Abstract

Dengue fever (DF) is mostly common in certain geographical areas, such as Indonesia, where it continues to be public health problem due to its nature as a viral infection spread through mosquitos. The focus of this study is to assess the factors affecting length of hospital stay (LOS) among DF patients in Buleleng Regency. Between July and December 2024, a cross-sectional investigation was carried out at many hospitals, retrieving the medical records of 940 DF patients. The Spearman test was used in statistical analysis to examine the association between LOS and clinical indicators. The majority of patients (60.96%) were youngsters, 95.5% were admitted to the paediatric ward, and their recovery rate (99.89%) and mortality rate (0.11%) were also high. LOS was significantly associated with leukocyte levels, fever duration, and severity of the disease (p<0.05). However, age, gender, hematocrit, and platelet levels did not show significant association with LOS (p>0.05). This reveals that leukocyte count, duration of fever, and severity of DF contribute in determining hospital stay duration while discharge criteria as such degree of anemia and thrombocytopenia do not appear to be reliable predictors. It is suggested that there is a gap in literature that needs to be looked into regarding the genetic clinical determinants of LOS patients with DF needs further evaluation.

Abstract

This study examines the opportunities and challenges faced by Indonesia's peer-to-peer (P2P) lending industry in providing loans to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) following the issuance of OJK Regulation (POJK) No. 40/2024. The research was motivated by Indonesia's significant MSME financing gap and the evolving role of P2P lending as a complementary institution to traditional banks. Using a qualitative exploratory approach, the study integrated primary data from expert interviews with P2P executives, association representatives (Asosiasi Fintech Pendanaan Bersama Indonesia [AFPI]), and MSME borrowers, alongside secondary data from industry reports and regulations. Analytical frameworks—including PESTEL, Resource-Based View (RBV), SWOT, and TOWS matrix—were employed. Findings reveal that while POJK 40/2024 aims to enhance governance and promote productive lending, it introduces challenges such as interest rate caps, high compliance costs, and operational complexities for supply chain financing. Key opportunities lie in the vast untapped MSME market, regulatory clarity, and strategic partnerships with banks. The study concludes that sustainable industry growth hinges on balancing compliance with innovation, leveraging technological capabilities, and fostering ecosystem collaboration. The implications extend to strategic management practices and regulatory design for advancing financial inclusion.

Abstract

In addressing the complexity of modern organizational environments, the implementation of Lean Human Resources (Lean HR) has emerged as a strategic approach to enhancing efficiency and employee empowerment. This study aims to examine the relationship between Lean HR and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), as well as to explore the role of organizational culture as a moderating variable in that relationship. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol, analyzing 40 empirical articles from the Scopus database published between 2024 and 2025. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to support bibliometric mapping and thematic visualization. The findings indicate that Lean HR principles—such as process efficiency, empowerment, continuous training, and transparency—have a positive relationship with OCB dimensions, including altruism, civic virtue, and conscientiousness. Moreover, an organizational culture that fosters collaboration and learning plays a crucial role in strengthening the influence of Lean HR on OCB. Bibliometric visualizations identified “employee” and “organization” as central nodes in the relevant literature. In conclusion, the integration of Lean HR with an adaptive organizational culture significantly fosters the development of OCB. This study offers both theoretical and practical contributions to the advancement of strategic human resource management in navigating contemporary organizational dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of remuneration and non-financial rewards on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at PT Sembilan Jagad Pandhito (SJP). The background of this study is the issue of suboptimal employee performance, which is influenced by perceptions of the fairness of the wage system, limitations in the provision of non-financial rewards, and fluctuating levels of work motivation. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to 60 PT SJP employees as respondents. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The independent variables in this study were remuneration and non-financial rewards, the dependent variable was employee performance, while work motivation acted as an intervening variable. The results showed that remuneration had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Non-financial rewards were also found to have a positive effect on performance, both directly and through work motivation. In addition, work motivation mediates the relationship between remuneration and non-financial rewards with employee performance. These findings confirm that PT SJP needs to design a fair, timely, and standard-compliant remuneration system and strengthen consistent non-financial reward policies in order to increase work motivation and produce optimal performance.

Abstract

This study evaluates the financial performance of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) compared with other listed construction companies in Indonesia from 2018 to 2024, using financial ratio analysis and the DuPont framework. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data from annual reports to analyze liquidity, profitability, leverage, activity, and market ratios—establishing benchmark comparisons with PTPP, TOTL, JKON, and NRCA. The findings reveal that ADHI consistently underperforms its industry peers, especially in profitability and asset efficiency. Although the company exhibits a high equity multiplier, the benefits of leverage are offset by a weak net profit margin and low total asset turnover, resulting in unsustainably low return on equity (ROE). The DuPont analysis further shows that ADHI’s financial challenges stem from operational inefficiencies, prolonged project cycles, and heavy reliance on debt financing. Business risks are amplified by long collection periods, delayed payments, and high working-capital pressure, while financial risk increases due to elevated debt ratios and volatile earnings. The study concludes that improving ADHI’s performance requires strengthening cost control, accelerating project execution, optimizing asset utilization, and rebalancing the capital structure to reduce leverage dependence.

Abstract

Dalam industri hiburan Indonesia, fenomena pembatalan budaya menjadi masalah sosial yang kompleks. Ini terjadi di era digital, di mana pembatalan kolektif artis dan figur publik terjadi secara cepat dan massif melalui media sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana cancel culture dibentuk dan dipengaruhi oleh struktur sosial, nilai kolektif, dan dinamika kekuasaan di industri hiburan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dari sudut pandang sosiologi budaya dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 informan (5 artis, 5 audiens, 5 pengamat industri), observasi partisipan di media sosial, dan analisis konten dokumen sekunder selama 6-12 bulan. Analisis tematik mengidentifikasi empat tema utama: (1) cancel culture sebagai kontrol sosial informal, (2) media sosial sebagai arena pertarungan simbolik, (3) dinamika identitas kolektif dan representasi budaya, dan (4) implikasi psikologis bagi pelaku industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cancel culture berfungsi sebagai cara informal untuk mengontrol sosial dan memperkuat norma budaya yang dominan. Selain itu, ia menjadi tempat pertempuran simbolik di ruang publik digital. Media sosial telah berkembang menjadi sumber penting untuk mobilisasi massa dan pembentukan opini, yang berdampak pada identitas budaya dan reputasi artis. Fenomena ini juga memiliki efek sosial dan psikologis yang signifikan bagi pelaku, seperti stres, isolasi sosial, dan ketidakpastian karir. Studi ini menekankan bahwa untuk mempertahankan industri hiburan Indonesia di era global, regulasi etis media sosial, literasi digital, dan diskusi konstruktif antara pemangku kepentingan sangat penting untuk mengelola cancel culture secara lebih manusiawi dan konstruktif.

Abstract

The success of a construction project is not only measured by the achievement of technical aspects such as cost, quality, and time, but is also greatly influenced by stakeholder engagement. This is increasingly relevant for irrigation network rehabilitation projects that have a strategic role in supporting food security. This study aims to analyze the influence of stakeholder involvement consisting of project owners (owner/promoters), planning consultants (designer/defender), regulators and regional authorities (latent), as well as the end-user community or the Water User Farmers Association (P3A/apathetic) on the success of the irrigation network rehabilitation project of D.I. Buloila Kanan, Gorontalo. The research method uses a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through questionnaires to respondents who are directly involved in the project, both from elements of the government, consultants, contractors, and the community. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential tests to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of stakeholder involvement on the success of the project. The results show that the involvement of each stakeholder has a significant effect on the success of the project. The project owner plays a role in the provision of budgets, operating policies, and maintenance (O&M). The planning consultant determines the technical quality of the design according to local hydrological and socio-economic conditions. Regulators and regional authorities facilitate the administrative process and synchronization of spatial planning. Meanwhile, P3A contributes to the sustainability of irrigation functions through active participation in operations and maintenance. Simultaneously, the involvement of all stakeholders strengthens the success of the project, both in terms of physical output and long-term benefits. The conclusion of this study confirms that synergy between stakeholders is the main determinant of the success of irrigation network rehabilitation projects.

Abstract

Proyek rehabilitasi jaringan irigasi merupakan bagian penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan sistem irigasi guna mendukung sektor pertanian. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, proyek ini menghadapi berbagai risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi biaya, waktu, dan mutu pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran rehabilitasi dalam mitigasi risiko pada proyek rehabilitasi jaringan irigasi D.I. Cikaduwen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis risiko yang melibatkan identifikasi, penilaian, dan pemetaan risiko. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei dengan kuesioner serta studi literatur yang relevan. Risiko dikategorikan berdasarkan aspek teknis, finansial, operasional, dan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko teknis, seperti kesalahan perencanaan dan penggunaan material yang tidak sesuai, merupakan faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan proyek. Selain itu, faktor operasional, seperti keterlambatan pengadaan material dan tenaga kerja, juga memberikan dampak signifikan. Pemetaan risiko menggunakan matriks probabilitas dan dampak menunjukkan bahwa beberapa risiko memiliki tingkat keparahan tinggi yang memerlukan strategi mitigasi lebih efektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi mitigasi risiko yang terintegrasi sangat diperlukan dalam proyek rehabilitasi jaringan irigasi untuk mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap pelaksanaan proyek. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup peningkatan manajemen proyek, perencanaan yang lebih matang, serta pemantauan risiko secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital dalam pelayanan kesehatan mendorong perlunya integrasi data yang cepat, akurat, dan mudah diakses oleh tenaga kesehatan. Aplikasi Sehat IndonesiaKu (ASIK) hadir sebagai sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan kesehatan untuk mendukung skrining penyakit tidak menular (PTM) melalui pendekatan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesiapan tenaga kesehatan dalam penggunaan ASIK di Puskesmas Purwodiningratan dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) yang meliputi persepsi manfaat, persepsi kemudahan, sikap, minat, dan kepuasan sebagai determinan penggunaan senyatanya. Penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan total sampling terhadap 37 tenaga kesehatan dan kader yang menjadi pengguna ASIK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel TAM memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan penggunaan senyatanya ASIK: persepsi manfaat (p=0,035), persepsi kemudahan (p=0,045), sikap (p=0,015), minat (p=0,021), dan kepuasan (p=0,032). Uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa kelima variabel secara signifikan memengaruhi penggunaan ASIK (p<0,05), sedangkan uji simultan menghasilkan nilai F=20,334 dengan p=0,000 yang menandakan model regresi layak digunakan. Nilai determinasi (R²=0,879) menunjukkan bahwa 87,9% variasi penggunaan ASIK dijelaskan oleh kelima variabel tersebut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemahaman manfaat, kemudahan, sikap positif, minat berkelanjutan, dan kepuasan pengguna merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan kesiapan tenaga kesehatan dalam mengadopsi ASIK sebagai alat pencatatan dan pelaporan kesehatan berbasis digital

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of female leadership style and work autonomy on employee happiness with employee engagement as a moderating variable in the banking sector in Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. Using quantitative causal methods and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis through SmartPLS 4.0 on 385 bank employee respondents, the study found that female leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee happiness (β=0.595, p<0.05), as does work autonomy (β=0.243, p<0.05). However, employee engagement fails to moderate the relationship between female leadership style and happiness (p=0.107>0.05) or work autonomy and happiness (p=0.314>0.05). These findings indicate that empathetic and collaborative female leadership and the provision of work autonomy directly increase employee happiness without depending on engagement levels. Practical implications highlight the importance of developing female leadership capacity and providing work flexibility to improve employee well-being in the banking industry.
