Abstract

This study analyzes the lyrics of the song "Komang" by Raim Laode through an expressive approach, examining how the lyrics express the emotions and meanings contained therein. The analysis focuses on the use of diction, metaphors, and images that build the atmosphere and convey the personal message of the songwriter. The results of the analysis show that "Komang" expresses deep longing, affection, and appreciation for the figure of "Komang" who is personified as something valuable and gives peace. The expressive approach allows for a deeper understanding of Raim Laode's emotions and personal experiences as expressed in the lyrics of the song, beyond mere literal interpretation. This journal also discusses the implications of the expressive approach in understanding musical works of art, especially in the context of personal and emotional song lyrics.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to analyze and describe efforts to build basic education that has a democratic nuance and is based on the principles of human rights (HAM). This research aims to explore how the implementation of democracy and human rights education can be implemented in the basic education curriculum, by providing equal opportunities for every child to obtain a decent education. In this discussion, the analysis focuses on two main aspects, namely student-centered learning, which allows students to play an active role in the educational process, and the application of democratic values and human rights in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). The results of the analysis show that education that has a democratic nuance and is based on human rights can create an inclusive environment, respect differences, and encourage students' awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens. With this approach, it is hoped that a generation will be created that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has high social awareness of democratic values and human rights.

Abstract

Democracy and human rights (HAM) education are important components in building a just and civilized society. In the context of the world of education, a strong understanding of the principles of democracy and human rights not only strengthens individual character, but also increases social and political awareness. This article discusses the importance of integrating democracy and human rights education in the education curriculum, as well as its impact on forming a generation that is aware of their rights and obligations as citizens.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what aspects are used in scout learning, to find out the methods used in scout learning, to find out the form of evaluation used in scout learning so that scouting education is achieved or implemented at SDN 2 Bagik Payung. The scouting method is a reference used in scouting education that is interesting, challenging and fun so that learning objectives are achieved. Scouting methods are carried out holistically and are not separated in their application. The results of the research found that the method used for scout learning at SDN 2 Bagik Payung was learning while practicing. This method is used as a reference for use in scouting education that is interesting, challenging and fun so that learning objectives are achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in gross motor skills in children aged 4-5 years through jumping rope games at PAUD Sarpisa Center Kec. North Galela. This research is Classroom Action Research (collaborative) which consists of two cycles and four meetings. The researcher acts as a teacher who carries out the learning scenario, while the collaborator is an assistant class teacher who acts as an observer. The research subjects were 9 children in class A PAUD Sarpisa Center, consisting of 4 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques are observation and field notes. The research instrument used an observation sheet in the form of a check list of children's gross motor skills. The collected data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this research show that there is an increase in children's gross motor skills through the jump rope game at PAUD Sarpisa Center. The increase in children's gross motor skills in cycle I was 55.5% or 5 children out of 9 children were in the criteria of very good, good, strong and balanced, there was an increase in cycle II, namely 88.9% or 8 children out of 9 children were in the criteria of very good and is good for strength and balance. Thus, the jump rope game can improve gross motor skills in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Sarpisa Center Kec. North Galela.

Abstract

Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Lentera Pustaka in Sukaluyu Village is a community-based literacy initiative that implements the TaBa (Reading Garden) and KePra (Illiteracy Eradication Class) programs. This study aims to examine the role of TBM in enhancing literacy and fostering social empowerment within the community. Employing a qualitative approach and a case study method, with the researcher acting as an observer, this research explores the impact of TBM’s programs. The findings indicate that TBM Lentera Pustaka significantly contributes to increasing reading interest, broadening knowledge, and developing character, particularly among children and adults. The success of these programs is supported by interactive learning methods, the active participation of volunteers, and growing community engagement. These findings affirm that community-based literacy movements can serve as effective instruments for social empowerment, fostering positive transformation at the grassroots level.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the factors causing the lack of interest in studying in class IV students at UPTD SDN Wanamekar 3. Interest in learning is an important aspect in education that influences how students participate and achieve maximum learning outcomes. Based on the results of interviews with the homeroom teacher, it was found that the obstacles to students' interest in learning were influenced by external and internal factors. External factors include a less supportive home environment, such as lack of discipline and parental involvement. Meanwhile, internal factors include students' motivation, self-confidence and personal interests. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results of this research show that to increase interest in learning, teachers need to remind students about class agreements, apply appropriate learning strategies, and create an atmosphere that supports the development of student motivation and self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between Basic Mathematical Knowledge (BMK) and students' epistemological beliefs and interest in learning mathematics among seventh-grade students at MTs Negeri 3 Konawe. Descriptive analysis and multivariate regression were employed as the research methods. The findings indicate that students’ BMK is relatively high, with an average score of 27.48 out of a maximum of 32. Furthermore, students demonstrated positive epistemological beliefs and a good level of interest in learning mathematics. However, regression analysis revealed that BMK does not have a significant effect on epistemological beliefs (regression coefficient = -0.053; p = 0.821) or on interest in learning mathematics (regression coefficient = -0.309; p = 0.342). These results suggest that affective factors, learning experiences, and learning environments play a more substantial role in shaping students' beliefs and interests than basic cognitive knowledge. Therefore, the study recommends implementing more contextual and affective-based learning approaches to foster students’ motivation and beliefs in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on student learning outcomes in the elasticity material at MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor for the 2022/2023 academic year ".This study uses an experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Design, which only provides a post-test at the end of the treatment. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor. Meanwhile, the samples in this study were class XI IPA 1 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 3 as the control group. The two samples were randomly selected using the Cluster Random Sampling (Area Sampling) technique. The experimental group was taught physics using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model with the help of Student Worksheets (LKPD) and the control group was taught physics using the conventional model.The research data were analyzed using two-party t-test. Based on the research results obtained 〖 t〗_hitung (4,513)>t_tabel (1,998) at a significant level of 0.05. Because〖 t〗_hitung>t_tabel, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus,it can be concluded that there is an effect of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model assisted by Student Worksheets on student learning material at MA Mu’allimat NWDI Pancor in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary speech acts used by students (santri) in their daily interactions at the dormitory of Pondok Pesantren Tahfizul Qur’an Husnul Abror. The research employs a pragmatic approach with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through participant observation and documentation of natural utterances occurring in various contexts, such as mealtime, study sessions, worship activities, and peer interactions. The results indicate that the students utilize various types of illocutionary acts, particularly assertives, directives, and commissives. Assertive acts are used to convey information or opinions, directive acts to give commands or make requests, and commissive acts to express promises or commitments. The students' language choices reflect the unique linguistic environment of the pesantren, combining Indonesian, local languages (such as Sasak), and Arabic expressions. These findings reveal that student communication in the dormitory serves not only as a means of interaction but also as a reflection of their social, religious, and cultural values. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of language practices in Islamic boarding schools and enrich the field of pragmatic studies in Indonesia.
