Abstract

Micro-entrepreneurship in the property sector, particularly in rental shop-house (ruko) businesses, represents a promising strategy for fostering asset-based economic independence. However, limited research has explored female entrepreneurship practices through the lens of Islamic values, especially among MSME actors in semi-urban areas. This study aims to analyze the practice of Islamic edupreneurship in a ruko rental business managed by Ibu Sunaryati in Inderapura. A qualitative approach was employed using an exploratory case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the main entrepreneur, tenants, and community figures; participatory observation of business activities; and documentation of legal aspects such as lease contracts and building certificates. Thematic analysis was conducted using the Integrated Islamic Entrepreneurship Model (IIEM), which is grounded in three pillars: asset Islamization, entrepreneurial education values, and communal barakah (blessing). The findings reveal that this ruko rental business functions not only as a source of passive income but also embodies Islamic values such as ikhlas (sincerity), amanah (responsibility), and barakah in its daily operations. Business success is supported by a modular strategy, the application of sharia-compliant contracts (akad), and relationship management rooted in akhlaqul karimah (noble character). The study concludes that Islamic edupreneurship holds strong potential as an adaptive and sustainable model for micro-entrepreneurship. Its implications suggest that this model can be replicated by female MSME actors as a spiritually grounded approach to economic empowerment and asset-based prosperity.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is often perceived as abstract and disconnected from students’ daily lives, which contributes to low interest and motivation to learn. This study aims to examine the effect of the traditional educational game Cak n Cek Bangtar on elementary school students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of plane figures. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The subjects were nine fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Gondangan, Jogonalan Subdistrict, Klaten. The instrument used was a learning outcome test, and the data were analyzed using normality testing, N-Gain analysis, and a paired sample t-test. The results show a significant improvement in learning outcomes following the implementation of the game. The average pretest score of 58.2 increased to 81.4 in the posttest. N-Gain analysis indicated a gain of 0.65, categorized as moderate. The t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. These findings demonstrate that the traditional game Cak n Cek Bangtar is effective as a contextual approach to mathematics learning, particularly in the topic of plane figures. The study concludes that integrating educational games rooted in Tamansiswa values can improve learning outcomes while creating an enjoyable and meaningful learning atmosphere. This research contributes to the development of innovative and relevant instructional strategies in primary education.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a game circuit training product as a solution to enhance students' interest and enjoyment in physical education learning. This initiative is motivated by the lack of enthusiasm among students in participating in lessons, which is attributed to the delivery of material that is less engaging and monotonous. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 01 Sima, Pemalang Regency, utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the Borg & Gall model. This research methodology aims to produce a specific product as an innovation to address existing problems. The steps taken in this research include (1) initial information gathering, (2) planning, (3) initial product creation, (4) expert validation, (5) product revision, (6) small-scale trials, (7) product revision, (8) large-scale trials, and (9) final product. The validation results from game and learning experts indicate that this model is highly feasible, with an average validation score of 3.44 from game experts and 3.24 from learning experts, both falling into the category of highly feasible. Furthermore, small-scale field trials at SD Negeri 01 Sima showed an average feasibility score of 59% across psychomotor, cognitive, and affective aspects. Meanwhile, large-scale trials yielded an average score of 80%, indicating that the game circuit training development model is effective in physical education learning for enhancing students' physical abilities, particularly agility and endurance. The game circuit training is deemed effective and suitable as an innovative method to improve the quality of physical education learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Final-year students often face high academic pressure during the thesis writing process, which requires not only cognitive abilities but also strong psychological resilience. Issues such as low self-confidence and difficulty maintaining focus are major obstacles to completing the final project optimally. This study aims to analyze the extent to which self-efficacy and mindfulness influence students’ success in completing their final projects. A correlational quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 43 final-year students at IAIN Palangka Raya. Data were collected through an online questionnaire consisting of 23 Likert-scale statements covering three main indicators: self-efficacy, mindfulness, and final project completion success. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and Pearson correlation tests. The findings reveal that the combination of self-efficacy and mindfulness significantly contributes 48.7% to the success of final project completion, with self-efficacy emerging as the dominant predictor. These results indicate that students with high self-confidence and full awareness in managing stress and time tend to complete their final projects more effectively and efficiently. In conclusion, strengthening psychological aspects, particularly self-efficacy and mindfulness plays a strategic role in supporting students’ academic success. The study’s implications highlight the importance of developing mental health programs and integrated counseling services in higher education institutions, while also encouraging academic advisors to consider students’ psychological factors in order to provide more comprehensive and solution-oriented guidance.

Abstract

Arabic language instruction in schools often encounters challenges, particularly in developing reading skills. Many students struggle to comprehend Arabic texts, and the evaluation methods commonly employed remain limited in scope. With the advancement of technology, applications such as Quizalize offer a more interactive and engaging alternative for assessment. This study aims to examine the use of the Quizalize application and its effectiveness as an evaluation tool in Mahārah Qirāʾah learning at MAN 8 Jombang. A quantitative research method was employed, using a quasi-experimental design specifically, the Quasi One-Group Pretest-Posttest model. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. The findings indicate: (1) the use of Quizalize as an evaluation medium for reading skills in Arabic language instruction at class XI 2 MAN 8 Jombang facilitated interactive and engaging assessments, enhancing both teacher efficiency and student participation in the learning process; (2) the effectiveness of Quizalize in assessing Mahārah Qirāʾah was evident. Descriptive analysis revealed an increase in average scores from 70 (pretest) to 91.1 (posttest). Hypothesis testing showed an Asymp. Sig value of < 0.001, indicating that the use of Quizalize was proven effective in evaluating Mahārah Qirāʾah instruction.

Abstract

Religious tolerance issues in multicultural elementary school environments remain a significant challenge, particularly in pluralistic societies like Indonesia, where disharmony may arise without early cultivation of mutual respect. This study aims to explore the implementation of multicultural-based religious education in fostering students’ attitudes of religious tolerance at SDN Ngasemlemahbang, a school characterized by religiously heterogeneous social settings. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic and Christian religious teachers, and fifth- and sixth-grade students as research subjects. Data analysis proceeded through data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that multicultural-based religious education was implemented through segregated religious classes according to students’ faiths, habituation of religious activities, and interfaith interactions within the school environment. These strategies successfully enhanced students’ understanding and mutual respect across different religious backgrounds. In conclusion, a multicultural approach to religious education is effective in nurturing religious tolerance attitudes at the elementary school level. The implication is that this educational model can serve as a reference for other schools with similar diversity to create an inclusive, peaceful, and harmonious educational environment.

Abstract

The implementation of Forum Annisa at MTsN 7 Agam plays a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and moral development of female students. This forum serves as a platform for students to share experiences and raise awareness about the importance of women’s fiqh, including reproductive health, the formation of Islamic character, and the development of social skills and leadership among Muslim women. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to depict the situation of Forum Annisa implementation in the field. The findings indicate that all students actively participate in the program through structured and continuous weekly meetings focused on fiqh studies, Islamic monitoring, and habituation of noble character. The positive impact of the forum is reflected in improved student understanding of worship practices and women’s fiqh, as well as the ability to apply attitudes that embody Muslimah character in daily life. Additionally, Forum Annisa contributes to building solidarity and the spirit of ukhūwah islāmiyyah among students. In conclusion, Forum Annisa is an effective strategy for enhancing religious literacy and Islamic character among female students at MTsN 7 Agam.

Abstract

Bullying victimization among adolescents, particularly within school environments, remains a serious issue that negatively affects students. One factor influencing bullying victimization is social competence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social competence and bullying victimization among students at SMPN X in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. A quantitative correlational approach was employed, with a sample of 194 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using instruments developed by the researcher, with the social competence scale based on aspects from Shujja and Malik (2015) and the bullying victimization scale referring to aspects from Smith et al. (1999). Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between social competence and bullying victimization among SMPN X students. Theoretically, this study contributes to psychological research, particularly further studies on the relationship between social competence and bullying victimization at the junior high school level. Practically, the findings underscore the importance of enhancing students’ social competence, especially in the areas of social initiative and leadership. Schools are recommended to implement social competence development programs using empirical methods such as role-playing, digital journalism training, and the provision of safe reporting systems. This research also opens avenues for further studies concerning perpetrator-related factors influencing bullying victimization among students.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology is crucial in supporting the academic information needs of university students. This study aims to describe the level of utilization of the Digilib UNP application by students at Universitas Negeri Padang and to examine the relationship between the application’s usage and the fulfillment of students’ information needs. A quantitative descriptive method was employed with a purposive sample of 93 respondents from a total population of 1,391 Digilib UNP users. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests with SPSS. The results indicate that the utilization of the Digilib UNP application falls into the good category with an average score of 2.81, while information needs, including cognitive, affective, and personal integration aspects received an average score of 2.43. Correlation analysis revealed a significant and strong relationship between the utilization of Digilib UNP and students’ information needs (r = 0.769). In conclusion, increased utilization of the Digilib UNP application correlates positively with the fulfillment of students’ academic information needs. The study’s implications emphasize the importance of optimizing application features, expanding digital collections, and strengthening students’ digital literacy as strategies to enhance the effectiveness of information technology in higher education.

Abstract

The low student interest in learning, which is still dominated by lecture methods and conventional textbooks, underlies the development of audiovisual-based learning media for the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI). This study aims to develop the E-SKI application based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve the learning achievement of seventh-grade students at MTs Plus Bahrul Ulum. The Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model was employed, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 21 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Content validation by experts yielded an average score of 89.3% (very good category), and media validation by media experts achieved 93.3% (very good category), indicating that the media product is feasible for trial. Field testing resulted in a score of 88.1% (good category), demonstrating that the E-SKI media on the topic “The Rightly Guided Caliphs and the Umayyad Dynasty” is effective for use in SKI learning processes. This study is expected to inspire students to utilize technology in learning, thereby maintaining motivation and enthusiasm in pursuing beneficial and sustainable knowledge.
