Abstract

The problems that will be discussed in this thesis are (1). How to apply the Problem Based Learning model to improve the ability to solve story problems on ordinary fractions for class IV students at SDN 9 Limboto. The research model is classroom action research by Kemmis Mc Taggart. The research subjects were 11 class IV students at SDN 09 Limboto. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of test questions, observation, interviews and documentation. The research stages have four models, namely: preparation (planning), action implementation, monitoring and evaluation (observation), analysis and reflection. The results of the research show that Problem Based Learning activities to improve students' abilities in solving story problems in class IV at SDN 09 Limboto can be seen from the percentages obtained. During the pre-cycle the average percentage was 9% before action was taken, then after action was taken in cycle I the average percentage value increased to 54% and increased again in cycle II with an average percentage value of 90% and had reached the success rate is 75%. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning model can improve students' abilities in solving questions and problems on ordinary fractions in class IV SDN 09 Limboto.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model; Ordinary Fractions; Mathematics.Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam skripsi ini yakni (1). Bagaimana penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi pecahan biasa pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN 9 Limboto. Model penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas oleh KemmisMc Taggart. Subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto yang berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes soal, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian memiliki empat model yaitu: persiapan (perncanaan),pelaksanaan tindakan, pemantauan dan evaluasi (pengamatan), analisis dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kegiatan Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita di kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto dapat dilihat dari jumlah-jumlah prsentase yang didapatkan. Pada saat pra-siklus presentase rata-rata yakni 9% sebelum dilakukan tindakan, kemudian setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I nilai presentase rata-rata meningkat yakni 54% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II dengan nilai presentase rata-rata yakni 90% dan sudah mencapai tingkat keberhasilan yakni 75%. Maka dengan itu model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal certa materi pecahan biasa di kelas IV SDN 09 Limboto.Kata Kunci: Model Problem Based Learning; Pecahan Biasa; Matematika.

Abstract

The study titled "Educational Transformation in Elementary Schools: Utilizing Artificial Intelligence-Based Learning Media in the Digital Era" aims to elucidate the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) integration in supporting the digital education transformation in elementary schools. The research method employed is a literature review involving collecting and analyzing data from various previous studies, as well as comparing and synthesizing expert opinions. The research findings indicate that using AI-based learning media, such as puzzle makers, provides significant benefits in elementary education. AI can enhance personalized learning by analyzing the needs and abilities of each student. Puzzle maker media also enhances student engagement in problem-solving, enriches understanding of learning concepts, and develops cognitive skills and abilities. The significance of AI integration in supporting digital education transformation is reflected in its ability to provide a more personalized and adaptive learning experience. AI can optimize the learning process by monitoring students' individual progress and providing tailored learning recommendations. However, challenges such as adequate technological infrastructure, teacher skills in operating AI technology, and developing relevant content exist. Solutions to address these challenges involve improving infrastructure, providing teacher training, and developing high-quality content. In conclusion, AI integration in elementary education has a positive impact on enhancing the quality of learning and providing a better learning experience. By addressing challenges and implementing appropriate solutions, AI can be an effective tool in supporting the transformation of digital education and achieving better education in this digital era

Abstract

AbstractBerdasarkan latar belakang dapat dikemukakan rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana Penerapan Metode Picture an Picture Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV di SDN 9 Limboto. Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui penerapan Metode Picture and Picture dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS Kelas IV di SDN 9 Limboto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penelitian tindakan kelas adalah penelitian yang akar masalahnya muncul di kelas dan diketahui oleh guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki atau mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi sealama proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran Menggunakan metode Picture and Picture menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS mengalami peningkatan setelah melalui Metode pembelajaran Picture and Picture dapat diketahui bahwa hasil belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan mulai pre test, test soal siklus I, sampai test soal siklus II. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari ketuntasan belajar dari 24% meningkat menjadi 50% (pre test),. Post Test Siklus I dan Post Test Siklus II dengan nilai ketuntasan belajar 50% dan Post Test Siklus II dengan ketuntasan belajar 50%, hal ini dapat diketahui dari ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I 50% Meningkat menjadi 80% .kemudian (test soal siklus I) Nilai rata-rata menjadi 68,92, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 79,84 (test soal siklus II).Kata Kunci: Penerapan Metode Picture and Picture; Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar.Based on the background, a problem formulation can be put forward, namely how to apply the Picture and Picture Method to improve science and science learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 9 Limboto. The expected aim of conducting this research is to determine the application of the Picture and Picture Method in improving student learning outcomes in Class IV Science and Technology subjects at SDN 9 Limboto. The type of research used in this research is the classroom action research approach. Classroom action research is research where the root of the problem arises in the classroom and is known to the teacher. This research was conducted to improve or overcome problems encountered during the learning process. Students in following the learning process using the Picture and Picture method show positive results. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in science and science subjects have increased after using the Picture and Picture learning method. It can be seen that student learning outcomes and learning achievements have increased from the pre-test, cycle I test questions, to cycle II test questions. This can be seen from the learning completeness from 24% increasing to 50% (pre test), Post Test Cycle I and Post Test Cycle II with a learning completeness value of 50% and Post Test Cycle II with learning completeness 50%, this can be seen from learning completeness from cycle I 50% Increased to 80%. Then (test questions from cycle I) the average score became 68.92, and increased again to 79.84 (test questions from cycle II).Keywords: Application of the Picture and Picture Method; Improving Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the integration of ethnomathematics in mathematics education within the context of students' living environments. Utilizing a literature review method, this study systematically examines relevant literature on ethnomathematics and mathematics education to gain profound insights. The research focuses on identifying ethnomathematics concepts and their application in the context of mathematics education, particularly within the communities where students reside. Through the evaluation of case studies and previous research, the study aims to draw conclusions regarding the effectiveness of integrating ethnomathematics in enhancing students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The findings are expected to guide education practitioners in designing more relevant and meaningful teaching strategies, promoting a strong connection between formal mathematical concepts and the cultural contexts and life experiences of students. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the increase in student learning activity after implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in class 1V Indonesian language learning. This research was conducted in class IV at SDN 3 Limboto using classroom action research. Learning is carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle has stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 38 class IV students at SDN 3 Limboto. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and test techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that teacher activity and student activity in the learning process by applying the Teams Games Tournament model in Indonesian language learning material with the word "me-" in class 1V at SDN 3 Limboto has increased. Successful in achieving the expected indicators of success in this research, namely 90% of all class 1V students can understand the material well and are actively involved in the learning process.Keywords: Teams Games Tournament Model, Student learning activity, Indonesian. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa setelah penerapan Model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 1V. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas IV SDN 3 Limboto dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Pembelajaran dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus mempunyai tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Limboto yang berjumlah 38 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Teams Games Tournament pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia materi kata berimbuhan “me-“ kelas 1V SDN 3 Limboto terdapat peningkatan. Berhasil dalam mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini, yakni 90% dari keseluruhan siswa kelas 1V dapat memahami materi dengan baik dan aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Model Teams Games Tournament, Keaktifan belajar siswa, Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

The writing of this article was written based on the lack of speaking skills of elementary school students who are less than optimal. The method used in writing this article is a qualitative method based on library research. The author examines the problem of language skills in students. Until now, students still feel unsure to express their opinions about the learning material they learn. When asked to speak in front of the class they tend to be shy, less expressive and mistaken about what they want to say. The findings of each article analyzed showed that the application of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model had an influence on students' speaking skills. This is because the jigsaw model makes it easier for students to cooperate and exchange opinions with peers in preparing learning materials, the jigsaw model requires all students to equate mindset as the basis for delivery in discussion groups. Keywords: Speeking Skills; Jigsaw; Cooperative Learning Model.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to increase the learning activities of class IV students at SDN 81 Sipatana, Gorontalo City through the use of the Active Learning learning model in 2024. This research method uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this research were class IV students at SDN 81 Sipatana, Gorontalo City, the number of students for the 2023-2024 academic year was 21 students consisting of 9 girls and 12 boys. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings and 4 stages which refer to the Kemmis and Taggart model, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this research show that implementing the Active Learning learning model can increase students' learning activities in learning science and science material to meet their living needs for class IV SDN 81 Sipatana, Gorontalo City. Data analysis in the research used descriptive percentage formulas for teacher activities and student activities. This can be seen from the increase in each cycle, namely in cycle I getting teacher activity 73.3%, student activity getting 66.6%, and increasing again in cycle II getting teacher activity 83.3%, and student activity getting 80.9% . So it can be concluded that implementing Active Learning can increase students' learning activities in science and science learning material to meet the life needs of class IV SDN 81 Sipatana, Gorontalo City.Keywords: Active Learning, Learning Activities, Materials to Meet My Life Needs  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 81 Sipatana Kota Gorontalo melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Active Learning tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 81 Sipatana Kota Gorontalo, jumlah siswa tahun ajaran 2023-2024 sebanyak 21 siswa yang terdiri dari perempuan 9 dan 12 laki-laki. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dan 4 tahap yang mengacu pada model Kemmis and Taggart yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Active Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS materi memenuhi kebutuhan hidupku kelas IV SDN 81 Sipatana Kota Gorontalo. Analisis data pada penelitian menggunakan rumus deskrptif presentase untuk aktivitas guru, dan aktivitas siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan tiap siklus yakni pada siklus I memperoleh aktivitas guru 73,3%, aktivitas siswa memperoleh  66,6%, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II memperoleh aktivitas guru 83,3%, dan aktivitas Siswa memperoleh 80,9%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa mengimplementasikan pembelajaran Active Learning dapat meningkatkan Aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS materi memenuhi kebutuhan hidupku kelas IV SDN 81 Sipatana Kota Gorontalo. Kata Kunci: Active Learning, Aktivitas Belajar, Materi Memenuhi Kebutuhan Hidupku.

Abstract

AbstractThe expected aim of conducting this research is to determine the application of the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of video in improving student learning outcomes in Class IV Science and Technology subjects at SDN 9 Limboto. The type of research used in this research is the classroom action research approach. Classroom action research is research where the root of the problem arises in the classroom and is known to the teacher. This research was conducted to improve or overcome problems encountered during the learning process. Students in following the learning process using demonstration methods assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos show positive results. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in science and science subjects have increased after going through the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos which can be seen from the pre-test average score of 57.68 with a learning completion percentage of 37%, test questions in cycle I average score- an average of 64.56 with a learning completeness percentage of 56%, up to the second cycle test questions the average score was 76.68 with a learning completeness percentage of 87%. The application of the Demonstration Method Assisted by Audiovisual Media in the form of Video can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in the science and sciences subject at SDN 9 Limboto. Abstract

Music is a body-based artistic expression. The music consists of loops or feedback or feedback hide, listen and hide again. Making music is equivalent to talking to the body. The art of music has a vital role in various levels of society, considering that music is a very effective medium as an entertainer and messenger. The method used in this study is library research with the type of Systematic Literature Review (SLR), where researchers want to systematically and in-depth compile empirical evidence that has been found and published by previous researchers to be used to provide a complete interpretation of the research results. The art of music is an expression through the sound and rhythm of a tone. The function of the art of music is to build creativity that contains the value of harmony and discipline in the form of notes that have a good deal. In addition, Music Arts discusses how musical notes are made and different types of music, such as vocal and instrumental. Looking at this concept of music gives us a more general understanding of music, and the art of music is a work of art. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan membaca permulaan, penerapan model direct instruction berbasis media kartu, dan peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SDN 50 Bulu Datu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik persentase untuk mengidentifikasi kecenderungan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Guna mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan maka digunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes tulis, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat 3 siswa yang memenuhi nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan nilai ≥35, sementara 19 siswa atau 86% lainnya masih belum memenuhi nilai rata-rata ketuntasan kemampuan membaca. Penerapan model direct instruction berbasis media kartu membuat siswa semangat dan memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan memberikan instruksi yang jelas dan dukungan visual yang efektif, sesuai dengan teori yang mendukung penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran.
