Abstract

Mathematics learning aims to make it easier to solve various problems in everyday life, ranging from simple problems to very complex problems. Therefore, all participants are encouraged to enjoy, master and understand mathematics well. To master and understand mathematics well, every student needs a high interest in learning mathematics. There are many ways to arouse students' interest in learning, one of which is by creating a pleasant learning atmosphere. So, the way to arouse students' interest in learning lies in the teacher's ability to design and implement fun learning strategies. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of fun learning on student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Examining how much influence fun learning has when applied to classroom learning. This study employs a quantitative research method. The findings indicate a substantial impact on student learning outcomes. Obtained from the results of research data which shows sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, which means 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the psychological problems experienced by today's students and offer solutions based on Ibn Arabi's Sufism perspective. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, which involves collecting data from various literature, books, journals and other written sources. Descriptive analysis is used to describe and interpret the data collected. The research results show that academic stress, the negative impact of technology and social media, and bullying are some of the main psychological problems experienced by today's students. Ibn Arabi's Sufism perspective offers solutions that can help students overcome these problems. The concept of Sufism emphasizes the importance of a spiritual relationship with Allah, self-purification (tazkiyah an-nafs), and control of desires, which can help students develop emotional balance and inner calm.

Abstract

The novel Mustika Zakar Celeng by Adia Puja was chosen as the object of research. This study focuses on how the marginalization of women as Others in a patriarchal environment and how they resist as a form of existence, as depicted by the characters Nurlela, Lilis Komariah, and Kelanti. The three female protagonists are assertive female characters who struggle to be accepted as equal beings with men who especially have the freedom to reject things that are not in line with their existence. In this study, researchers chose a feminist approach. Because this research has a female perspective, the genre chosen for this research approach is feminism. Simone de Beauvoir's theory became the theoretical basis for this research analysis. According to Simone de Beauvoir, women are just the Other for men in life. Men are subjects and women are objects. According to Beauvoir, existentialism is a state when women are no longer objects but subjects in themselves. Descriptive research methodology with a qualitative approach is used in this research. Critical phenomenology, especially existentialist feminist phenomenology, is the research methodology used in this study to reveal and show the existence of women and the relationship between the subject and object of study. There are three forms of marginalization of female characters as Others in this study, including: 1) stereotyping of women, 2) subordination of women, 3) violence against women. From these forms of marginalization, there are three forms of resistance of female characters as a form of existence, including: 1) working 2) doing intellectual activities in daily life 3) rejecting the internalization of her womanhood through words and actions.

Abstract

This research aims to describe children's creativity at the IT Nurul Ilmi Kindergarten, to determine the process of implementing the arts center learning model in developing children's creativity at the IT Nurul Ilmi Kindergarten, and to identify obstacles to the implementation of the arts center learning model in developing children's creativity at the IT Nurul Ilmi Kindergarten. . This research methodology uses a qualitative approach. This approach is carried out holistically, by explaining phenomena through words and language. The subjects in this research were the principal, center teacher, class teacher and students at the arts center at TK IT Nurul Ilmi. The researcher's data collection process used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research reveal that 1) children's creativity in the arts center has developed quite well in terms of the creativity process and forms of creativity, 2) the process of implementing the arts center learning model in developing children's creativity at the IT Nurul Ilmi Kindergarten is in accordance with the procedures in the learning center, namely by implementing center learning steps, 3) obstacles to implementing the arts center learning model in developing children's creativity at the IT Nurul Ilmi Kindergarten, namely obstacles in planning and implementation, obstacles in eval_uation and assessment, obstacles in making crafts and time constraints.

Abstract

This study is to investigate the impact of social media on students' motivation to learn Geography in phase E at SMAN 1, Guguak District, 50 City District, during the academic year 2023/2024. The research methodology employed in this study is experimental research, as its objective is to investigate the impact of variable X on variable Y. The population under study comprises all students in class X. The sample size for the study is 59 respondents. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak, situated on Jl. Tan Malaka Kubang Tungkek, Guguak District, Limapuluh Kota Regency. The research will be conducted in SMA N 1 Guguak sub-district. Meanwhile, the research will be carried out in May 2024. The research findings indicate that social media has an impact on the motivation of students in phase E geography topics at SMAN 1, Guguak District, 50 City District. Evidently, the research findings indicate that the students in the experimental class, where social media was employed as a learning tool, had greater ratings in the category of learning motivation compared to the control class, which relied on traditional methods such as lectures. In addition, the examination of pretest, posttest, and questionnaire scores reveals that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, the hypothesis posits that social media has an impact on students' drive to learn.

Abstract

Quantitative research plays a crucial role in science, providing empirical evidence and measuring phenomena objectively. However, its effectiveness is often hindered by unclear methodological presentations, particularly in terms of research design, sample selection, data collection, and statistical analysis. This article examines the main constraints affecting the clarity and credibility of quantitative scientific publications. We also explore how advancements in technology and new methodologies add to this complexity. To address these issues, we recommend the use of clearer language, systematic presentation, and improved scientific writing training as solutions. The primary aim of this article is to enhance transparency and understanding in the presentation of quantitative methods, facilitate research replication, and strengthen scientific integrity. Through this analysis, we hope to enrich the literature with strategies that researchers can adopt to refine their presentation of quantitative research methodologies.

Abstract

This research was designed to find out how Islamic school students feel about e-learning. This research examines how students interpret e-learning, how they use it, and potential opportunities. Remarkable openings and challenges associated with e-learning in understanding learning. This research plan consists of a subjective descriptive examination. Students at Sunan Giri Surabaya College, namely the Islamic education program which is strictly focused on this program, is the subject of the exam. The research results show that there are both opportunities and challenges in implementing internet-based learning. Thus, the results of this research provide a comprehensive picture of how Islamic Religious Education students view e-learning. This can be used as a useful reference for building more innovative and flexible learning methods in the future.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Islamic Religious Education as a Pillar of Students' Ethical Life. Therefore, research at MA Jabal Noer is a curative solution for the current generation and preventive for future generations. This article is the result of field research using qualitative research methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data results were analyzed using descriptive research. The results of the research show that the formation of Islamic religious education values in students at MA Jabal Noer Throughout Sidoarjo has begun to appear, is developing well and has begun to be implemented in everyday life. The factors that influence continuity during the activity process are oneself, teachers, family and the environment. The internal supporting factors include the many parties who support the continuity of activities, the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure, the high level of enthusiasm of students. Meanwhile, externally, namely competent trainers, extensive organizational relationships and various events/competitions at various levels. Internally, the constraints found were the low interest of students in taking part in extra qiro'ah and the busyness of trainers, while from an external perspective, namely parental permission.

Abstract

Learning Society is an alternative discourse in the field of education that focuses on how education can be accessed anytime and anywhere, regardless of space and time. Every activity undertaken is always understood as a learning process. Therefore, schools are everywhere, not just formal institutions. Civil society today is a discourse that has gone through a lengthy process. It emerged as part of modernization and democratization, and at that time was more commonly known as civil society. Civil Society is a uniquely organized social environment. We uphold values of independence, self-reliance, personal responsibility, democracy, and good morals. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach, and data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study are the civil society formed at SMP Asa Cendekia Sedati Sidoarjo and the learning society in shaping the civil society of students.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach by utilizing interviews and observations as the main instruments to collect in-depth data regarding the application of the Dick and Carrey Model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at MA Al-Falah Nagreg. The research results highlight the dominant learning pattern in schools, which relies more on conventional methods with teacher presentation of material and student involvement through note-taking and limited discussion sessions. Factors that influence the decision not to adopt the Dick and Carrey Model, such as practical obstacles in its implementation, established school policies, financial constraints, and considerations of educational values and philosophy, are highlighted in the eval_uation of school obstacles. Furthermore, this article details alternative learning models that can be implemented to increase the effectiveness of PAI learning at MA Al-Falah, including project-based approaches, cooperative learning, and the flipped classroom concept, with the hope of being able to overcome these obstacles and be in line with the characteristics and values of educational values embraced by the school.
