Abstract

Cashew nuts (Anacardium occidentale) are plants with great potential and high economic value in West Nusa Tenggara Province. East Lombok Regency is one of the cashew producing areas in Indonesia. Local people usually call it guava jemet or guava jebet. So far, cashew farming communities have only used the true fruit or what is better known as the seeds for sale. However, in reality, the pseudo-fruit of cashew nuts or what is commonly referred to as the fruit can be processed into a product that has high economic value, namely made into shredded meat. Shredded cashew is usually made from cashew fruit that is quite old or already ripe. Thus, the aim of making cashew floss is to create a new innovative product by optimizing the use of cashew fruit as an ingredient for making shredded cashew fruit, so that it can produce cashew floss with good quality and high selling value and is beneficial for consumers. This method of making shredded meat starts from the tool and material preparation stage, the processing stage, the shredded making stage, and the evaluation stage. Then a report is prepared and the article is published. It is hoped that the results of this activity will become an innovative product with high sales value and be published as an article that can be used as a reference for optimizing natural resources.

Illiteracy is the inability to read, write and count simple sentences. The illiteracy rate for those aged 15-59 years in West Nusa Tenggara Province is still quite high, even above the national figure with a percentage of 7.91%, especially in Central Lombok Regency. Data from the Central Lombok Regency Government shows that up to 2015, 1,970 residents of various ages were recorded as illiterate. The main goal of literacy education is to teach students to be able to utilize the basic skills of reading, writing, arithmetic, discussion and action (Calistungdasi), as well as their functional abilities in everyday life. The objectives of this activity include: 1) so that people are able to read, write and count; 2) so that society is able to compete in facing advances in technology and in social life; 3) so that people can easily accept empowerment programs from the government; and 4) so that people are able to become instructors for other communities. Based on the results of activities, observations and implementation of work programs that have been planned, prepared and implemented, several conclusions can be drawn, including: 1) the success of activities cannot be separated from cooperation between the implementation of activities and village officials, the community and all parties who assist and support the implementation of community service activities. Without good cooperation, the work program will not run smoothly; 2) with the implementation of activities, the community tries to imitate the way of thinking in implementing critical activities, especially for illiterate residents; 3) by carrying out activities, the community is helped by increasing the information and knowledge they obtain from carrying out activities; and 4) implementing activities to gain knowledge and learn how to live from village people, such as: mutual cooperation, friendship, and helping each other.

Abstract

The discovery of computers had an impact on the field of education. Some of these impacts are positive or beneficial, but there are also negative or detrimental ones. In the field of education, computers are used as a learning tool. This means that computers are used to help teachers and students in the learning process. For example, computers are used to do assignments, type assignments, search for learning materials on the internet, and so on. Abstract

Packaging waste for products or goods that are no longer used can still be recycled into goods that are useful and economically valuable. In general, inorganic waste is very difficult to decompose naturally. The problem of increasing waste volumes needs to be handled wisely so that environmental pollution can be avoided, especially inorganic waste in the form of plastic bottles. The state of society in handling waste, especially plastic bottles, is still very low. One way that can be done is by providing education and direct assistance to the public regarding techniques for managing inorganic waste, especially used bottles or other plastic containers into more useful products. Utilizing used bottles as a medium for hydroponic plants is an effective way to raise public interest and awareness about the importance of managing plastic bottle waste. This activity is also a means of learning and motivating the community about hydroponic business opportunities using plastic bottles. Apart from that, this can be a very productive alternative activity for society.
