Abstract

Based on the results of observations, it was found that the learning process at SD Negeri 195 Palembang was the lack of media use so that students did not understand the material for theGaruda Pancasila symbol. Students have difficulty in understanding the material of the GarudaPancasila symbol and the learning media used are less effective, and the packaged learning systemis not yet attractive and optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of third grade Civics at SD Negeri 195 Palembang. This research method uses a pre-experimental design method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used observation, test, and documentation, while the data analysis technique used the t test. Based on the results, it was found that the highest average test result was found in the final test (posttest) of 66.11, while the average for the initial test (prestest) was 48.29. Thus, there was an increase after the application of the influence of audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of third grade PKN students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the form of presentation of the Duson Birth RegionalSong at the Prabumulih City Art Team. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative researchmethods, namely by presenting data and using a sentence in the form of text. The object of thisresearch is the songwriter teacher Duson Kelahira, while the informant is a member of the Prabumulih City Art Studio. Qualitative research method is a research process that begins withthe rules of thinking and formulating basic assumptions that will be included in the research. The results of the study found that the community in Prabumuih City lacked interest in the existingTraditions and Culture so that the birth of the Duson Song was created to give a message tooutsiders that Prabumulih City is rich in Natural Resources (SDA) such as Oil, Gas, Rubber, Palm, Pineapple, and Cultural Traditions that are still very beautiful in the Prabumulih City community.

Abstract

The use of smartphones in online learning is indeed very useful for students to learn. In fact, not all students use smartphones wisely to study, so students become unfocused in learning. The use of smartphones is misused in online learning such as for playing games, social media and others. The purpose of this study was to see how effective the kids mode application was to control the use of smartphones in online learning at SDN Sosa Timur District, Padang Lawas Regency, NorthSumatra. The type of research used is quantitative research. With a population of SDN Papaso IIand SDN Pir Trans Sosa 1A class VI with a total of 66 people. The sampling technique used ispurposive random sampling. While the test instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale 4. The validity test of the questionnaire is valid with a value of rcount > rtable and a reliability test of 0.866> 0.70 which means reliable. The results of the study after being processed using SPSS obtained the hypothesis is 0.784 which means that H1 is accepted H0 is rejected, namely the use of the kids mode application to control the use of smartphones when online learning is effective and can be used in improving student learning outcomes, with an effectiveness of 61.5%. So, the use of the Kids Mode Application during the COVID-19 pandemic is effectively used as a tool used by parents in controlling students' learning when parents are busy, so that in this way parents no longer worry about their children when using smartphones.

Abstract

Education cannot be separated from the teaching and learning process between teachers and students in a school institution, which plays an active role in providing education to students. This research if focused on extracurricular activities in school, Lahat district itself not only has a lot of diversity in dance, but also includes an area dubbed the student city because of the many schools that were established there, so the researchers chose to develop the art of dance, one of which is the Siwar dance throught extracurricular activities at school. Therefore, of couse, there are difficulties that often arise inlearning the siwar dance in extracurriculler activities, including students finding it difficult to understand the movements when demonstrastrating the dance using the siwar directly,because it takes strong concentration to establish the siwar on the fingers.With this the writer aimed to describe about Siwar Dance Lesson on Extracurricular Activity in MTS Negeri 1 Lahat by using Drill method. With qualitativedescriptive as the research method and withobservation,interviewsalso documentation as collectingdata. The result shown that the extracurricular activity in MTS Negeri 1 Lahat run well so it created achievements and becoming the sample for another extracurricular activity. The benefit of this research is to share the knowladge especially in educationand as references for the next researcher.

Abstract

Gending Sriwijaya dance learning is carried out through online and offline learning where students are divided 50% online and 50% offline. The problem in the study is how to describe the learning of Sriwijaya Gending Dance in class XI at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang through online and offline learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe how to prepare for the implementation and evaluation of learning Gending Sriwijaya Dance in class XI at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were teachers and students. The activity stage in the learning process of Gending Sriwijaya dance includes preparation, implementation and evaluation of learning.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to study the stylistics of the oral literature of Tembang fromSangaDesa, MusiBanyuasin Regency based on figurative language and imagery. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe figurative language and imagery in the study of Tembangstylistics from Sanga Village, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The source of data in this study is video recording from YouTube. The videos that will be analyzed are 3 videos of Tembang chanting, namely Tembang from SangaDesa sung by a young woman from SangaDesa (SMAN1 SanDes Channel) July 2020 edition, Tembang sung by parents/artists of Tembang from Ngulak, SangaDesaSubdistrict (ImahNurdin ) April 2017 edition and a song sung by a Tembang artist from Ngulak, Sanga Desa Subdistrict (Budaya Muba) May 2021 edition. The results of the research on the stylistic study of Tembang from Sanga Desa, Musi Banyuasin Regency, obtained 10 language styles and 5 imagery which has 4 lines in each stanzas. The language style studied consisted of simile, metaphor, ellipsis, repetition, litotes, hyperbole, personification, irony, association and cynicism while the imagery consisted of visual, auditory, motion, smell and taste images.

Abstract

This research is based on several problems, namely in the process of monitoring worship in schools, teachers monitor students once a week which is inefficient. Another problem is the worship and student monitoring reports can be lost because they are only summarized on paper. Not infrequently students are less honest when filling out their worship records because worship reports are not made routinely by the teacher. This is what motivates the author to design a web-based daily worship monitoring application.For students this application is designed with the hope of helping and making it easier for teachers and students to monitor the daily worship that has taken place. The research method used by the author is a research and development method. This method is a research method used to develop or validate products for use in education and learning. The research model used is the ADDIE model which is the Waterfall version of the development model, namely design, develop, implement, evaluate and SDLC. Monitoring of student worship, which is one of the activities in schools designed to monitor the performance of students' daily worship. This application is designed by the author using the PHP MySQLprogramming language. In this study, the authors conducted a trial for the product, namely using the effectiveness test, practicality test and effectiveness test. The research conducted by the author resulted in a web-based student worship monitoring application at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This app is available for students and teachers. From the product validity test the results are proven valid, the validity test is carried out by 3 experts who have expertise in the fields of computing and education. In addition, the teacher's practicality test resulted in a very practical score. Students are then tested foreffectiveness only to get Effective results.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved from this research are to know the concept of the work program of the Sedulang Setudung art studio and to know and describe the role of any work programs that affect the Sedulang Setudung art studio to the development of the Sedulang Setudung dance in Banyuasin III district. The focus of this research is the work program of the Sedulang art studio. The method used in this research is to use qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this study are by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of his research from the dance performances and competitions that were followed were an effort to spread the dance to be more widespread and known to the public through the Sedulang Setudung art studio that exists to this day and has received various awards, trophies, charters. and began to be in great demand by young people in the Banyuasin III sub-district with the existence of the Sedulang Setudung art studio, making it a place to get to know the traditional dances of the Banyuasin district, especially the Sedulang Setudung dance which is a mandatory dance in the Banyuasin district in order to remain sustainable.

Abstract

Rejung is a regional art of South Sumatra through the spread of Besemah culture. The form of thepackage is a rhyme that uses the Besemah language, developed and equipped with guitaraccompaniment. The problem in this study is the lack of appreciation of the art of rejung to thecommunity in Ulak Agung Kisam Village, Muara Dua Kisam District, South OKU. The purpose ofthis study was to introduce Rejung Art as a local culture in the province of South Sumatra, in UlakAgung Kisam Village, Muara Dua Kisam District, South OKU. The research method used isdescriptive qualitative. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Dataanalysis using; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This researchresulted in the style and technique of presenting Rejung Meringit/Lamentations, Petik Dawi andFate by Orpin Malhadi. The style of mentioning kate-kate Pronunciation of letters in the chantingof the art of rejung, rejung has characteristics and characters on the emphasis of the letters /E/,/I/, and /U/, which can be used at the beginning, middle, suffix, and a mixture of syllables in thepoem , and do the opening in the first remarks and improvisation or creation of rhymes. Thetechnique used is to tell in advance the purpose and theme of the rejung that will be presented,with spontaneity, improvising the rhyme according to the expression of taste, as well as how to sit with the slapstage and using the method with crooked or voice color that has its own character.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop scientific-based teaching materials on the theme of heat and its transfer in class V SD, (2) describe the feasibility of scientific-based teaching materials to be developed on the theme of heat and its transfer in class V SD, (3) determine the response students towards scientificbased teaching materials on the theme of heat and its transfer in the fifth grade of elementary school. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were material expert validators, teaching materials design experts, learning experts (class V teachers) and fifth grade students. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the analysis of the data obtained through the validity test of materialexperts, teaching materials design experts, teacher responses, and student responses. The results of the validation by material experts are 76% including the good/decent category. The results of the validation by teaching materials design experts are 78.4% including the good/decent category. The results of the validation of the fifth grade teacher's responses are 95% in the very good/very decent category, while for student responses, 88% is in the very good/very decent category. Based on the results of the percentage of material experts, teaching materials design experts, teacher responses andstudent responses, then calculated the average result is 84.24% included in the very good/very suitable category for use in the learning process.
