Abstract

The aim of this research is to look at The Effect Of Role Play Strategy In Teaching Vocabulary At The Eighth Grade Of Smp Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar. This research would employ a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative research and a "pre-test and post-test" methodology. The objective of the research was to determine whether or not eighth grade children learn vocabulary well through role-playing. The researcher used just two classes as samples. The experimental group is VIII-3, whereas the control group is VIII-4. The mean achievement of these two groups is comparable. Where each class has 31 students. The VIII-3 class was designated as the experimental group, and they would teach through Role Play Strategy, while the VIII-4 class was designated as the control group, and they would not be employing any Role Play Strategy. From the results of the data analysis in the previous study, it can be concluded that Role Play Strategy plays a key role in helping students improve their vocabulary. The use of the Role Play Strategy can help students become more proficient in vocabulary. During the vocabulary lesson in the classroom, the students are more engaged and exhibit greater creativity and innovation. T-test > T-table (3.9 > 1.671), based on the analysis results at the 5% significance level. It also shows that (Ho) was rejected but (Ha) was accepted. The novelty of this research is that students are more active and interested in the learning process, students understand the material more easily, and students have a greater curiosity.

Abstract

The aim of this research aims to see the influence of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Learning Model on Students' Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts in Algebra Form Class VII UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research, because the data and research are in the form of numbers and require statistical calculations. In this research, the design used is a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a One Shot Case Study. In this design, there is treatment given to the experimental class, namely the application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model. This research was carried out in class VII UPTD of SMP Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar which is located on Jl. Laguboti Ujung, Martimbang Village, District. South Siantar, Pematang Siantar City. In this research, the sampling technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling type. Based on the results of the research and discussion previously presented, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class VII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar Q.A 2023/2024. This influence can be seen through the regression equation Y = 11.572 + 0.140 H1 is accepted and the magnitude of the influence on the coefficient of determination is 23.2%.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to find out the effect of picture series teaching media to the writing ability of grade eighth students of SMP Negeri 9 Pematang Siantar on narrative text. This research was using a quasi-experimental design to find out this research. The sample of the research were taken from two classes that consist of 58 students, 29 students in experimental class at VIII-8 and 29 in control class at VIII-7. The resercher found the total of mean score of pre-test in experimental class is 56,53 while mean in post-test is 71,2. The mean score of pre-test in control class is 50,79 while mean in post-test is 60,7. After calculated the data from all of the score, the researcher found that t-test score is 4,06. The, the researcher calculated with score on t-table uses significance 0.05 and the value is 1.672. So, the researcher found that t-test is higher than t-table (4.06 > 1.672). It can be conclude that the effect of picture series teaching media to the writing abilty of grade eighth students of SMP Negeri 9 Pematang Siantar on narrative text.

Abstract

This research aims to see how the use of audio-visual learning media increases students' enthusiasm for learning at the Unggulan Arifah Madrasah Aliyah, Gowa Regency, with the research objects being students and teachers. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method, which means that the data collected is in the form of words, images and not numbers. In this research, the data sources used by researchers are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The research instruments used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. From the research that has been conducted, it can be seen that by using audio-visual learning media, it can be seen that students are very enthusiastic and enthusiastic when learning using audio-visual learning media. This is proven by the students' responses being very active, full of enthusiasm and responding quickly to the teacher in answering questions and daring to put forward answers. They also want video learning media to be presented continuously in learning but also supported by brief explanations by the teacher so that teacher-oriented learning will be slightly reduced.

Abstract

In the current digital era, all elements are required to adapt to technological developments, one of which is in the world of education. The success of education cannot be separated from interesting learning media. Especially in the current era, there are many applications that can support the learning process. One of them is the Canva application as explained in this article. The aim of writing this article is to make educators more aware of technological advances, especially the use of the Canva application in learning in the current digital era. In this article the author uses a library research method, namely by collecting data through various library sources such as journals, books and other scientific sources that are relevant to the topic discussed in this article. The results of this research are that the Canva application is an interesting application to use as a learning medium. Because in the Canva application there are various interesting features that support the learning process.

Abstract

Creativity is the ability to create something new. Its form is human action through a creative process that takes place in the minds of people or a group, creative products are created. The products themselves vary widely. The spread of which is spreading so fast in Indonesia has disrupted the education sector in Indonesia, thus requiring students not to be able to continue their study activities as they should at school. The government also recommends that learning be carried out, through online media (in the network). This study aims to determine the level of creativity of physical education teachers in Bantul Regency in learning volleyball during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study were 42 high school physical education teachers in Bantul Regency, while the sample used total sampling amounted to 42 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or google forms. The data analysis techniqueused in this study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis technique with a percentage (%). The results of this study showed that the creation of physical education teachers in Bantul Regency in learning volleyball during the Covid-19 pandemic was relatively high with a total of 21 teachers (50%), this number was the largest frequency of the overall results of taking the 42 data that had been carried out.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze learning evaluations which aim to enable educators to measure student assessments. This research method uses qualitative with descriptive research type. Primary data sources are TPA teachers and secondary data from relevant journals and books. Data collection technique; observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are by providing an assessment rubric to teachers so that the results of the assessment are accurate. By providing ice breaking to the students there it also makes learning fun and not boring. And also show a video of the practice of good attitudes from Rasulullah Shallahu 'alaihi Wassalam. As a result, students' characteristics can improve compared to before because of well-structured learning evaluations.

Abstract

After the proclamation of Indonesian independence in 1945, Islamic education played a significant role in the formation of national identity and the development of Indonesian society. This research aims to provide insight into the development of Islamic education in post-independence Indonesia and the relevance of policy in maintaining the existence of Islamic education within the national education framework. The research method used is qualitative with library research. Data analysis uses content analysis content. The main findings include the goals of Islamic education to shape religious and national character, improve the quality of Islamic education, encourage tolerance between religious communities, produce a generation that makes positive contributions, and develop research in the Islamic context. The policies implemented after independence recognized the importance of Islamic education in forming the character of citizens in accordance with the values of Pancasila. During the Old Order, the government focused on regulating nationalist values and the ideology of national and state life through education.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate ways in which regional traditional dance learning could be used to improve students' cultural skills and creativity in secondary schools. This research investigates how traditional regional dances can be incorporated into the school curriculum with the aim of increasing students' understanding of cultural diversity and increasing creativity. This research found that regional traditional dances help preserve cultural heritage and increase students' multicultural awareness and creative skills. This research method uses qualitative research with a literature review type. Data collection techniques use curriculum document analysis, students become more creative and expressive. The results of this research found that, to support multicultural education and develop 21st century skills among students, regional traditional dances should be more included in the school curriculum.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the influence of conventional instructional approaches on students' motivation to engage in classroom learning. This study employs a qualitative approach, specifically utilizing a literature review methodology. The data was gathered from a variety of pertinent publications and journals. This research examines the interactions between professors and students within the framework of traditional teaching. The findings indicate that conventional instructional approaches, which frequently fail to actively involve students, have a substantial impact on diminishing students' willingness to acquire knowledge. The primary factors discovered were the absence of student engagement in the learning process and the absence of reciprocal contact between professors and students. Conversely, this study discovered that educators who employed a more engaging pedagogical method and linked the curriculum to real-life contexts effectively enhanced students' motivation to acquire knowledge
