Abstract

This research is to reveal about: 1). Strategies Used by Teachers to Improve Students' Reading Ability in Class II B 2). Teacher Strategy Steps Used in Improving Students' Reading Ability in Class II B 3). Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Teacher Strategies in Improving Students' Reading Ability in Class II B. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that, 1) The strategies used by teachers to improve students' reading skills in class II B of the Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private Elementary School for the 2023-2024 academic year are two main strategies that utilize learning media. First, the use of letter card media, Second, the use of picture card media involving pictures, animated videos, and educational applications to introduce the letters of the alphabet, 2) Teacher strategy steps used to improve students' reading skills in class II B elementary schools Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private School for the 2023-2024 Academic Year, namely, interactive learning strategies and various media are used to increase students' understanding and interest. These methods, including dividing students into groups, using letter and picture cards, and teacher-led games, successfully create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher strategies in improving students' reading skills in class II B of the Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private Elementary School for the 2023-2024 academic year, namely, the existence of modern facilities, teacher enthusiasm and professionalism, as well as interactive learning approaches such as the use of picture cards, has shown positive results in increasing student interest and participation. Despite challenges such as diverse student backgrounds, inefficient learning time, and lack of motivation from families, collaborative efforts between teachers, students, and school management, as well as adjustments to learning strategies, play an important role in creating an effective and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This study, titled "Missiology as a Tool for Social Transformation in Christian Religious Education," aims to explore how the principles of missiology can be applied within the context of Christian religious education to promote positive social change. Using a qualitative research method with a literature review approach, the study collects and analyzes various written sources, including books, journal articles, and research reports relevant to missiology and Christian education. The main findings indicate that integrating missiology into the Christian education curriculum can enhance students' awareness and engagement with social issues and facilitate the development of missionary character. The study also identifies challenges and obstacles in applying missiology, such as resistance to change and resource limitations. Recommendations are provided to improve the implementation of missiology in Christian education, emphasizing the importance of institutional support and the use of information technology. This research contributes to understanding how Christian education can serve as a tool for social transformation through a missiological approach.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of a STEAM learning approach based on the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to enhance student interest and learning outcomes in IPAS subjects for Class V at SDN 14 Bengkayang. The research subjects involved 25 fifth-grade students from Class 5A during the 2023/2024 school year. The research method employed was classroom action research (PTK), utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires, and tests. The study was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The findings indicate that the implementation of the STEAM learning approach, grounded in the PjBL model, significantly improved student interest and learning outcomes in the IPAS subject. This suggests that integrating STEAM and PjBL can effectively engage students and enhance their academic performance in science and social studies.

Abstract

The main purpose of learning tahfidz Al Qur’an is the formation of personality in the students themselves which is reflected in their behavior and mindset in daily life, then learning tahfidz Al Qur’an is not only the responsibility of the tahfidz Al Qur’an alone, but it requires the support of the entire community at school, society, and more importantly is the parent because the Qur'an as a guide to the lives of Muslims that we must read and practice. This research uses a qualitative approach. While the method of data collection uses observations, interviews, field notes and study documents. The results of this study can be stated that the character values that can be instilled in students through the study of tahfidz Al Qur’an include honest, diligent, disciplined, sincere, patient, hard work, hard work, istiqomah and responsibilities that are applied in life . The method used in memorizing the Qur'an in TKIT Buah Hati is to use the muraja'ah method (to repeat memorization that has been played before the teacher), the sima'i method (to hear the meaning of this method by students listening to something to memorize, and the talaqqi method (depositing or listening to memorization that was just memorized to a teacher). The formation of character through the study of tahfidz of the Qur'an besides being part of the process of forming noble morals, is expected to be the main foundation in increasing the degree and dignity of students as children of the nation. The formation of a balanced, healthy and strong human personality is strongly influenced by religious education and the internalization of religious values in students. The formation of students' Islamic character at TKIT Buah Hati Sintang is carried out by the method of delivery, habituation, exemplary, reprimand, and the provision of rewards and punishment.

Abstract

Students who have high self-confidence will have high motivation to achieve as well, and can support students in achieving academic achievement or certain goals. Meanwhile, students who have low self-confidence will have an impact on their low motivation as well, so students cannot achieve academic achievement as expected. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the correlation method The subjects in this study are all students of Wahyu Makassar High School which totals 72 students, who are in classes X and XI and there are 2 fields of majors. The analysis technique used in hypothesis testing is Spearman rank correlation. The results of the study showed that there was a positive relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation of Wahyu Makassar High School students with a correlation value of0.509 and a significance of 0.00. This means that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the motivation for achievement in students. On the other hand, the lower the self-efficacy, the lower the self-motivation in students at Wahyu Makassar High School. The results of this research can be an evaluation material for students to increase self-efficacy by building confidence and developing social skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems found in fifth grade students at SD Islam Darul Makmur, namely low student learning outcomes, lack of student mastery of the material, because the method used was still dominated by the lecture method so that students easily felt bored, not serious when following the learning process, not paying attention to the explanation of the material provided by the teacher and this has an impact on student learning outcomes. Most students get unsatisfactory grades. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Joyfull Learning method in improving the learning outcomes of class V.2 students in PAI lessons with SPI elements in Khulafaurrasyidin material at Darul Mamur Sungai Rotan Islamic Elementary School. The research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The research design used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design, namely research involving a control class and an experimental class. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique, namely sampling samples with certain considerations. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the research show that the Joyfull Learning method is effective in increasing student learning outcomes in class V.2 PAI learning in khulafaurrasyidin material at Darul Sungai Rotan Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning video media to improve MAN Palangka Raya City students' understanding of the material for dealing with various kinds of tests and trials. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects involved MAN Palangka Raya City students. The definition stage includes needs analysis, student characteristics, curriculum and materials. The design stage includes creating storyboards, scripts and visual video designs. The development stage consists of video production, material and media expert validation, and limited testing. The dissemination stage is carried out through the introduction of video media in classroom learning. Validation results from material experts show a percentage of 83.3%, which is categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, validation from media experts received a score of 84%, also included in the very worthy category. The questionnaire given to teachers received a score of 85.5%, and the questionnaire given to students received a score of 76.5% which was categorized as adequate. The use of learning video media has been proven to increase students' understanding significantly, as shown by increased results before and after the test. This research concludes that the development of educational video media will help increase students' understanding at MAN Palangka Raya City about how to approach various kinds of tests and trials from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Technology provides various alternative learning methods, such as videos, animations, simulations, and educational games, which make learning more interesting and interactive. This study aims to develop video-based learning media and wordwall educational quizzes to improve students' concentration on Bani Abbasiyah material at MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangka Raya. The research method used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which consists of five stages, namely needs analysis, media design, development, implementation, and effectiveness evaluation. The results of the analysis show that students find it difficult to concentrate when the teacher explains the learning material. Therefore, interactive media is needed to improve concentration and understanding so that students are interested in the material presented. At the development stage, we will create learning media in the form of visualization videos of Bani Abbasiyah material, as well as wordwall-based quizzes to increase student participation. The trial of the development of this learning media was carried out in one meeting and learning was delivered to students using the developed media. Video and wordwall- based media have proven successful and received positive responses from students because they can increase interest in learning and active participation in the learning process. This study concludes that the results are quite satisfactory in improving concentration and focus in students because the results of the questionnaire obtained students feel interested and enthusiastic about the media provided which indirectly makes them focus on the video. Therefore, video-based learning media and wordwalls can be an effective alternative to improve students' concentration and understanding of the subject of Islamic Cultural History, especially in the Bani Abbasiyah material.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Wordwall-based learning assessment media on the nature of Allah SWT in class VII at MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangka Raya. Using the "Research and Development" (R&D) method, this research involves validation by material and media experts, which shows results that are worthy of being tested. Product trials show that this media can increase students' interest and motivation in the learning process. The research results show that 81% of students feel more enthusiastic when using this media, while 76% of teaching staff support its implementation. Wordwall-based assessment media not only helps understanding the material, but also creates a more interactive and interesting learning atmosphere, so that it can overcome limited infrastructure and policies in schools.

Abstract

This service is entitled Literacy Assistance for children through word board media at SDK Kekajodho. The purpose of this service is to introduce the concept of words to children to improve literacy through word board media. The methods used methods used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the this assistance shows that this media assistance carried out by Teaching Campus students is able to improve students' literacy Teaching Campus students are able to improve students' literacy. Interview results interview results also show that using word board media is very effective for children because it is a direct teaching tool that can be displayed or used by students. children because it is a direct teaching aid that can be shown or shown to children and can be shown to children and can help children recognise words and improve literacy.
