Abstract

Teaching children with physical, emotional, mental, or social problems who also have special potential intellect and gifts falls under the general heading of special education. Technical education services in the form of special education for children with disabilities or children with very high IQs can be offered at the primary and secondary school levels either inclusively or in the form of special education units. Therefore, there is a need for teachers who have the necessary credentials and are familiar with the traits of kids with learning disabilities, especially kids with special needs. The goal of this project is to apply a circuit-based inclusive education technique to aid the motor skill development of children with exceptional needs. In this examination, a broad research and development strategy was employed. using a quantitative strategy and quasi-experimental techniques. 30 students from Sukoharjo SLB were utilized as research participants, and data was collected through observation, interviews, practical tests, and documentation. Data triangulation techniques were then used for analysis. Data gathering, reduction, and verification, as well as data interpretation. Based on the study's findings, it can be said that circuit training helps children with special needs develop their motor abilities. But more study is required on the topics of adaptive learning, conventional games, social environments, psychological, fine motor abilities, physical fitness, and those connected to inclusive learning in children with special needs.

Abstract

The increasing of educational technology compels the educator to undergo a transformation. Teachers must design an innovative media and method in the learning process to attract students' interest and motivation. Flipped classroom is one of teaching methods which can be used in teaching learning process. There are several models of flipped classroom. One of the models which suitable with the writing skill is traditional flip. Traditional flip is simply front-loading a video of content followed by problems, activities, or writing in class based on that content (Cockrum, 2014) This study aimed to investigate the students’ perception about flipped classroom in writing class. The design of the study was qualitative study using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using interview and questionnaire. Ten students of twelfth grade participated in this study based on their experience through flipped classroom in writing class. The finding indicated that there were seven benefits obtained by the use of flipped classroom. They were categorized in the term of flexibility, feedback, students prior knowledge, efficiently use time, community, and autonomous learning. Another finding was about the obstacles occurred in learning process including internet connection, difficulty in understanding the video, and the lack of giving a score.

Abstract

This article aims at classifying translation shifts of English verb phrase into Indonesian and describing the application of the translation shift in translation teaching. The data are in the forms phrases, clauses, and sentences containing verb phrases and their Indonesian transalation. The data were collected using content analysis, questionnaire, and interview. They were analyzed using Catford theory of translation shifts. The first result indicates that there are three translation shifts. They are structure shift, rank or level shift, and intra-system shift. Second finding shows that there are thirteen steps in translation teaching. Most procedures in teaching translation activated students as the approaches used were project-based learning and students centered learning. The process of teaching and learning by applying research results and doing directly as found in the examples makes it easier for students to understand the material provided.

Abstract

This paper will discuss women, namely the rights of the wife, in consideration of the judge who gave permission for polygamy in Decision No. 1167/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Kra. The decision issued by the Karanganyar Religious Court provides several considerations related to the condition of the wife and husband and the continuity of the household after polygamy. This article was written with the aim of knowing how to fulfill women's rights in the judge's consideration in decision number 1167/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Kra. The approach method used is the normative-juridical method. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be seen that the judge in Decision Number 1167/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Kra has considered several aspects of fulfilling the rights of wives and husbands and maintaining the continuity of the household by minimizing disputes in the future by determining mutual assets and has considered the financial capabilities of the husband, even though the decision has not shown clarity on the amount of income that the first wife will receive as a guarantee that the husband can act fairly. and in his consideration, the judge set aside several facts that had been submitted in the application and proved that there was an application for a polygamy permit, namely that the prospective second wife was already pregnant. The novelty of this paper is that the author sees several aspects of judges' considerations in granting permission for polygamy.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurobiological developmental disorder that is diagnosed in childhood. Physiotherapy can play a role in helping reduce problems to minimize the occurrence of growth and development disorders. Helps prevent spasticity by releasing the Golgi Tendon Organ(GTO), as well as doing massage to relax and reduce pain. After 3 treatments, the results obtained were a decrease in T0:4 to T3:0 as measured using the Wong Baker FACES Pain Rating Scale. Spasticity decreased from T0:2 to T3:0 which was assessed using the Ashworth scale. The results showed that GTO release and massage were effective in ASD cases.

Abstract

Supracondylar fracture of the humerus is the most common elbow fracture in children and usually occur in children between the ages of 5 and 7 years. Limitation of joint mobility is a common complication after surgery in the elbow area. In the patient Mr. E.M.W with a diagnosis of post open reduction internal fixation in a complete fracture of the left supracondylar humerus found movement pain problems, ROM limitations, decreased muscle strength and decreased function of the upper extremities. Physiotherapy interventions that given to patient such as infrared, muscle energy techniques, and active ROM exercise provide good changes such as decreased pain levels, increased left elbow flexion and extension ROM in both active and passive motion, and increased upper extremity function. For the left elbow flexor and extensor muscle groups that experienced a decrease in strength, there was no increase in muscle strength which could be due to the lack of frequency of physiotherapy sessions.

Abstract

Donorejo is a village located in Secang sub-district, Magelang district. During the observation and interview process with the village, there were 12 children with stunting problems. One of the stunting factors in Donorejo Village is the lack of parental knowledge about nutrition. Therefore, the PPMT activity program implemented includes a nutrition improvement program for stunting children. In addition, the training program on how to make additional food for stunted children The mentoring program is also carried out in providing play therapy for stunted children. Partners in running this program include the village government, youth organization, PKK, cadres, and the local community. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and competence to Donorejo Village community groups related to stunting. With this PPMT program, it is expected to be a preventive effort to prevent and reduce stunting problems in Donorejo village.

Abstract

Generalized Auto-Regressive Conditional Heteroskeasticity (GARCH) is a model used to predict the volatility of returns. Volatility is a statistical measure of the movement of returns for securities (financial instruments that can only be traded through markets or securities companies) or certain market indices. Then the GARCH model was further developed into an asymmetric form, namely conditional volatility and returns have a relationship, namely the GJR model which is an abbreviation of the name (Glosten- Jagannathan-Runkle). This research focuses on the GJR-X by adding high-frequency exogenous variables in volatility process and on the GARCH-CJ which is a decomposition of the exogenous variable X, namely the continuous component C (Continuous) and the jump J (Jump). TOPIX data (Tokyo Stock Price Index) is the real data used in this study. To estimate the model parameters, the ARWM (Adaptive Random Walk Metropolis) method will be used with the MCMC (Markov Chain Monte Carlo) algorithm. First, it was found that the ARWM method is good at estimating parameters. Second, the AIC value of GJR-CJ was smaller than that of GJR-X, which means that GJR-CJ had better data fitting.

Abstract

Booster vaccination is very necessary for the community to avoid COVID-19; however, this booster can cause side effects. Therefore, this needs to be anticipated so that these side effects do not cause problems. This study aims to obtain the side effects of Booster Covid- 19 vaccination at adults. A total of 46 respondents were selected using the cluster sampling technique. This study applied a descriptive design of data collection using a check list. The results stated that all (100%) booster vaccine users get side effects, the booster used here are Moderna, Sinovac, and Pfizer. It could be concluded all respondents have effect sides.

Abstract

Hygiene behavior of food handlers is inseparable from attitudes and knowledge regarding food hygiene and sanitation. Knowledge, attitude and personal hygiene of food handlers is very important in food handling so that the food produced is protected from contamination. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of food sanitation hygiene education on knowledge and hygiene behavior of food handlers at Alhikmah Surakarta Catering. Research method: This type of research is quasi-experimental using a one group pretest posttest design. The sample in this study were food handlers at Alhikmah Surakarta Catering in October 2022. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with inclusion criteria, namely food handlers who can read and are willing to be samples, so that the sample in this study was 18 people. Food sanitation hygiene education is carried out every 2 weeks for 3 weeks using leftleat media. Test analysis of differences in knowledge of food handlers before and after food using the Wilcoxon test and test analysis of differences in behavior of food handlers before and after food using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that the difference in the knowledge of food handlers before and after food sanitation hygiene education obtained a P value = 0.046 and the difference in the behavior of food handlers before and after food sanitation hygiene education obtained a P value = 0.000. Conclusion: There is an increase in the knowledge and behavior of food handlers after being given food sanitation hygiene education at Alhikmah Surakarta Catering.
