Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Haharu through the implementation of the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model, supplemented with the “Quis Interaktif” Student Worksheet (LKPD). This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with 35 students as the research subjects. The instruments used include a learning outcomes test, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the application of the GI model with the “Quis Interaktif” LKPD can improve student learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in the average learning score from Cycle I to Cycle II. In addition, student activity during the learning process also increased, as indicated by more active participation in discussions and collaboration within groups. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the GI cooperative learning model with the “Quis Interaktif” LKPD be implemented in other classes to effectively enhance student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning module for the course Pengantar Studi Islam (Introduction to Islamic Studies) at the Ali bin Abi Thalib Islamic College (STAI) Surabaya, focusing on the sources of Islamic teachings: the Qur'an, Sunnah, Ijma', and Qiyas. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model, which involves three stages: planning, development, and evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation, student questionnaires, and formative evaluation. The results of the study show that the developed module is valid, with an average score of 94% from content experts and 95.5% from language experts. It was also deemed very practical by students, with an average score of 82.82%. The module has proven to meet learning needs by providing structured material, communicative language, and relevant exercises. Suggestions from validators and students were implemented to enhance the quality of the module, making it more suitable for the learning context. The conclusion of this study indicates that the developed PSI learning module is valid, practical, and feasible for use in improving the quality of learning. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar teaching materials in the future.

Abstract

People are highly motivated to create new things, such as teaching materials, along with the rapid development of technology. One of the innovations in teaching materials is the switch from printed modules to electronic modules, known as E-Modules. The aim of this article is to develop an effective and practical Interactive Digital Module for classroom learning by utilizing Canva. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model. This research was carried out at MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangkaraya. The Digital Module is adjusted by conducting validity and practicality tests. Validation is carried out by media experts and material experts. The results of the media validation of the interactive digital module at MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangkaraya show that this module is valid with a media expert validation percentage of 86% and material expert validation of 83.33%. Meanwhile, the results of practical tests carried out at the research school showed that 82.5% of students gave positive responses. Thus, the use of Canva-based interactive digital modules at MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangkaraya can be considered valid and practical to apply in learning.

Abstract

The increasing demand for boarding houses in urban areas presents challenges for owners, including ensuring security, managing access, and enforcing tenant compliance with rental agreements. This research introduces an IoT-based electronic door lock system utilizing e-KTP for boarding houses to address these challenges. The system facilitates efficient and secure room access management through integration with a web server for real-time monitoring and notifications. It employs an RFID reader to authenticate e-KTP cards, with the data processed by a NodeMCU microcontroller to control a solenoid lock. For emergency situations, a pushbutton is installed to allow access from inside the room. The system records all access events and sends notifications to users, including reminders for payment deadlines and rental expiration. All data is stored in a MySQL database and accessed through a user-friendly web interface designed for tenants and landlords. Testing demonstrates the system's reliability in granting authorized access and blocking unauthorized attempts. The push button ensures secure internal use. The integration of IoT technology enhances security, convenience, and administrative efficiency in managing rental housing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the learning model in reading learning groups at Kindergarten (TK). The background of this research stems from the challenges faced by educators in improving early childhood reading skills. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Data were collected from educators, students, and parents to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the application of the reading learning model used in the classroom. The results of the study indicate that the learning model, which uses a phonemic approach and is based on play, is very effective in enhancing children's interest and reading abilities. The children showed significant improvement in recognizing letters, sounds, and reading simple words after this method was implemented. Additionally, the active role of parents in supporting reading activities at home also contributed to the success of the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that the reading learning model based on play and the phonemic approach is highly effective in improving early childhood reading skills and can serve as a good alternative for implementation in early childhood education institutions. This study also recommends the need for training for educators to better apply appropriate methods according to the characteristics of the students.

Abstract

This study analyzes the improvement of student learning outcomes with the help of educaplay edugame on the material “Exclamation Mark” grade 2 SD N Plaosan. This study aims to determine the application of Educaplay digital edugame on the material “Exclamation Mark” in grade 2 SD Negeri Plaosan and to determine student learning outcomes through educaplay digital edugame on the material “Exclamation Mark” in grade 2 SD Negeri Plaosan. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving 15 grade 2 students as samples. The data instrument techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. Data were collected using pretest and postest. The results showed that: (1) the learning process with the help of educaplay runs according to the lesson plan, (2) there is an increase in student learning outcomes through pretest and posttest, (3) student learning outcomes through educaplay increased from initially 40% of the number of students completed to 86.6% of students completed in Indonesian language subjects (4) the application of educaplay edugame is considered effective to improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 students in Indonesian language subjects.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study which aimss to see whther theree is a significant infIuence of the learning strategy relating, exsperiencig, appliying, cooperating, transferring (REACT) on the mathematical connection abilities of class X students at SMAN 2 Ranah Batahan, West Pasaman Regency. The population in this study were all class X students of SMAN2 Ranah Batahan. The samples in this study were two local areas, namely experimental class X.3 and control class X.2, totaIing 59 students. The sampling technikue was carried out using random sampling. The Instrument used is a mathematical connection ability test. Next, tests were carried out on both sample classes. Before testing, pre-requisite tests were carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneiti test. This research obtained hipothesis test results using the t-test, namely t_hitung=2.064, and t_hitung> t_((0.95;57)),so that it accepted H_1and rejected〖 H〗_0. So, the mathematical connection abilities of students who take part in learning using the REACT learning strategy are beter than student who takes part in learning using exspository learning strategies.

Abstract

A This study aims to describe the feasibility of wordwall learning media applications for grade V students in Islamic religious education subjects and to describe student responses to wordwall learning media applications for grade V students at SDN Banjardowo 1 Jombang. Product development that will be applied at SD Negeri Banjardowo 1 Jombang is in the form of wordwall learning media based on the problems that exist in the school. In this research, the development model uses ADDIE, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This development research aims to test the feasibility of learning media, evaluate better learning outcomes, and determine student reactions to the developed application-based learning media. Based on the feasibility of wordwall application learning media from the results of the validator getting an average score of 82% and the results of material expert validation with an average score of 83% included in the very good category. At the student response stage based on the trial to 33 students, the average score was obtained to be 87 with a very good category. The results of student responses can be seen from 5 indicators in the closed questionnaire, namely: (1) students' opinions on learning based on contextual problems score percentage 81% positive category; (2) the ease of students in understanding the subject matter through a contextual approach score percentage 90% very positive category; (3) student motivation in learning that leads to concept discovery score percentage 92% very positive category; (4) student interest in learning based on real experience score percentage 91% very positive category; (5) enthusiasm for student learning with a contextual approachscore percentage 80% positive category. So it can be concluded that the wordwall application learning media is feasible to use and apply as a teaching media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the quality of Fiqh learning for tenth-grade students at MA Mambaul Ma'arif Denanyar Jombang. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of PBL successfully increased student participation in the learning process, both individually and in groups. This model has proven effective in developing students' critical thinking, analytical, and understanding skills regarding Fiqh concepts relevant to everyday life. Students are also more motivated to learn thanks to the interactive, collaborative, and contextual learning atmosphere. However, several challenges in the implementation of PBL have been identified, such as time constraints, lack of preparation from students and teachers, and the need for adequate supporting resources. To address these issues, an active role of teachers as facilitators, continuous training for teachers, and support facilities from the school are needed. The findings of this research contribute significantly to learning innovations in madrasahs, particularly in preparing students to face academic and real-life challenges. With the more optimal and sustainable implementation of PBL, it is hoped that this model can become an effective learning approach in improving the quality of Fiqh education in madrasah environments. Furthermore, this research can also serve as a foundation for the development of education policies oriented towards competency-based and student creativity-focused learning.

Abstract

The background to the problem is student’s low understanding of mathematical concepts. This research aims to determine the significant influence of the discovery method on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Pasaman for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is pre-experimental with the research design The Static Group Comparison Design. The population in this study were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Pasaman, totaling 84 students. The instrument in this research is a test of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. From the results of data analysis of students' mathematical concept understanding tests using the t-test, it was obtained that t_count = 2.622 and t_table = 1.676. Because t_count > t_table so H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. For SPSS software testing at a real level of a = 0.05, sig = 0.012, meaning sig < a, so H_0 is also rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the discovery method on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Pasaman for the 2023/2024 academic year.
