Abstract

The portable rumpon is a movable fish aggregating device that consists of a float and attractor, without anywood or permanent structures on it. This portable rumpon is commonly used in waters with moderate currents. It isusually equipped with sonar to determine the abundance of fish congregating in the area. Modifications to the shapeof the portable rumpon and the engineering addition of acoustic sensors are expected to increase the catch of fish, allowing them to gather around it. The acoustic sensors used have a frequency range of 10,000-15,000 Hz, which is asound wave favored by fish. The generated sound waves are anticipated to enhance the catch results, as indicated bythe number of fish that gather around the rumpon. The operation of the portable rumpon can be conducted alongsidefishing gear to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This study explores the repercussions of illegal online loans on cashless lifestyles and digital marketing amongstudents at the Language Department of Bengkalis State Polytechnic. The primary objective is to analyze how theseunregulated financial activities influence students' financial behaviors and their interaction with digital marketing.Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study integrates quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to capturea broad spectrum of impacts. The quantitative component involved administering structured questionnaires to 10 students, selected through stratified random sampling to ensure diverse representation across academic levels and disciplines. Thequalitative aspect comprised semi-structured interviews with 10 students who had direct or indirect experiences with illegalloans, providing deeper insight into the personal and psychological effects of their financial decisions. The findings reveala significant trend towards increased use of cashless payment methods among students entangled with illegal loans, primarily due to the ease of transaction it offers for loan disbursement and repayment. Moreover, there was a noticeableuptick in students' exposure to aggressive digital marketing campaigns, which often exploit their financial vulnerabilities.Despite these conveniences, the study also uncovered substantial adverse effects, including heightened financial stress andconcerns over data privacy, with over 60% of respondents reporting increased anxiety and intrusive advertising. Theresearch underscores the dual-edged nature of illegal online loans in shaping financial and digital engagement, highlightingthe need for comprehensive regulatory frameworks and consumer education to protect vulnerable populations in the digitalage

Abstract

Red ginger is one of the biopharmaceutical plants that became a favorite when the Covid19 pandemic brokeout. Red ginger can be used as a base for drinks that can increase the body's immunity. Processing red ginger into instantginger drink can provide more economic value to the red ginger commodity itself. With a higher economic value, it willbe possible to increase the profits obtained, so that in the end it will increase farmers' interest in producing the red gingercommodity. In order to further increase profits from the instant red ginger drink business, it is necessary to look at theanalysis of the cost structure and profits obtained as well as the efficiency of the business. The aims of this research are toanalyze the cost structure and profit as well as the efficiency of the instant red ginger drink processing business. Theresearch method used is the case study method. This research was carried out at the Zala Red Ginger UMKM in SouthLampung Regency. The location was chosen deliberately with the consideration that the Zala Red Ginger UMKM is oneof the red ginger agro-industry in South Lampung Regency. This research was carried out from April to September 2024.The results of this research are that the largest proportion in making instant red ginger drinks for UMKM Red Ginger is theraw material cost of red ginger, which is 66,99% and the second largest proportion is packaging costs, which is 13,40% ofthe total costs incurred. The profit obtained by the Zala Red Ginger UMKM instant ginger drink processing business wasIDR 5,035,750.00. The R/C or efficiency of the Zala Red Ginger UMKM instant ginger drink processing business is 1.67

Abstract

Bengkalis Island, based on its geographical circumstances, bordered by the Malacca Strait, Malaysia, from theEast, North, and West, can only be accessed via sea routes which are ro-ro transportation and ferries for the access, moreover, its citizens face challenges, especially in shopping, due to limited access to various goods. In such circumstances,e-commerce platforms like Shopee become crucial. One of its marketing strategies was a Twin Date Festival which canstimulate impulsive purchasing tendencies. Hence, this investigation seeks to find a potential association between Shopee'sTwin Date Festival and Impulsive Buying Behaviour, specifically among the Bengkalis Island Citizens. This study employsquantitative analysis techniques, utilizing the SPSS version 29 software for computations. The methodology encompassesthe distribution of questionnaires alongside observational and documentary methods. A sample of 150 respondents receivedthe questionnaires. Findings indicate a significant correlation between Shopee's Twin Date Festival and Impulsive Buyingbehaviors among Island Communities in the Bengkalis District, supported by a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 and aPearson correlation coefficient of 0.554, indicating a moderate relationship strength between the two variables. The positivecorrelation suggests that increased occurrences of Shopee's Twin Date Festival are associated with heightened impulsivebuying tendencies among Island Citizens in the Bengkalis District.

Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to detect the detection of Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS) attacks in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) environments using machine learning techniques. ThePRISMA approach was used to ensure a comprehensive and transparent review process. The underlyingarchitecture of SDN is highly vulnerable to DDoS attacks and thus requires efficient detection mechanisms. This review covers the application of various machine learning algorithms, such as Random Forest, SupportVector Machine (SVM), and Neural Networks, and their effectiveness in identifying anomalous traffic. Datafrom Scopus-indexed journals between 2016 and 2024 is used to provide a comprehensive picture of recentadvances in this field. The research found that machine learning algorithms were able to increase the level ofaccuracy in DDoS detection, but also identified significant challenges such as the limitations of high-qualitydatasets that reflect real network traffic and the need for real-time detection at large network scales. In addition, the computational complexity of deep learning models and resource efficiency in practical applications are alsochallenges that need to be resolved. The results of these observations lead to recommendations for developingmore efficient algorithms, optimizing the use of computing resources, and improving dataset quality to supportmore accurate and faster DDoS detection in SDN environments.
