Abstract

Traffic congestion is a very important thing for the Denpasar City government to handle at this time. One of the Denpasar city government's efforts to reduce speed is by introducing public transportation to the people of Denpasar City and its surroundings. However, public interest in public transportation is not very high. It is very important to carry out research on people's attitudes and behavior to be able to switch to public transportation. The aim of this research is to determine the role of attitudes in the influence of service quality on the decision of the people of Denpasar City to switch to public transportation. The research method uses path analysis with a sample size of 130 respondents. The research results state that service quality and attitude have a positive influence on the decision to switch to public transportation. This research also states that attitude can partially mediate the influence of service quality on the decision to switch to public transportation. The implication of the research is that the Denpasar city government should be able to improve public transportation services to the community so that it can increase the positive attitude of the community to switch to public transportation.

Abstract

The economic recession due to the Covid-19 pandemic has had a very significant impact on Street Vendors (PKL). This situation has triggered an increase in the economic burden on families, even though the government has provided social assistance. Providing assistance to street vendors is an indication that they have a low level of empowerment. The purpose of this study was to formulate a form of street vendor empowerment program in Jayapura City. The analysis was carried out using the AHP method with the assistance of the ExpertChoice 11 program, involving several related agencies as respondents. The low ability of street vendors in business management is the main obstacle in empowering street vendors. The aspect of training institutions for street vendors that has not been maximized is the main cause of the low ability of street vendors in business management, the low ability of street vendors in innovating, and the products produced by street vendors are relatively uniform. Increasing innovation and business management skills through education and training is an empowerment program that can be carried out for street vendors.

Abstract

Providing welfare for all citizens is the goal of the Indonesian state. In government administration, government officials are often faced with concrete social situations urgently to be addressed, while regulations are unclear. To overcome government stagnation, government officials are given the authority to act based on their own considerations, called discretion. The study aims to analyze the discretionary case and find the relationship between discretion in the perspective of corruption and the theory of criminal removal reason. The study finds that Criminal Code regulates Criminal Removal Reasons concerning defending to save on body, soul, or goods of someone/others, not government officials discretion to defend social interest. The Corruption Law does not regulate Criminal Removal Reason. In judicial corruption in Indonesia, Government officials' discretion was not sentenced because the decision/act is based on considerations of urgency, for the public interest, and does not benefit the government officials/others.

Abstract

The world of badminton has always been one of the most popular sports in the world, especially in Indonesia. Indonesia itself is the most respected country, it can be said that Indonesia is home to world badminton and produces many talented athletes. Badminton sports are a lot of sports and frequent tournaments. One of the supporting factors for badminton development is the existing facilities. Like the field, racket, Shuttlecock, etc. Shuttlecock is a very important part of the game of badminton. Therefore, the shuttlecock must be made with good quality so that it can be used comfortably. This is what PT Intan Makmur Jaya tried to do on the LONDON brand shettlecock which had been marketed in the region. This research aims to develop London shuttlecock products especially for exports. This research is development and marketing research. To carry out export quality and marketing methods, this shuttlecock needs to be developed to be able to compete with other shuttlecock products, especially for exports. Competition for shuttlecock products in Indonesia is quite hard, because there are many shuttlecock products on the market. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the quality of shuttlecock production in order to compete with other shuttlecock products at the international level which have their own quality standards. The right marketing step can bring shuttlecock products to export. Keywords: Development of Shuttlecock London, Exports, product quality

Abstract

The research aims to; Finding the substantive responsibility of ad hoc judges in deciding cases of gross violations of human rights based on the principle of distributive justice according to Aristotle. Find personal arrangements for the procedural responsibilities of ad hoc judges according to the provisions of Indonesian legislation. Evaluating administrative responsibilities through oversight mechanisms conducted on ad hoc human rights judges. Normative juridical methods are used in research. The results of the study that ad hoc judges decide cases of gross violations of human rights do not consider the legal elements of gross violations of human rights.    The evidentiary procedure is weak because ad hoc judges are institutionally independent and personally not because the influence of the chief justice is still there. Bawasmari's internal oversight is inadequate as the judge's disciplinary examination is not transparent. This research aims to 1) Find the substantive responsibilities of ad hoc judges in deciding cases of gross violations of human rights (HAM) based on the principle of distributive justice according to Aristotle. 2) Find the regulation of procedural responsibility of ad hoc judges personally according to the provisions of legislation in Indonesia. 3) Evaluate the admi nistrative responsibility through the supervision mechanism carried out on ad hoc judges, more specifically judges in human rights courts. This research method uses a normative juridical approach or an approach that examines the law as a rule, also called doctrinal legal research, because this research is conducted or aimed at written regulations. The results showed that the responsibility of ad hoc judges in deciding cases of gross violations of human rights should use the elements of the law of gross violations of human rights (HAM) but the fact that it is ruled out means that the judge's decision is considered unfair because it does not comply with existing legal standards, as well as the responsibility of judges in applying the evidentiary system in the legal process is weak. It was also found that the procedures for resolving gross violations of human rights have been implemented, but currently judges are institutionally independent and personally not so, therefore their decisions are certainly not fully independent, because they are influenced by many factors such as the influence of the head of the court or other issues from outside the judge. The internal supervision mechanism by the Supervisory Board of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia is still considered half-hearted because the quality and integrity of supervision is inadequate, as seen in the process of disciplinary examination of judges that is not transparent.

Abstract

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the perceptions of vaccines worldwide. Presently, vaccines are the most efficacious resource that holds the strength to reduce the risk of the disease. In contrast, public health authorities are concerned about vaccine apprehension among the general public. The distribution and consumption of these vaccines began by segregating the age groups. The eligibility of Covaxin vaccines manufactured by Bharat Biotech for children over 12 years of age makes it critical to investigate its credibility among the parents and public views regarding children receiving these vaccines. Moreover, limited information on public acceptability and trustable opinions contribute to vaccine hesitancy among parents. Consequently, the major deciding factors are getting accurate data about the Covaxin’s clinical trial by Bharat Biotech, the persistence and nature of the child's immune response, and reassurance from society. This research study aims to learn more about parents' perspectives and societal attitudes towards immunity building in children by the Covaxin vaccines. The methodology adopted here leads to a precise understanding if there is any ambiguity or acceptance towards Covaxin for children in the minds of the general public. KeywordsBharat Biotech, Children, Clinical Trial, Covaxin, COVID-19, Immunity, Perception.
