followed the four main PRISMA stages resulting in 20 articles that met all inclusion criteria: a focus on segmental phonemes assessment, publication between 2019–2025, and the presence of a clear research methodology. The analysis revealed that approaches to evaluating segmental pronunciation in EFL are grounded in three key theoretical pillars: intelligibility theory, phonological awareness, and technological integration in language learning. The dominant trend observed is the adoption of advanced technologies such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Computer-Assisted Pronunciation Training (CAPT), and AI-based platforms with real-time feedback, all of which have been proven to enhance pronunciation accuracy. Additionally, the findings highlight the importance of pedagogical and technical training for instructors and the limited research on teacher evaluation and cross-cultural influences. These insights provide a foundation for developing adaptive, technology-driven, and socially responsive pronunciation assessment systems that address the needs of diverse global learners in contemporary EFL education.
