Abstract

The development of social media or information media also has two sides that affect to each other positive or negative. Behavior that depends on social media needs, to forget the creator where these actions are included as a culture of shirk in seeing the sophistication of social media. The efforts of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) in higher education can provide innovative solutions in overcoming the cultures of shirk towards social media culture that has become a sense of addiction to the sophistication of social media. This research uses literature study research, where the process of collecting data from books or journal articles that are in accordance with the subject of research, namely about Islamic anthropology in AIK to prevent shirk culture in social media. The result of this study is that AIK can prevent the culture of shirk in social media by increasing the hours of faith courses. This is so that students are able to choose and filter what content can make themselves better in their religious knowledge so that they can stay away from content that contains shirk. In addition, there is an information fiqh course, so that students know the Islamic view of social media, are able to use social media wisely in accordance with Islamic views, students are able to filter incoming information and students’ tabayyun incoming information and are able to disseminate good information that does not contain shirk.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to uncover the educational ideas presented by Kiai Muhammad and their consistent application in LPI Darul Ulum Pondok Banyuanyar Pesantren Pamekasan, which is one of Indonesia's oldest Pesantrens, from the year 1980 to 2021. Additionally, the aim is to explore the significance of these ideas in the context of contemporary education. This study involves qualitative research using library and content analysis as an analysis technique to examine both primary and secondary data sources. The Primary data sources come from the written works of Kiai Muhammad, namely the book "Kalam Hikmah" while the secondary data sources are gathered from other relevant sources. The study reveals that Kiai Muhammad rendered 41 years of education service from 1980-2021. During this period, he accomplished remarkable feats by establishing Pesantren and formal educational institutions ranging from preschool up to college level. These institutions have proliferated both in the number of students and quality of education, attaining several recognitions and accolades at various levels. The foundation of Kiai Muhammad's educational work was based on two key concepts: nationality and science. The outcomes of these two ideas hold great significance for the current educational criteria established by the government, specifically, the 8 Standard Pendidikan Nasional (Eight National Educational Standards) that encompass aspects such as content, process, graduate competence, educators and staff, facilities and infrastructure, management, financing, and evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the formation of moderate attitudes through madrasah culture at MA Unggulan KH. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh (MAUWH) Tambakberas. This research focuses on the strategy of building moderate attitudes of students and its implications at MAUWH. This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through three paths; namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that the strategy of building moderate attitudes of students at MAUWH through the creation of a religious atmosphere, internalization of values, habituation and exemplary. The strategy is recorded in the character-building program which is applied to activities such; praying dhuha and praying dhuhur in the congregation, istighasah, sapa tetangga, Bhakti BU, and Inspiring. The implication of these strategic activities is the emergence of attitudes that are accustomed to worshiping, respecting others, having social care, and being tolerant which is an indicator of a moderate attitude.

Abstract

This study focuses on the concept of Islamic education in Madura based on cosmopolitanism. This study has three research focuses to be studied: the concept of Islamic education, Madurese Islam and cosmopolitanism, and cosmopolitanism-based Madurese Islamic education. By using literature research by using a descriptive approach, this study reveals that Madura is a region known known as religious and multicultural place. Madurese Islamic education is defined as learning and knowledge based on Madurese Islam. The acculturation of culture and religion merges into a unique type of Madurese Islam with a variety of Madurese traditions and Islamic values. The meaning of rationality that is shared between the concepts of Islamic Education and cosmopolitanism is humanity without foundation. Based on the theory of cosmopolitanism, the concept of Islamic education in Madura is to prioritize Islamic religious teachings that are rahmatan lil'alamin, so to create togetherness among people regardless of the background for each individuals. The concept of Madurese Islamic education based on cosmopolitanism makes a person have a high concern for humanity, regardless of his background. Cosmopolitanism is interesting to study, especially in the area of Madura.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the community's choice-making behavior using Kotler's four-pillar model: product, price, place, and promotion. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. In-depth interviews with key informants, along with careful observation and recording gained during the field study, were the primary methods for data collection. The method of data analysis was carried out cyclically, with the stages of data display, data reduction, and conclusion serving as the checkpoints. According to the research findings, cunsomer behavior in choosing madrasa education institutions is influenced by marketing stimuli/mix, in addition to other stimuli and buyer responses. The findings of this research have ramifications for the necessity of management of educational institutions knowing the desires and requirements of the community for the path of institutional development.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal Islamic boarding schools' learning models and quality in the Equality Education Program of Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools in Madura. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research was conducted in several Islamic boarding schools of Madura island to represent Islamic boarding schools that have implemented the Salaf Islamic Boarding School Equality Education Program. The results of this study indicate that the equality program has been carried out in several Islamic boarding schools in Madura. The implementation of this program is carried out by applying a mixed learning model, namely the conventional learning model (sorogan and bandongan) and the online learning model, through the Equality Test, Computer-Based National Assessment (CBNA), and Computer-Based Education Unit Examination (CBEUE). Quality assurance is implemented by utilizing an internal and external evaluation system. While a particular team from the Ministry of Religion conducts external evaluations, pesantren administrators and managers are responsible for internal evaluations. The shift in madrasah diniyah education shows that pesantren have been able to apply online learning models while maintaining conventional learning models. The quality of pesantren is increasing with the number of students, equalizing students' education with general education, and obtaining formal recognition from the National Accreditation Board for schools/madrasahs.

Abstract

This study examines the traces of Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah's life and his role as a pioneer and public figure as well as his transcendence dimension prophetically influence character development as spirit and personality of the Santri (students). This study uses a descriptive approach with data collection techniques of interviews, participant Kiai, Leadership; Transcendence; Character Development; Santri observation, and documentation. This research aims to, firstly, describe the life of Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah when he was in the Islamic boarding school; secondly, to describe the role of Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah as a pioneer in establishing educational institutions, as a great figure in mass organizations and his wisdom as Murshid Thoriqah Naqsyabandiyah Ahmadiyah Mudzhariyah; and the last, to describe the prophetic transcendence dimension of Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah's leadership in influencing character development as spirit and personality of the students in managing Islamic Education. The results showed that, firstly, Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah was a scholar who produced works related to religion, Sufism, and language. Second, Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah plays and works his role well as a public figure for Islamic Education, the figure of Religious Organization namely Nahdhatul Ulama (NU), as well as Sufi and Murshid figure of Thoriqah Naqsabandiyah Ahmadiyah Mudzhariyah. Third, the behavior and leadership of Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah, in prophetic transcendent, influence the character development of the students in the form of trustful, patience, sincerity, istiqamah, simplicity and humility, and firmness in his action.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology are so fast, capable of dynamically changing the order of human life. Everyone is increasingly dependent on technology in every inch of their activities, including in the realm of education. The use of technology products in the form of internet access and social media has been massively used by millions of people in the world. Learning, which initially only focused on meeting in class and relying only on printed books, is now developing with the presence of a new era, namely digital literacy, including in religious learning. This study aims to photograph the implementation of digital literacy, the use of digital religious resources and their impact on learning in Indonesia and Malaysia. This study is a type of qualitative research with a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. Primary data sources come from research journal articles and books that are in accordance with the theme of the discussion while secondary data is used as explanatory data related to the theme. The data analysis technique uses content analysis. The findings or results of the research are that digital literacy in Indonesia and Malaysia both utilize information and communication technology media that relies on internet access, websites and social media. Problems are still found in the two countries, namely related to equity, where in some regions or regions they have not been able to reach the internet optimally and certainly have not been able to fully implement digital literacy. Digital religious literacy of students in Indonesia and Malaysia is by utilizing interesting and free-access content and materials available on the internet and social media. Access to religious material in digital space by students has proven to be able to increase understanding of the material.

Abstract

This article aims to find and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning innovations in excellent classes to improve learning achievement. This study applied a qualitative approach designed descriptively through a case study research type with a multicase research design. The research sites were conducted at MI International Sabilillah Sampang and MTs Negeri 3 Sumber Bungur Pamekasan. As a key instrument in the data collection, the researcher went directly to the field by applying previously planned techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis applied a case study with a multicase design which was analyzed through single data and data across cases. The study results show that the Excellent Class Learning Innovation lesson plan improves Learning Achievement at MI International Sabilillah Sampang and MTs Negeri 3 Sumber Bungur Pamekasan is built through input, excellent learning processes, and excellent output. Second, the implementation of excellent class learning innovations in improving learning achievement at MI International Sabilillah Sampang and MTs Negeri 3 Sumber Bungur Pamekasan, namely through a curriculum enriched with Olympiads, class management, standardized teachers, media management, and boarding schools. Third, evaluating learning outcomes using a test and non-test approach includes aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills with high competition standards so that student achievement and the reputation of the madrasah is increasing. In comparison, evaluating learning innovation programs uses the CIPP model by developing four components: context, input, process, and product.

Abstract

This study explores cyber pedagogy potential under Islamic education management in vocational school. This study intends to investigate how to support teachers' professional development and mindset enhancement; the implemention; and the way in overcoming obstacles of cyber pedagogy. This research adopts a qualitative field research design with a phenomenological approach. Meanwhile, this study was conducted at Muhammadiyah Kajen Vocational School. This research’s primary data collection methods were observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, involving six key informants, including stakeholders and teaching staff. The findings reveal that All aspects of educational systems, such as technology proficiency, mindset, and learning design, should be supported by this curriculum. Meanwhile, four steps can be taken to implement cyber-based leaning. The first strategy involves mapping knowledge and skills to needs. Second, the school needs to evaluate students and keep an eye on their performance. Third on the list is developing training based on needs analysis, which is followed by continuous programme assessment and monitoring. In the meantime, this programme adds to certain issues. SMK Muhammadiyah Kajen is noteworthy for its ability to cultivate a digital mindset through the integration of human resources into a digital setting, resulting in a cutting edge, inventive, and contemporary learning environment.
