Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial factor in enhancing students' understanding of a subject, including Islamic Cultural History (SKI). However, at MAN 1 Tabalong, many students are less motivated to learn SKI due to conventional and less interactive teaching methods. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational game-based learning models in increasing students' motivation in SKI subjects. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to students and SKI teachers at MAN 1 Tabalong. The data analysis technique includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results indicate that implementing educational game-based learning models, such as role-playing, interactive quizzes, and historical simulations, significantly enhances students' interest, engagement, and willingness to learn further. Students become more enthusiastic about participating in learning activities and grasp Islamic history materials more easily. Moreover, this method also improves students' social skills and critical thinking abilities. In conclusion, educational game-based learning models effectively enhance students' learning motivation in SKI subjects at MAN 1 Tabalong. Therefore, this method can serve as an alternative for educators to create more engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Abstract

This research is based on the Al- Islam Kambitin Agricultural Technology Islamic boarding school which implements agribusiness- based entrepreneurship education which has a big impact and benefits for the Islamic boarding school and is one of the contributions to completing the kitchen needs and funding of the Islamic boarding school. The aim of this research is to understand the management of Islamic boarding schools in developing agribusiness-based entrepreneurship at the Al- Islam Kambitin Agricultural Technology Islamic Boarding School and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of research uses field research and a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were Islamic boarding school caregivers, guidance teachers and santri. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and verification. From the research results, it can be seen that Islamic boarding school management in developing agribusiness- based entrepreneurship at the Al- Islam Kambitin Agricultural Technology Islamic Boarding School applies management functions, namely, planning, organizing, mobilizing and supervising. The planning process is carried out through implementing work programs, goals and benefits, up to program targets, carrying out organization by assigning ustaz and santri to assigned tasks according to ability, carrying out mobilization by providing motivation and carrying out supervision and assessment once or twice a month. The supporting factors for agribusiness- based entrepreneurship are weather and human resources, while the inhibiting factors are support from ustad, ustazah, and Islamic boarding school leaders.

Abstract

Digital literacy is the ability to utilize various digital media. It influences learning outcomes by assessing the students' success level after participating in an educational activity. This study, conducted at SMKN 2 Bukittinggi, addresses issues such as moderate cognitive learning outcomes in the 10th-grade students due to an emphasis on intellectual behavior. Additionally, there's a lack of training from teachers or the school regarding digital literacy and insufficient student response to digital literacy education. The research aims to analyze digital literacy skills, Islamic Education learning outcomes, and the impact of digital literacy on student performance at SMN 2 Bukittinggi. The study follows a quantitative approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the research instrument. The informants are 10th-grade students in office management and business services classes.The research results indicate that 45% of students in the 2023/2024 academic year at SMKN2 Bukittinggi have high learning outcomes in Islamic Education. Digital literacy significantly and positively influences these outcomes, supported by a calculated T-value of 45.886 ≥ 1.66235 (table value), with a significance level of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. This rejects the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepts the alternative hypothesis (H1), meaning digital literacy has a positive and significant impact on student learning in Islamic Education at SMKN 2 Bukittinggi. Furthermore, the linear relationship between literacy and learning outcomes is confirmed by the linear test, where the obtained F-value is 0.9521 ≤ F-critical 3.96, and the significance level is 0.556 (≥ 0.05). Support for digital literacy in education can assist students in achieving better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: to determine the effect of learning using PowerPoint on interest in learning science in class V of YPPK Santa Maria Kukding Elementary School. The type of research carried out in this research is quantitative research. The design used in this research is Ex Post Facto Design with a quantitative approach. The independent variable in this research is Power Point media (X), the related variable in this research is students' learning interest in science content (Y). This research was carried out at YPPK Santa Maria Kukding Elementary School, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province. The population in this study was all 30 grade V students of YPPK Santa Maria Kukding Elementary School, Bintang Mountains Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t test (one simple T-test). Based on the results of data analysis, namely the value tcount> ttable (5.242> 1,734), with a significance level of 0.05, namely (0.000 < 0.05), the hypothesis is accepted, meaning it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of power point media on students' interest in learning. V SD YPPK Santa Maria Kukding, Bintang Mountains Regency”. Suggestions to teachers are that they should get used to using power point media to help increase students' interest in learning in the material being taught, especially for Relas V students at YPPK Santa Maria Kukding Elementary School, Bintang Mountains Regency

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education curriculum is still not fully successful in forming students who have strong faith and devotion to Allah Ta'ala. The shortcomings in the position of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in forming a complete Islamic personality in students are a factor that is noticed, whether realized or not. The Kuttab Imam Al Ghazali Sukabumi has a mission to restore the glory of science by implementing the faith and Qur'an curriculum. This study aims to describe how the faith and Qur'an curriculum at Kuttab Imam Al Ghazali Sukabumi is implemented to form faith characters. In this research, a qualitative case study method was used. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. From the results of the study, it was found that the curriculum used in Kuttab Imam Al Ghazali Sukabumi is the Qur'anic curriculum and the faith curriculum, which is also known as the first-century hijri curriculum or the prophet curriculum. In general, this curriculum emphasizes the concept and stages of faith before Qur'an and adab before knowledge, with Qur'an, sunnah. No significant obstacles were found in the implementation of this curriculum, in fact it can be said that the obstacles were very minimal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digital educational games in social studies learning in elementary schools. This research method uses a systematic literature review (SLR). The data analysis technique in this study is a study of indexed journal articles as a source of research data, especially in the scope of the effect of digital educational games in social studies learning in elementary schools. The results and conclusions of this study are that interactive digital educational game-based learning media have a positive impact on learning activities. However, this must also get support from many parties such as parents, principals, and facilities and infrastructure. To overcome this, teachers must work together with parents and principals in building learning infrastructure. The application of digital educational games can eliminate student boredom with social studies learning materials that are considered difficult to teach so that learning becomes effective and interesting.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and study Folklore Seting Pe-Gama Aning Duka Katwala in Maukuru Village, East Alor District, Alor Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with the research subjects are the elderly people in Maukuru Village. Data collection techniques through observation for eight meetings. Based on the purpose of this study to measure the level of knowledge about customs and culture, especially folklore in Maukuru Village. First, how is the level of knowledge in terms of customs, second so that we as Maukuru Village community members (generations) can know the existing folklore, and third how do we preserve existing culture and folklore. Data presentation is done by using words to take facts, variables and circumstances obtained during the research and explain the words obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the utilization of letter card media in improving the reading skills of early grade students at Kekajodho Catholic Elementary School. This type of research is qualitative research. With the object of research is early grade students in class 1 totaling 15 people. With the methods used in this study, namely observation, interviews and documentation of student interest in reading, letter shape recognition, and combining letter sounds into words in supporting the improvement of reading skills of early grade students. The results showed that there was an increase in reading skills of early grade students where letter cards not only helped students recognize letters and combine sounds into words, but also created an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. Students were more engaged in learning, and they showed improved reading skills after the implementation of this method. This study provides important insights into the effectiveness of visual media in learning to read and its implications for teaching practices in the early grades. This study recommends the use of letter cards as learning media to improve students' reading skills, as well as the need for training for teachers in applying this method optimally.

Abstract

Student delinquency in schools is a problem that affects the learning environment and students' character development. Islamic Counseling Guidance serves as a solution to address deviant behavior through an approach based on Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Counseling Guidance in handling student delinquency at SMAN 1 Tanta and to identify its effectiveness in shaping better student character. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews with counseling teachers and students, and documentation of counseling activities. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic Counseling Guidance is carried out through Islamic character development, an individualized counseling approach, religious activities, and collaboration with parents and teachers. The positive impacts of this program include a decrease in disciplinary violations, increased students' spiritual awareness, and improved relationships between students and teachers. However, challenges such as low student awareness and environmental influences remain obstacles in its implementation. In conclusion, Islamic Counseling Guidance is effective in addressing student delinquency at SMAN 1 Tanta through a more persuasive and religious approach. Innovative strategies and support from various stakeholders are needed to enhance the success of this program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the independence of personal hygiene of hands of intellectual disabilities students at SMPLB level in SKh Madina, Serang City, using the shaping techniques. This research is experimental research with a single subject research (SSR) approach with an A-B-A design. The subjects in this research were two SMPLB students with intellectual disabilities. The target behavior in this research is the ability to wash hands. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation and action tests. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis with graphic presentation. Based on the research results, the average result of the first subject's hand washing ability in the baseline-1 phase was 25%, while the result of the second subject was 31.25% because this phase was a natural condition before the intervention or treatment was given. In the intervention phase (B), the average data acquisition results were 85.05% for the first subject (H) and data acquisition was 87.14% for the second subject (I), these results were obtained after the subjects received the intervention. Meanwhile, in the baseline- 2 phase, the average data acquisition results were 68.75% for the first subject (H) and data acquisition was 75% for the second subject (I), these results were the natural results of the subjects after being given intervention or treatment. From the results of data obtained in this research, it can be concluded that the use of shaping techniques for intellectual disabilities students can increase the independence of personal hygiene of nails and hands of intellectual disabilities students at SMPLB level at SKh Madina, Serang City.
