Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance at KFC Alam Sutera. The method used is simple linear regression with a quantitative approach, involving a sample of 35 respondents from KFC Alam Sutera employees. The results show that Work Motivation has a significant effect on Employee Performance, with a t-value of 5.328 and a significance level of < 0.001. The F-test indicates that the model is statistically significant overall (F = 28.388; Sig < 0.001). The R Square value of 0.462 indicates that 46.2% of the variation in employee performance is explained by work motivation. Keywords: Work Motivation, Employee Performance, Simple Linear Regression

Abstract

The hospitality industry depends on employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB) to remain competitive, yet prior studies offer fragmented insights into its drivers, dimensions, benefits, and challenges. This study conducts a systematic review of 64 articles (2019–2024) from Scopus and Web of Science using the PRISMA approach. Results show that organizational support, creativity, leadership styles, knowledge sharing, and motivation foster IWB in hotels, with dimensions covering idea generation, promotion, development, and implementation. IWB enhances performance, customer satisfaction, and competitiveness but faces challenges such as limited resources, leadership constraints, and high turnover. This study integrates recent evidence to provide a comprehensive understanding of IWB and practical implications for managers, policymakers, and researchers.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the increase in basic food (sembako) prices that pressures the purchasing power of middle-to-lower-income households in Kelurahan Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of rising food commodity prices on consumer purchasing power. The study applied a quantitative approach with a survey method and simple linear regression analysis. Data were obtained from 58 housewives through questionnaires. The instruments were declared valid, reliable, and fulfilled classical assumption tests. The results show that the increase in sembako prices has a significant effect on consumer purchasing power (sig. 0.000 < 0.05; t-count 5.245 > t-table 1.673). Shallots were identified as the most affected commodity, followed by garlic, chili, and eggs. The discussion reveals that households respond by reducing purchase volumes, seeking cheaper alternatives, and adjusting their budgets to maintain economic stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment on employee performance at Bank Mayapada Salemba Jakarta. A quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique was used, involving 78 employees. Data analysis employed simple linear regression. The results show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicated by a regression equation of Y = 4.531 + 0.896X. The t-count value of 18.438 > t-table 1.665 with a significance level of <0.05 proves that the work environment significantly affects employee performance. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.817, meaning that 81.7% of employee performance variation can be explained by the work environment, while the remaining 18.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on the calculation results of the data, the positive influence of Work Quality on the Performance of Police Personnel was obtained with a partial value of 0.918, meaning there is a very strong influence or influence with a coefficient of determination of 84.3%. This is proven by the hypothesis test of the Work Quality variable on the Performance of Police Personnel, the value of to = 13.352> t0.05 (61) = 1.670, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a very significant influence. Based on the calculation results, there is a positive influence of Work Motivation on the Performance of Police Personnel, the partial value of 0.843 is obtained, meaning there is a very strong influence or influence with a coefficient of determination of 71.1%. This is proven by the hypothesis test of the Work Motivation variable on the Performance of Police Personnel, the value of to = 6.917> t0.05 (61) = 1.670, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a significant influence. Simultaneously there is a positive influence of the variables of Work Quality and Work Motivation on the variable of Police Personnel Performance with a simultaneous correlation value or Model Summary producing an R value of 0.916 and while the R Square value is 0.839 or 83.9%, this can be stated that the results of the analysis together the variables of Work Quality and Work Motivation on the variable of Police Personnel Performance have a very strong influence. Proven through the results of the F test (ANOVA) or F count obtained a value of 382,889 which is greater than F table (62) of 2.760 with a significant level of 0.000 because 0.000 <0.05, then it can be said that the variables of Work Quality and Work Motivation together or simultaneously on Police Personnel Performance have a very significant influence.
