The Akhlaqul Karimah Journal (JAK) is a journal that publishes articles or research results and critical analysis studies related to Islamic Education Sciences which include Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, Islamic Cultural History, and Quran and Hadith Sciences. Journal of Akhlaqul Karimah (JAK) is published by Samodra Ilmu (Institute for Research, Publishing, and Scientific Journals) Yogyakarta. Published twice a year (March and September). The mission of the Akhlaqul Karimah Journal (JAK) is to disseminate and discuss the results of research and scientific papers on the Science of Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, History of Islamic Culture, and the Science of the Quran and Hadith. This journal is intended as a medium of socialization and communication for researchers , lecturers, teachers, and people who have an interest in Islamic Education, which includes the Science of Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, History of Islamic Culture, and the Science of the Quran and Hadith.

Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in building a civilization. the main priority of an education system is educating students on how to learn and think critically, but Islamic education is considered to have not been able to achieve this target. Paul K. Feyerabend was a philosopher with the great thought of anarchism epistemology, the basic principle of his thought is anything goes. He argues that there should be no need to be too rigid in using a method or theory. Because none of these methods are perfect, it could be that the methods or theories that we believe and use are not actually theories. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method used, namely library research, by collecting related literature and analyzing it. Paul Feyerabend teaches us to always be critical in understanding things and use diverse perspectives, so it is not easy to blame different understandings. The theory presented by Paul is very relevant to Islamic Education which ideally is very open to critical space and open to all ideas or ideas that differ from our opinions. So that the book of Jesus is wiser and not easy to blame other opinions.

Abstract

The principal's strategy in developing educational institutions at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Plus Nabawi Kedungadem Bojonegoro is a qualitative research. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching for and compiling data from interviews, observations and documentation by organizing the data and choosing which ones are important and which ones need to be studied and drawing conclusions so that they are easy to understand. The results of the study found that madrasas had carried out their maximum efforts in an effort to develop educational institutions at MTs Plus Nabawi Kedungadem Bojonegoro. The strategy of the head of MTs Plus Nabawi Kedungadem Bojonegoro consists of two strategies, namely First, improving the quality of Human Resources, this program focuses on improving the quality of teachers in teaching students. This program focuses on increasing the potential of students by creating four programs that are directly related to madrasas and the community. These programs are in the form of: the tahfidz program, collaboration with Religious Development (Field) Institutions, Sports and Arabic Language Development, commemoration of Islamic holidays (PHBI), and the Smart Education Center (SEC). Second, in the form of improving the quality of education through special programs at MTs. This program is in the form of coaching and sending teachers and staff to seminars, workshops and coaching from the head of the madrasah himself.

Abstract

Religious mentoring is a means of forming Muslim personalities and inculcating moral values. This mentoring activity is routinely carried out by teachers at the Integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bengkulu City. The purpose of this research is to analyze the process of implementing mentoring activities carried out on students of the Integrated Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Bengkulu City. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation. The data obtained by the researcher is then categorized and collected from research questions, then the researcher can conclude the research and use SWOT analysis. The research subjects were all students of the Integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School. From the results of the research that in the process of carrying out these mentoring activities students routinely listen to studies or lectures, facilitate students' interests and talents, train students to be brave and confident, motivate them to be able to be responsible, and interact more with the Al-Qur'an. Mentoring activities for students of the Integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bengkulu City are carried out in groups, namely one group consisting of 5-10 students with 1 (one) mentor each, this activity begins with reading Bismillah together and continues with reading Al-Fatihah , then provision of mentoring material by each coach. Besides that, this activity can also help students (mente) in memorizing prayer readings, asmaul husna, even short surahs, then with this mentoring activity it also helps in increasing self-confidence in students (mente).

Abstract

This library research presents a comprehensive review of literature on the cognitive benefits of educational games that can be implemented in Al Qur'an learning for young learners at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The study explores the significance and multifaceted nature of these benefits, focusing on various cognitive processes and mechanisms involved in game-based learning. This study employs the library research methodology to comprehensively describe the cognitive benefits of educational games in Al Qur'an learning for young learners at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The approach involves a systematic descriptive analysis to explain the obtained facts. Analyzing existing literature provides a broad understanding of educational games in Al Qur'an learning for young learners and informs future empirical studies in this area. The findings reveal that educational games enhance cognitive development in young students through several key factors. These factors include promoting active engagement, providing scaffolding to support learning, facilitating authentic application of cognitive skills, reinforcing learning through repetition, fostering critical thinking, offering feedback and rewards, facilitating problem decomposition and strategy development, promoting collaborative learning, and enabling a state of flow. By leveraging these cognitive processes and mechanisms, educational games offer an interactive, engaging, and effective approach to Al Qur'an learning. The integration of game elements captures the attention and interest of young learners, fostering deep and meaningful engagement with the subject matter. The research emphasizes the importance of incorporating educational games as a valuable tool in Al Qur'an education for young learners at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

This research is descriptive  study with a qualitative approach to the phenomenon of changes in religious and social patterns in the Jepara Annual village community  as a result of the digital era which is marked by the development of information technology. This research uses data collection methods with observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Triangulation is used to maintain the validity of the data. Research subjects included teenagers, adults and parents. Data is processed by selecting data, synthesizing, searching and finding patterns, until finding the important meaning and what is learned. The findings from this research are that there are several socio-religious activities of the Tahunan village community that are experiencing changes. The significant shift that occurred was in the majlis ta'lim and khotmil qur'an, which were originally offline-based activities have become online-based. The advantage of this change is the efficiency of time and energy, but the disadvantage is that people's mindset tends to be pragmatic.

Abstract

The research began with the observation of many graduates from Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) who still lacked self-confidence after completing their education. The aim of the Life Skills Education Strategy for Students at Al-Muhajirin 1 Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School was to determine the strategies used in providing life skills education and the supporting and hindering factors in its implementation at the Islamic boarding school. The research employed a qualitative approach, involving methods such as observation, interviews, and document analysis with caregivers, teachers (ustadz), and the students themselves as the research subjects. Data analysis was conducted through triangulation, involving data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings are as follows: Vocational skills education through Cooperative Pondok activities aimed to enhance entrepreneurial skills. Social skills education through Security and Order and Roan activities aimed to improve social skills, cooperation, and effective communication among students. Academic skills education through Khitobah activities aimed to develop public speaking skills and self-presentation. As for the supporting and hindering factors: In vocational skills education, students were enthusiastic about participating in the cooperative, but a hindering factor was the prevalence of student debt. In social skills education, the management recognized the importance of responsibility and supervision, but a hindrance was the lack of discipline, and sometimes the management struggled to maintain order among the students. In academic skills education, students were enthusiastic about creating Khitobah presentations, but a hindering factor was their lack of self-confidence.

Abstract

The important role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character attracted researchers to investigate. The purpose of this review is to determine the role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character. There are several articles regarding reviews of the role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character that can be found and this article discusses the results of the literature review carried out by the author. The research process begins with a search engine (Google Scholar) to search for articles then conclusions are drawn, the search ranges from 2016-2022. Based on the results of the literature review, research mostly shows that the role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character has an impact. that Islamic religious education has an important role in character formation, more specifically religious character which is rooted in faith learning, educating students to become human beings with religious character.

Abstract

In the world of education, reading is a must for students. Because reading is the main tool for achieving learning goals. Many students complain that learning a foreign language is very difficult. There are several factors that cause difficulty in learning a foreign language, including the level of foreign language mastery, motivation, lack of practice, lack of learning media, and creativity in textbooks. This study aims to determine the difference between students' learning motivation and learning ability before and after using comic media. The research method used is Research & Development with the Borg & Gall Model which includes 10 steps. The results of the study are (1) based on the validation test of material and language experts, this comic has a very good quality (SB), with a result of 88%, (2) based on a small-scale trial, the student's response to this product was strongly agree (SS), with a score of 97.5%, and the test on a field scale student response to this product was strongly agree (SS), with a score of 93 .3%, (3) there are differences in student learning outcomes when using comic media, namely the results of students' post-test and pre-test scores. With the average result of the pre-test of students 20.75 and the average result of the post-test of students 82. Seeing from the average post-test of students who are superior to the pre-test of students, it can be said that the Arabic-Indonesian comic media is effectively used and can improve the ability to learn Arabic.

Abstract

Education is one of the factors that shape a person's religiosity. Education at school, especially religious education, has a very large role in shaping a person's religiosity. The religious experience one obtains (has had) at school has a significant impact on a person's religious practice in everyday life. The aim of this research is to determine the formation of religious character in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras Jombang students. This research is qualitative research, with data sources from teachers and students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras Jombang. The methods used in collecting data were observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data analysis with stages: data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results showed that at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras Jombang, students also received yellow book studies to provide insight and knowledge related to good personality and character. Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras Jombang always supports and facilitates its students to always excel in both academic and non-academic fields.

Abstract

Edmund Husserl popularized the concept of phenomenology. According to what we know about philosophy, Husserl was a philosopher who had strong opinions about phenomena. When discussing psychology, Husserl's biography is written about Husserl's life story, his writings, and the resources available for higher education. From Husserl's Phenomenological Theory, the evaluation method used is Library Research, which is a term for the type of analysis carried out by collecting data from all available sources. Refers to the books designated as data sources. Phenomenology is a distinct discipline.In the years (1857-1938). Phenomology is a single branch of science that is often called radical, because it is based on assumptions that threaten the integrity of the human body's innate mental processes. Undersucgsuhugen Logik, Iden Zuenier Rainen's "phanomenologie und phanomenologischen" philosophy, and Cartesian Meditations are among the key works that Husserl left behind. Thought and Epoche-Related Writings, Husserl's views on naturalistic psychology, phenomena, and phenomenology as an academic discipline. One of the principles of education, according to Edmund Husserl, is interpersonal communication. Other principles include critical thinking and engaging in activities that cause a person to feel uncomfortable.
