Abstract

Guru Onyeh novel by Salman Faris is a portrait of the life of the Sasak people depicted through the character of Guru Onyeh who is experiencing social backwardness. Based on this, it can be formulated as follows: (1). How is the image of Guru Onyeh in Guru Onyeh novel by Salman Faris?. (2). How is the struggle of the Sasak people in Guru Onyeh novel by Salman Faris?. (3). How is the life of the Sasak people in Guru Onyeh novel which is a metaphor for the life of the Sasak people in reality?. The purpose of this research are: (1). To describe the figure of Guru Onyeh in Guru Onyeh novel by Salman Faris. (2). To describe the struggle of the Sasak people in Guru Onyeh novel by Salman Faris. (3). To describe the life of the Sasak people in Guru Onyeh novel which is a metaphor of the life of the Sasak people in reality. This research is literature research with qualitative interpretative method. Data are obtained and collected through primary and secondary data sources. The data obtained are explained by descriptive interpretative method. This research uses Charles Sanders Peirce semiotic theory. The results of this study show that the character of Guru Onyeh in the novel has good character. The character description is a diagrammatic icon and an imagi icon (image) that tells the life of the character of Guru Onyeh and describes the character or character of Guru Onyeh. In addition, Guru Onyeh struggle in the novel is a diagrammatic icon and an imagi icon (image) for the struggle to organize the life of the Sasak people. All events or events occurring in Guru Onyeh novel are a metaphorical icon for the life of the Sasak community in the real world. Furthermore, the story of Guru Onyeh novel is an index for the sociocultural life of the Sasak people, that is, the novel story is a sign of real life. In addition, Guru Onyeh novel is a social critique. That is, the novel story comes as a form of criticism against the Sasak community and the ruler.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak kelompok B melalui kegiatan tanaman biji kacang hijau di PAUD Al-Hamzar Lokok Aur Tahun 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang di laksanakan melalui peroses dua siklus. Adapun data dalam penelitian ini data dari hasil aktivitas kegiatan belajar peserta didik yang di peroleh dari hasil observasi selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung dan data ketrampilan berbicara peserta didik yang di peroleh dari penilaian produk/unjuk kerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kegiatan menanam biji kacang hijau dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak kelompok B PAUD Al-Hamzar Lokok Aur. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan menanam biji kacang hijau dapat meningkatkan sosial emosional anak kelompok B di PAUD Al-Hamzar Lokok Aur. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari kegiatan pembelajaran anak didik pada tindakan siklus I mengalami peningkatan dari angka 50,72% pada kategori kurang aktif, menjadi 81,9% pada kategori aktif pada tindakan siklus II. Sedangkan penilaian secara klasikal meningkat dari 50% pada siklus I dengan kategori anak  BSH, pada tindakan siklus II 83,33% dengan kategori anak BSB.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to analyze and describe efforts to build basic education that has a democratic nuance and is based on the principles of human rights (HAM). This research aims to explore how the implementation of democracy and human rights education can be implemented in the basic education curriculum, by providing equal opportunities for every child to obtain a decent education. In this discussion, the analysis focuses on two main aspects, namely student-centered learning, which allows students to play an active role in the educational process, and the application of democratic values and human rights in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). The results of the analysis show that education that has a democratic nuance and is based on human rights can create an inclusive environment, respect differences, and encourage students' awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens. With this approach, it is hoped that a generation will be created that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has high social awareness of democratic values and human rights.

Abstract

Democracy and human rights (HAM) education are important components in building a just and civilized society. In the context of the world of education, a strong understanding of the principles of democracy and human rights not only strengthens individual character, but also increases social and political awareness. This article discusses the importance of integrating democracy and human rights education in the education curriculum, as well as its impact on forming a generation that is aware of their rights and obligations as citizens.

Abstract

Early marriage is a social problem that occurs very often both in urban and rural areas, including in Pendua Village. The aim of this community service is to convey about the disadvantages and negative impacts of early marriage. Through outreach using early marriage educational film screening techniques, it is hoped that it will provide awareness for middle-level students to local communities regarding the impact of early marriage. The method applied is socialization by showing educational films related to early marriage. The targets of this socialization are middle-level students in Pendua Village. The results of socialization show that early marriage has more negative impacts on both the bride and groom and their future offspring. From these outreach efforts, it is hoped that there will be increased awareness among students and the public regarding the negative impacts of early marriage and strengthen support for preventive measures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek psikologi pengarang yang ada dalam novel Cermin Cinta karya N. Riantiarno. Di dalam mengetahui aspek psikologi pengarang dalam novel peneliti menggunakan metode deskriftif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah novel Cermin Cinta karya N. Riantiarno, sumber data yang dipakai menggunakan sumber data yang berasal dari novel Cermin Cinta karya N. Riantiarno dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan metode telaah. Secara psikologi dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel ini memiliki tema tentang persahabatan dan cinta segitiga, alur dalam novel menggunakan alur campuran. Tokoh yang ada dalam novel yaitu terdiri dari tokoh utama dan tokoh tambahan. Secara umum aspek psikologi dalam novel Cermin Cinta karya N.Riantiarno terdiri dari aspek psikologi pengarang yang mencakup faktor-faktor psikologi yang mempengaruhi karya seorang pengarang dan cara seorang pengarang menyampaikan kondisi jiwanya melalui seorang tokoh. Dari Hasil analisis Psikologi novel Cermin Cinta karya N. Riantiarno diketahui bahwa faktor psikologi yang mempengaruhi karya seorang pengarang adalah faktor memori yang mencakup pikiran, perasaan, intuisi, dan sensasi dan juga faktor emosi serta perilaku pengarang. Aspek psikologi pengarang dalam novel ini sebagian besar diambil dari kondisi kejiwaan pengarang sendiri, seperti kondisi kejiwaan pengarang ketika menciptakan sebuah karya sastra, baik itu menyenangkan atau menyedihkan, kemudian kondisi emosi pengarang dan prilaku dari pengarang itu sendiri, semuanya oleh pengarang dikemas dan dimasukkan dalam bentuk cerita yang dapat mempengaruhi psikologi pembaca.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the syllable method on the basic literacy skills of grade 2 students at SDN 1 pemenang Barat, Academic Year 2023/2024. The syllable method is a learning approach that focuses on understanding and using syllables in reading and writing. The research was conducted by involving 2nd grade students as research subjects. This research consists of a bound variable, namely the syllable method and an independent variable, namely literacy ability. Data collection in this study uses primary data in the form of student pretest and posttest results. which was analyzed using descriptive and inferential quantitative analysis with the help of SPSS 25. In this study, the researcher used a saturated sample or the entire population with a total of 49 grade 2 students as a sample in one group in the experimental class. The results of this study were obtained using the t paired sample t test using SPSS 25 and showed that the syllable method had a positive and significant influence on the learning outcomes of grade 2 students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the literacy program in improving the reading skills of low-grade students at SDN 1 Santong Mulia. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects included low-grade teachers, students in grades I and II, and the principal. The results showed that the literacy program is implemented through reading activities 15 minutes before lessons, providing a reading corner in the classroom, reading picture storybooks together, and parents' involvement in accompanying children to read at home. The impact of the implementation of this literacy program can be seen in the increase in students' interest in reading, ability to recognize letters and words, and understanding of the content of simple reading. In addition, students become more active in reading aloud and are able to retell the content of the story. Although there are some obstacles such as limited book collections and limited time for individual assistance, in general the literacy program has made a positive contribution in improving the reading skills of low-grade students. This study recommends that the literacy program continue to be developed and supported by all school parties and parents so that the results achieved can be maximized.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in class IV B SDN 7 Sambik Bangkol in participating in the learning process. This can be seen from the lack of active participation of students during learning activities, such as not doing assignments, often playing when the teacher explains, and often coming late. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of rewards and punishments in increasing student learning motivation and its impact on student behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of class IV B students, homeroom teachers, and school principals. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of rewards such as verbal praise, giving stickers, and simple gifts can increase students' enthusiasm for learning. Punishments that are educational in nature such as reprimands and additional assignments are also effective in shaping student discipline. There are changes in student behavior in a more positive direction after the implementation of the reward and punishment system, such as increased attendance, discipline, and activeness in learning. This research suggests that teachers should be more consistent in applying rewards and punishments fairly and sustainably, as well as involving students in the implementation of rewards and punishments. such as increased attendance, discipline, and activeness in learning.
