Gunung Djati Conference Series merupakan penyedia layanan publikasi dan konferensi berbagai bidang keilmuan yang diterbitkan oleh UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian. Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel, kemudian penerbit menyerahkan semua template ke pelaksana konferensi keilmuan. Penerbitan artikel ini dilakukan sesuai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh penyelenggara konferensi.

Abstract

His study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements in the novel "Kotak Waktu" by Pudjangga Lama through Robert Stanton's Structuralism approach. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this study is the novel "Kotak Waktu" by Pudjangga Lama. Data was obtained through literature study by reading, recording, and classifying the data found in the novel "Kotak Waktu". The results of this study indicate that the novel "Kotak Waktu" by Pudjangga Lama has the theme of Existentialism and Reflection on the Journey of Time Taka and his four friends in the past and in the future, varied characters and their characterization, using a mixed plot (forward-backward), as well as setting, place, time, and style of language that build on each other. The point of view used in this novel is the third person omniscient. And the message in the novel "Kotak Waktu" by Pudjangga Lama is to always maintain relationships with fellow human beings.

Abstract

The film Wadjda (2012), directed by Haifaa al-Mansour, tells the story of a Saudi girl who rebels against gender norms with her ambition to obtain a green bicycle. This study examines Wadjda's psychological journey in fulfilling Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs—from basic needs, safety, love and esteem, to self-actualization—within a feminist framework. The method used is a semiotic text analysis of key scenes, combined with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results show that Wadjda's simple act of riding a bicycle becomes a symbol of women's independence and freedom in a patriarchal society, marking the phase of self-actualization. Meanwhile, the roles of the family, school, and patriarchal society reveal the overlapping dynamics of security and self-esteem needs. This study is significant as it enriches feminist scholarship with Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory in Arab countries from a psychological perspective, and offers a new perspective for analyzing non-Western films within gender and developmental psychology discourse.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: Determine the magnitude of the contribution of the metacognitive awareness component to the component of high-order thinking ability of class X students about biodiversity at SMA N 1 Batang Kuis. Determine the magnitude of the contribution of the scientific attitude component to the component of high-order thinking ability of class X students about biodiversity at SMA N 1 Batang Kuis. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive approach research, which studies the magnitude of the contribution of aspects of metacognitive awareness and scientific attitudes to the high-order thinking skills of class X students. The results of this research are: The aspects of metacognitive awareness components that contribute most to the high-order thinking skills of class X students about biodiversity in SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis are evaluation (X1.8), improvement strategies (X1.7), planning (X1.4), monitoring comprehension (X1.6) and declarative knowledge (X1.1) with a contribution of 69.8%. The aspects of scientific attitude components that contribute most to the high-order thinking skills of class X students about biodiversity in SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis are the aspects of interest in increasing time to study science (X2.6) and career interest in science (X2.7) with a contribution of 62.5%.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is not just about memorizing vocabulary or understanding grammar, but requires a curriculum that is carefully designed to be able to answer the needs of students and adapt to the times. This study aims to discuss the main principles that must be the basis for compiling an Arabic curriculum, including the relevance of the material, continuity between levels, flexibility of content, and effectiveness and efficiency of implementation. This study uses a literature study method, the author examines various literature related to the design of the Arabic curriculum in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that linguistic principles, communicative principles, attention to student needs, and a competency-based approach are key elements in creating a meaningful and contextual learning process. A curriculum built on these principles is believed to be more capable of supporting students in mastering Arabic actively and applicatively.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana peranan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematis serta memperkuat self-confidence (kepercayaan diri) mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA dimana penulis mengumpulkan data melalui dokumentasi dan tinjauan terhadap artikel-artikel terkait pembelajarn berdiferensiasi, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, dan self-confidence, yang di publikasikan anatara tahun 2022-2024. Artikel-artikel tersebut dapat diakses dan diunduh melalui database online seperti Google Sholar, Publish or Perish, dan SINTA. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan meliputi pengelompokan data, analisis data, serta penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan temuan yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kepercyaan diri siswa.

Abstract

To truly understand Arabic and its intricacies, effective and efficient Arabic language learning is necessary. To achieve effective and efficient Arabic learning, careful planning in the form of a curriculum is required. In teaching Arabic language, the curriculum is developed based on certain foundations. The purpose of this paper is to describe the foundations in designing an Arabic language curriculum. This paper focuses solely on the sociological, psychological, scientific, and technological foundations. This study uses qualitative data, which is presented in verbal form rather than in numbers. Data was collected using the literature review technique, namely by studying theories from various relevant sources. After collecting the data, it is presented in the discussion section. The findings of this paper reveal that there are many fundamental aspects to consider before designing an Arabic language curriculum. However, this paper specifically discusses the sociological, psychological, scientific, and technological aspects. The sociological aspect ensures that the curriculum is relevant to social needs. The psychological aspect helps in understanding the mental and emotional development of learners, so that Arabic teaching methods can be adapted to their age, interests, and abilities. Science serves as the foundation for selecting theories that support language skills, while technology facilitates the learning process. These aspects complement each other to create an effective and innovative Arabic language curriculum, so that Arabic learning is not only theoretical but also practical and contextual.

Abstract

Banyak siswa percaya bahwa matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang menantang. Hasil belajar matematika yang menjadi buktinya. Siswa akan tampil lebih baik jika mereka memahami apa yang mereka pelajari. Untuk menangkap sesuatu, media sangat penting. Siswa dapat lebih memahami konsep abstrak dengan menggunakan media. Media juga membantu siswa dalam mendemistifikasi ide-ide kompleks. Alhasil, kemajuan ini menjadi media matematika dalam kriteria kompetensi pemecahan masalah berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan memperhatikan kemampuan teknis seseorang sangat ditingkatkan dengan belajar menggunakan media ICT. Penggunaan media ICT berupaya memotivasi siswa untuk lebih inventif dan kreatif di dalam kelas serta memperhatikan kelebihan mereka dalam mempelajari matematika serta mengeksplorasi dan memahami teknologi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana ICT dapat diterapkan untuk pendidikan matematika. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ICT dalam pembelajaran matematika memiliki beberapa manfaat. ICT juga memainkan peran ganda dalam pendidikan dan dapat digunakan untuk menerapkan teknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian lebih mendalam mengenai penggunaan software geogebra dalam pembelajaran geometri transformasi (translasi dan refleksi) dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifyang termasuk ke dalam studi pustaka, dimana dilakukan analisis secara mendalam mengenai jurnal dan tulisan yang sesuai dengan subjek penelitian sebagai metode penelitian yang digunakan. Dari temuan penelitian didapatkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar siswa dalam materi geometri transformasi (translasi dan refleksi) dapat menggunakan geogebra sebagai alat bantu untuk pembelajaran siswa. Dalam pengaplikasian penggunaan media pembelajaran geogebra ini diperlukan guru yang sudah menguasi aplikasi geogebra serta bisa menjadi demonstran cara penggunaannya kepada para siswa. Disamping itu para siswa harus mendapat latihan secara berkala untuk menstimulus kemampuan mereka dalam bernalar. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara 1) guru mencari tahu pengetahuan awal siswa terhadap materi. 2) guru mulai menjelaskan materi berbantuan software geogebra. 3) guru mendemonstrasikan penggunaan software geogebra untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika. 4) siswa diberi kesempatan untuk mencoba menyelesaikan masalah dengan software geogebra. 5) guru memberi masalah baru yang bisa menggugah pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep materi tersebut sehingga dapat mengaplikasikannya melalui software geogebra.

Abstract

Abstrak Self confidence merupakan karakter yang penting dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, karena dengan adanya kepercayaan diri, seseorang mampu mengaktualisasikan segala potensi yang ada di dalam dirinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian kuantitatif dan dilakukan di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 4 dan 6 Prodi Pendidikan Matematika UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan tipe stratified random sampling.Kepercayaan diri ini dapat membantu dalam menumbuhkan potensi diri agar mencapai prestasi belajar. Self confidence membuat pelajar dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan yang dimiliki dan mengatasi kekurangan melalui bertanya baik dengan bertanya langsung pada dosen atau berdiskusi dengan temannya. Self confidence Mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika semester 4 dan 6 berada pada kategori tinggi yang mengakibatkan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar mereka juga berada pada kategori tinggi.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari angket yang telah disebarkan dan hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self confidence dan nilai geometri mahasiswa prodi matematika semester 4 dan 6 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using picture media in Arabic language instruction to enhance vocabulary (mufradat) memorization skills among seventh-grade students at MTs Sirnamiskin. The research employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test model. A total of 31 students participated as the research sample, comprising 22 males and 9 females, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using vocabulary memorization tests administered before and after the intervention, as well as through observation and documentation. The learning intervention involved integrating picture media into Arabic lessons across two cycles, focusing on the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The findings indicate a notable improvement in students' vocabulary memorization abilities, with the average pre-test score increasing from 60 in the first cycle to 70 in the second cycle, and the post-test scores rising to 75 and 85, respectively. Students showed higher engagement and retention when vocabulary was introduced through relevant and visually appealing images. The observations further confirmed increased participation and enthusiasm during lessons using picture media. In conclusion, the use of picture media proves to be an effective instructional strategy in Arabic language learning, particularly for enhancing students’ ability to memorize mufradat. It is recommended that Arabic language teachers incorporate picture media into their teaching practices to support more engaging and meaningful learning experiences at the secondary school level.
