Abstract

This study aimed to identify the most important attributes of pindang cuisine based on consumer preferences in Palembang. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach to examine the characteristics and responses of consumers regarding the purchase of Pindang. The data used in this study consisted of primary data collected through an online questionnaire distributed by Google Forms. The questionnaire was distributed between December 2025 to February 2026. The research instrument comprised a structured questionnaire divided into three main sections: respondent profile, pindang purchase behavior, and consumer preference attributes. Consumer preferences for each pindang attribute were determined using a weighted scoring method based on a Likert-scale score. This study involved 356 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on predefined inclusion criteria. Eligible participants were individuals who had purchased or consumed pindang at a pindang restaurant in Palembang within the six months preceding the survey. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling through an online survey. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively by calculating the frequency, percentage, and average values of the respondents’ answers. The result showed that RM. PMR achieved the highest consumer preference score among pindang restaurants in Palembang. This preference is likely associated with its high popularity and strong appeal among consumers. Fish was the main ingredient in pindang at 60.4%, with river catfish (Pangasius pangasius) being the most dominant species at 48.9%. The fish body was the most preferred part because it has thick flesh, a uniform texture, is easy to eat, and has a richer flavor. The health aspect received the highest perception score of 4.92, while taste was the most dominant sensory attribute with a score of 4.92. Additionally, the product factor received the highest importance score with a score of 4.80, indicating that product quality was the primary determinant of consumer evaluations and satisfaction

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the SIAGA application as an internal digital system in a public transportation organization, PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), and analyzes employees' work adaptation from the developer's perspective. The study focuses on user adaptation, implementation challenges, and developer strategies supporting changes in daily work practices. A qualitative case study approach was employed. Data was collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with two key informants from the developer team (Project Manager and IT Manager), supported by document analysis. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify user adaptation processes, implementation challenges, and developer support strategies. Findings show that user adaptation occurred gradually. Initial responses were positive due to organizational support and a predominantly young workforce; however, adaptation was also influenced by structural obligations that integrated the application into daily work routines. Implementation challenges were mainly technical and organizational, including data integration limitations, inter-unit coordination, and system adjustments. Developers played a critical role in sustaining system use through training, technical assistance, and continuous improvement. This study is limited to the developer's perspective and a small number of informants. Future research should incorporate users from different organizational levels to provide a more comprehensive understanding. The study highlights the importance of developer support, user training, and gradual system integration in implementing internal digital applications in public sector organizations.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of location, service quality, and product quality on customer loyalty at Gerobakmie, a local culinary business in Jambi City. Customer loyalty is a critical issue for local food businesses because intense competition requires firms to retain customers through more than product taste alone. A quantitative survey approach was employed, involving 240 Gerobakmie customers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The findings show that location, service quality, and product quality have positive and significant effects on customer loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. Service quality has the strongest influence, followed by product quality and location. The model explains 63.6% of the variation in customer loyalty, indicating that these three variables are important determinants of repeat purchase, customer recommendation, and emotional attachment. The results suggest that customer loyalty in local culinary businesses is shaped not only by taste, but also by accessibility, responsive service, and consistent product quality. Practically, Gerobakmie should improve service reliability, maintain taste consistency, strengthen product standardization, and enhance location-related convenience such as visibility and parking access. This study contributes to marketing management literature by providing empirical evidence on customer loyalty formation in a local culinary business context

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial leadership and digitalization on work motivation and sustainable employee performance, and to explore the mediating role of work motivation in the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and digitalization on sustainable employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 98 respondents in the Head Administration Bureau of the Jambi Provincial Secretariat. The collected data will be analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS software. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Entrepreneurial Leadership, Digitalization, and Work Motivation in the Head Administration Bureau of the Jambi Provincial Secretariat are generally in the very good category, while sustainable employee performance is in the good category with a positive tendency. Although entrepreneurial leadership does not directly have a significant effect on sustainable employee performance, this variable is proven to have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, which in turn is able to improve employee performance sustainably. Meanwhile, digitalization is proven to have a positive and significant influence both directly and indirectly on sustainable employee performance, as well as significantly increasing employee work motivation. Furthermore, work motivation plays an important role as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of entrepreneurial leadership and digitalization on sustainable employee performance, so that increasing work motivation becomes a strategic key in encouraging sustainable employee performance at the Leadership Administration Bureau of the Jambi Provincial Secretariat.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of environmental performance and financial performance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure among consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2022–2024. Environmental performance was measured using the PROPER (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup) rating system, while financial performance was proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). CSR disclosure was measured using the GRI 4 framework. Using a purposive sampling technique, 24 companies were selected, yielding 72 observations. After outlier removal and data transformation, 57 valid observations were analysed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 27. Results showed that environmental performance and financial performance did not simultaneously exert a significant effect on CSR disclosure. The model explained only 7.7% of CSR disclosure variation (R² = 0.077), suggesting that institutional pressure, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder legitimacy are more decisive drivers of CSR disclosure than environmental or financial performance alone.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Online Game Usage and Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance and investigates the moderating role of Transformational Leadership. The research involved Millennial and Generation Z employees at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Jambi. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS. The findings show that Online Game Usage has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, indicating that controlled gaming undertaken at appropriate times may coexist with effective work performance. Transformational Leadership also has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance by strengthening employee motivation, encouraging new ideas, and supporting individual development. However, Transformational Leadership does not significantly moderate the relationship between Online Game Usage and Employee Performance. This indicates that leadership contributes directly to performance, whereas the consequences of online gaming are primarily determined by employees’ timing, motivation, and personal control. The study highlights the importance of strengthening transformational leadership practices while encouraging responsible digital behavior among employees. Abstract

Bureaucratic simplification through the structural-to-functional position equivalency policy represents one of the most transformative civil service reforms in Indonesia. This study examines the extent to which this policy has optimized the duties, functions, and career development of nine civil servants at the Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Daerah (BKPSDMD) Kota Jambi who underwent the equivalency process. Employing a qualitative descriptive case study design, data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with all nine transitioned officials, two HR managers, and the agency head, supplemented by three months of non-participant observation and systematic documentary analysis of performance records from 2020 to 2023. The findings indicate that while the initial transition period generated genuine challenges—including role ambiguity, loss of formal managerial authority, career pathway uncertainty, technical competency gaps, and psychological adjustment to perceived status change—these difficulties were confined to the first three to six months and proved entirely surmountable. Once officials adapted to their functional roles, performance outcomes improved markedly: the proportion rated 'Good' or 'Very Good' rose from 56 percent pre-transition to 89 percent post-adaptation. Career development engagement also intensified, with annual training participation increasing by 65 percent, the domain-specific technical training share rising from 33 percent to 69 percent, and eight of nine officials on track for functional grade promotion within three years. The study concludes that the equivalency policy has fulfilled its core objectives at BKPSDMD Kota Jambi, and that the quality of institutional transition support—particularly peer mentoring, targeted technical training, and individualized career counseling—is the decisive factor determining the speed and quality of adaptation outcomes.

Abstract

While employee wellbeing is recognized as a crucial element in the workplace, the psychological mechanism, particularly the mediating role of knowledge sharing, that links it to employee performance remains underexplored. This study aims to examine the effect of employee wellbeing on performance, with knowledge sharing as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing structured questionnaires to 217 banking employees in Jakarta. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that employee wellbeing and knowledge sharing have a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the Sobel test confirms that knowledge sharing significantly mediates the relationship between employee wellbeing and employee performance. These findings demonstrate that wellbeing does not automatically translate into high performance solely through individual effort, but rather operates through a social mechanism where positive psychological conditions drive knowledge exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that encourage and hinder the acceptance of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the KCBN (Kawasan Cagar Budaya Nasional Jambi), Muarajambi Compound Temple (MCT). The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The results showed that directly perceived benefits, visitors' need for non-cash payments, and initial socialization and assistance from related parties drove QRIS acceptance. Conversely, QRIS acceptance was still hampered by internet network constraints, limited digital literacy, fear of making incorrect transactions, the habit of some consumers who still use cash, and limited follow-up technical assistance. From the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) perspective, perceived usefulness appears to be more dominant than perceived ease of use. Meanwhile, according to the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions shape QRIS acceptance among MSMEs. These findings suggest that QRIS is more likely to be accepted when its benefits are clearly felt. However, more consistent use still depends on user readiness, technical support, and on-the-ground infrastructure conditions

Abstract

Digital transformation in public sector organizations requires not only technological adoption but also employees’ active engagement in digitally mediated work. This study examines the effects of technological infrastructure on digital leadership, digital readiness, digital work engagement, and employee performance in public sector organizations. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using survey data from 182 public sector employees. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that technological infrastructure has a strong positive effect on digital leadership, digital readiness, and digital work engagement. However, digital leadership and digital readiness do not directly improve employee performance. Digital work engagement emerges as the strongest predictor of employee performance and the only significant mediator linking technological infrastructure to employee performance. These findings indicate that technological infrastructure generates performance value when it fosters employees’ enthusiasm, focus, dedication, and active involvement in digital work. The study contributes to public sector digital transformation literature by positioning digital work engagement as the central behavioral mechanism through which technological infrastructure is converted into employee performance. Practically, public organizations should move beyond technology provision and design digital work environments that enhance employees’ engagement with digital systems
