Abstract

Problem-solving abilities and student learning outcomes are essential things to pay attention to in learning. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of applying the Creative Problem-Solving model assisted by the mind mapping method in improving problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes in tax administration subjects with the subject matter of Corporate Income Tax payable. The research was carried out using the classroom action research method in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings, divided into four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were students of XI AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar, totalling 33 students. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and tests. The percentage of the average value of problem-solving ability in cycle I was 60.60% and increased in cycle II to 88.75%. Meanwhile, for student learning outcomes in cycle I, the percentage of classical completion was 48.4%; in cycle II, it increased to 100%. So, the Creative Problem-Solving model assisted by the Mind Mapping method can improve problem-solving abilities and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems that occur in the field such as limited learning media at school, and students do not pay attention to the teacher when explaining, there is a lack of interest and will lead to low student learning outcomes in participating in learning, passive students when given questions by the teacher which will have an impact on the decline in student learning outcomes, cool with themselves and chatting with their peers. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the influence of Domath (Domino mathematic) media on fraction material on the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 14 Koto Baru. The type of research used is quantitative using experimental research methods. This research used the form of one group pretest-postest design this design uses one group, namely the experimental class. The post-test results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, where from the pre-test average of 59.736 it increased to 77.368 in the post-test results. In addition, there was a change in the number of students who were complete and incomplete. Students who completed the pre-test were 8 students and increased in the posttest to 16 out of 19 students. These results were followed by the acquisition of excellent post-test scores, where the highest score reached 90 and the lowest score was 55. These learning outcomes show the difference between before treatment and after treatment.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the PjBL  learning model in science and science learning Chapter 5. Using the classroom action research method (PTK). The data analyzed in this research is the application of  student activity data and student learning outcomes data. The student activity observation data in cycle I obtained a success percentage of 54.376%, the student activity observation data in cycle II obtained a success percentage of 73.953%, and the student observation data in cycle III obtained a success percentage of 92.083%. Data on precycle learning outcomes obtained a completion percentage of 6.7% of students who completed 1 child and 14 students who did not complete. These learning outcomes are still below the minimum completeness criteria level. To improve student learning outcomes, researchers conducted research using the application of the PjBL learning model. The learning outcomes obtained from precycle to cycle I experienced an increase in the percentage of completion of 34% with, there were 5 students who had completed and 10 students who had not completed. In cycle II there was an increase in the completion percentage of 54%, there were 8 students who had completed and 7 students who had not completed. In cycle III there was an increase in the percentage of completion of 100%, there were 15 students who completed the class IV total of 15 students. Can be concluded that the application of the PjBL learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV UPT SDN 2 Bajingjowo students.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe (1) the effectiveness of Missouri Mathematics Project learning with problem solving approach on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students, (2) the effectiveness of Missouri Mathematics Project learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students, and (3) the differences of effectiveness of MMP-PS learning with MMP on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students. This research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of research. The effectiveness of MMP-PS and MMP learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills used one sample t test. The differences of effectiveness of MMP-PS learning with MMP on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students were analyzed using MANOVA. The results of the study indicate that MMP-PS learning is effective in independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students. MMP learning is ineffective on independent learning, but it is effective for mathematical communication skills. In addition, there are differences of effectiveness between MMP-PS and MMP learning on independent learning and students' mathematical communication skills. The results of further tests indicate that Missouri Mathematics Project learning with a problem solving approach is more effective than Missouri Mathematics Project learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology is one of the technologies that must be developed in the world of education. This research uses a qualitative method by taking a descriptive approach. The research instrument in this study is the researcher himself by observing, asking, listening, requesting and collecting research data by using a cellphone as a tool to record all conversations, resulting images as real evidence, and a notebook which functions to record conversations with the data source or informant. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research and discussion concluded that: first, the use of information and communication technology at SMP N 1 Gomo school, namely, by integrating information and communication technology into the school curriculum. This is done by teachers and students to facilitate the learning process more effectively by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) as a tool to support learning in various subjects. Second, the importance of (ICT) in learning is very influential, with the presence of (ICT) in schools teachers and students can quickly interact in the teaching and learning process. Then there, the use of information technology as a student learning resource is reflected in its use as a learning resource at home and its use in the learning process. Third, efforts to overcome obstacles to the use of ICT in schools are:

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) outbreak has changed the pattern of human activity, including the world of education. Face-to-face learning that is commonly used now must be replaced with online learning. This study aims to offer a new media in history learning, both in the scope of formal and non-formal education. The media in question is E-Magazine Time in digital form, containing all historical events that are arranged sequentially and briefly and fulfills the concept of space and time in a historical sense. E-Magazine Time is allegedly a new learning media that researchers are trying to offer to the world of education, especially learning that is carried out through electronic and online media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Decide, Design, Development, and Evaluation (DDD-E) model. The decision-making stage is trying to do field observations and literature studies. After that, they carried out the design stage to describe the learning content. Development is the process of making E-Magazine Time learning media using the Canva application with the help of Heyzine Flipbook. And the last stage is an evaluation which includes learning material experts, media experts, and students' rights to produce appropriate learning media. After passing the exam, the eligible E-Magazine Time is declared to be applicable in history learning for all levels of education, both in the realm of formal and non-formal education.
