Abstract

Small-scale cattle farmers face persistent challenges in managing feed costs, which constitute a major component of production expenses. Limited access to technology and financial literacy often hinders their ability to improve efficiency and sustain operations. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a technology-based training model in enhancing farmers’ competencies in feed cost management. Five key indicators were assessed: understanding of hidden costs, identification of forage cost components, proficiency in using Visual Basic applications, ability to construct livestock cash flow, and awareness of the importance of cost recording. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-test and post-test design involving ten participants, with data analysed through the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test. Results revealed statistically significant improvements across all indicators (Z = -2.803; p = 0.0051), with average score increases ranging from 79.4% to 102.4%. These findings demonstrate that practice-oriented and digitally integrated training effectively strengthens both technical and managerial capacities among small-scale cattle farmers. The proposed training model is suitable for replication in broader farmer empowerment programs and provides a foundation for longitudinal evaluation of its long-term impact on efficiency, profitability, and business resilience.

Abstract

This study examines the strategy of Kalurahan Girirejo, Imogiri, Bantul, in realising an Independent Cultural Village in accordance with Law No. 13 of 2012 and Yogyakarta Governor Regulation No. 93 of 2020. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, analysed using the strategic management framework of Wheelen & Hunger (2003). Kalurahan Girirejo has strong cultural potential, including the heritage of the Mataram Kingdom, traditional arts, keris, batik, and cultural tourism attractions. The development strategy is structured around four main pillars: Cultural Village, Tourism Village, Prima Village, and Preneur Village. The implementation covers cultural preservation, tourism development, women’s empowerment, and support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Despite challenges such as limited budget, human resources, and competition with other cultural destinations, Kalurahan Girirejo has managed to sustain its programs. Based on the indicators of Governor Regulation No. 93/2020, in 2024, Girirejo obtained accreditation as a Cultural Village. This strategic approach not only safeguards cultural heritage but also strengthens the community’s socio-economic resilience, making it a replicable model for other Independent Cultural Villages in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate an integrated and effective collaboration model for developing tourist destinations in Lohia District, Muna Regency, to address limited infrastructure, human resource capacity, promotion, tourism product innovation, and low community participation. This research was conducted in Lohia District, Muna Regency. Data collection methods used were observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review. Informants were selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative. The results indicate that: 1) Tourism potential in Lohia District can be developed into marine tourism, agricultural tourism or agrotourism, rural tourism, and cultural tourism; 2) Tourism destination development must be understood holistically and requires collaboration from all parties, including the government, readers, the community, and the media; 4) The quadruple helix collaboration model for integrated tourism development in Lohia District is designed by combining three integrations: 1) Integration of tourism destination development components, 2) Integration of tourism types or themes, and 3) Integration of stakeholders. This approach is called the Triple Quadruple Helix.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the role of contract drafting in ensuring the implementation of the principle of freedom of contract while remaining in line with legal constraints, morality, and public order, in order to create valid, balanced contracts that provide legal certainty for the parties. This research uses a normative juridical method by examining relevant laws and regulations, doctrines, and court decisions. The analysis shows that freedom of contract from a contract drafting perspective must always be understood within the framework of a balance between autonomy of will and legal protection. Contracts drafted without considering legal constraints have the potential to give rise to disputes or even be deemed null and void. Therefore, innovation in contract drafting is needed to ensure contracts remain flexible for the parties while remaining within the applicable legal framework.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the roles of actors within the Pentahelix model: Academia, Business, Community, Government, and Media in the governance of shallot in Nganjuk Regency. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The informants consist of representatives from the Department of Agriculture, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, UD Pangrukti Tani, the Luru Luhur Farmers’ Group Association, and Radar Nganjuk. The results show that three actors (Government, Academia, and Community) have performed optimally, while two actors (Business and Media) have not yet fully contributed. Academia plays a role through research and farmer training; businesses are involved mainly in seed supply and upstream training; communities act as implementers and technology validators; the government functions as the main coordinator; and the media remains event-driven. The study recommends strengthening the role of businesses in value-added activities, enhancing media engagement through continuous education, and establishing a formal Pentahelix forum to facilitate equal collaboration among actors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the zoned parking policy in the Tunjungan area of Surabaya City using the theoretical framework of policy implementation according to George C. Edwards III, which includes four key variables: communication, resource availability, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. A descriptive qualitative research approach was applied through field observations, in-depth interviews with policy implementers, and related document studies. The research findings indicate that the communication and resource provision aspects have been running relatively well. However, there are several obstacles in the implementer disposition aspect, such as weak coordination between officers and attitudes that do not fully support consistent policy implementation. In addition, fragmentation in the bureaucratic structure hinders synergy and clear division of tasks between related agencies, thus affecting the effectiveness of the overall policy implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the levels of work-related stress, its contributing factors, as well as stress management strategies and practices among public sector employees in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from 92 survey respondents with qualitative data from 12 informants obtained through in-depth interviews and document analysis. Quantitative analysis indicates that 24% of employees experience high levels of stress, with emotional and physical symptoms being the most prominent. Simple linear regression analysis confirms that workload, role ambiguity, and social support are the main predictors of work-related stress. Qualitative findings reveal that the stress management strategies implemented are still partial, informal, and heavily dependent on the initiative of unit leaders, without formal regulations, dedicated budgets, or specialised units. Moreover, social stigma regarding stress management and a lack of a work culture that supports mental health are major barriers to implementation. This study emphasises the need for strategic interventions, including structured institutional policies, technical regulations, stress management training, enhanced social support, and gender-responsive approaches to improve employee well-being and public service quality. The findings contribute to strengthening public sector human resource management systems through more professional and sustainable work-related stress management.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf oil enrichment on Artemia sp. as live feed toward the growth and survival rate of goldfish larvae (Cyprinus carpio L.). The experiment was conducted at the Aquaculture Laboratory, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, from July to August 2024. A completely randomised design (CRD) was used with four treatments and three replications: P0 (without enrichment), P1 (0.1 mL/L), P2 (0.2 mL/L), and P3 (0.3 mL/L). Observed parameters included absolute length and weight gain, daily growth rate (LPPH), specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR), and proximate composition of Artemia sp. and fish larvae. The results showed that enrichment with Moringa leaf oil significantly affected (p<0.05) the growth and nutrient content but did not significantly affect the survival rate of the larvae. The best results were obtained at the 0.3 mL/L dose (P3) with an absolute length of 2.04 cm, absolute weight of 0.345 g, daily growth rate of 10.16%, and specific growth rate of 0.017%. The protein and fat contents of Artemia sp. increased to 12.68% and 2.50%, respectively. Water quality during the study remained within the optimal range for goldfish larval rearing. In conclusion, Artemia sp. enriched with Moringa oleifera leaf oil at a concentration of 0.3 mL/L is recommended to enhance the growth performance of goldfish larvae.

Abstract

Violence against children remains a serious problem in Indonesia's social welfare system. This study aims to analyse the implementation of play therapy programs as a psychosocial intervention strategy to reduce the impact of violence against children. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research was conducted at a Child Social Welfare Institution in Yogyakarta through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results showed that play therapy was effective in reducing aggressive behaviour, improving emotional expression, and strengthening children's sense of security after trauma. Social workers act as therapeutic mediators who bridge children's emotional recovery with the support of family and social environment. Local cultural adaptation through traditional games increases the acceptance and effectiveness of therapy. However, limited human resources and national guidelines are major obstacles to implementation. This study emphasises the importance of developing a play-based and locally cultural intervention model as part of child social rehabilitation services in Indonesia.
