Abstract

The transmission of viral diseases, such as COVID-19, influenza, and other viral strains, poses a substantial worldwide challenge. In the context of health, it is necessary to possess a comprehensive comprehension, meticulous examination, and precise anticipation of the dissemination of this infectious disease. Nonetheless, the presence of diverse data characteristics among different nations poses a considerable obstacle in the development of prediction models for assessing the transmission, mortality, and recovery rates in Indonesia. Understanding the intricacies of viral transmission poses a significant hurdle because to the fluctuating nature of the generalization rate, which is contingent upon country-specific data. The research entailed a comparison of different predictive models, including Random Forest, Simple Linear Regression (SLR), Gaussian Naive Bayes, Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), H2O, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), with the purpose of predicting viral transmission. The evaluation metrics encompass MAE, RMSE, and MAPE. The outcomes of the examination of comparison models will aid in identifying the most suitable model for forecasting the transmission of the virus, encompassing the rates of recovery, death, and positive cases, within the specific setting of Indonesia. This work has significance in elucidating the inherent trade-off between efficiency and accuracy within the realm of dynamic data modeling, specifically in the context of COVID-19 viral data.

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of a silica (SiO2) nanofluid flow system on the radiator performance function. The initial preparation is to take SEM photos to find out the microstructure. Next, mix the silica nanoparticles with water using a variation of 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5%, using a magnetic stirrer, to disperse the mixture, an ultrasound device is used. The liquid that has been separated from the sediment is tested using a series of test equipment consisting of a radiator, flow meter, pump, heater, water tank, and term reader. Data taken is the temperature of the liquid entering and leaving the radiator and the walls entering and leaving the radiator. This research uses 3 variations of fluid flow velocity, namely 2.5, 4.5, and 6 LPM. The result is a decrease in temperature at a fluid flow rate of 6 LPM which is able to release heat to the environment properly. The temperature drop that occurred was 2.5%. then the lowest average radiator effectiveness value at the lowest speed of 6 LPM is 0.905, the highest is at a fluid flow rate of 4.5 of 0.930.

Abstract

The Underlying cause of death is an event or condition without which the patient would not have died. The aim of the research is to determine the accuracy of writing the sequence of causes of perinatal death based on mortality rules The research method used in this research is descriptive research, with a retrospective approach. Data collection using observation and interviews. The research population was 50 medical record documents of patients who died perinatally in 2018-2022 using a saturated sampling technique. The percentage of accuracy in writing the sequence of perinatal deaths at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta shows 100% inaccurate. The writing inaccuracy is due to the writing not being in accordance with the existing standart Operating Procedure, the order of perinatal death is still written on the medical certificate for the cause of adult death. The accuracy of writing the order of perinatal deaths is still relatively low. It would be better if the hospital further increases its outreach activities so that medical personnel can write the order of death on the certificate correctly in accordance with the rules or standards that apply in the hospital.
