Abstract

Feminism is an ideology that advocates for gender equality, emphasizing that men and women are entitled to equal rights across all aspects of life. While Islam also upholds women's rights, equating it directly with feminism can be misleading. Both frameworks share a common emphasis on equality, yet they operate within distinct philosophical and cultural contexts. Islam emphasizes equality before God, particularly in worship and moral responsibility, whereas feminism broadly addresses systemic gender disparities in societal and political realms. This research examines the intersection and divergence between feminist ideology and Islamic principles concerning women's rights. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, the study analyzes scholarly works from the Scopus database, published between 2020 and 2024. Findings indicate that recent research tends to focus on women's societal roles, such as maternity, abortion, and marriage, within the scope of either feminism or Islam, but rarely in direct comparison. Moreover, feminist discourse often extends beyond traditional gender roles, demanding broader rights that are not always framed in Islamic discourse. This research contributes to a clearer understanding of where feminism and Islam converge and diverge, offering insights for future interdisciplinary studies on gender, religion, and rights. Further research is recommended to expand the scope beyond Asia and include diverse cultural perspectives.

Abstract

Legal culture plays a very important role in law enforcement because the law is heavily influenced by the legal culture in the form of values, views, and attitudes within society. Therefore, legal culture and law enforcement are two interconnected elements. One of the problems currently faced by the Indonesian nation is the low legal culture among its citizens. This is clearly reflected in the situations that are currently prevalent in Indonesia. The method in this study is library research, which involves collecting data through scientific literature. The results of this study are as follows: First, legal culture is the overall attitude of citizens, which is general in nature, along with societal values that determine how the law should apply in society; Second, the characteristics of legal culture include public awareness of the importance of law as a foundation for just and orderly community life; Third, the application of legal culture is crucial in the context of international relations, as each country has a different legal system, and understanding and appreciating the legal culture of other countries will facilitate cooperation and relations between nations.

Abstract

In the procurement process for goods and services, the use of domestic products is emphasized in Government Regulation No. 29 of 2018 regarding Industrial Empowerment, which mandates the use of Domestic Products (PDN) with a minimum Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 40%. This regulation, outlined in Article 57, focuses on the inclusion of domestic components in various products and services, including construction works, which must adhere to TKDN provisions. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has taken significant steps to support the use of domestic products by establishing the 2022-2024 Domestic Product Improvement Team (P3DN) in March 2022, followed by the issuance of Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2022. This aims to accelerate the use of domestic products and promote small businesses through the National Movement Proud of Made in Indonesia. The TKDN is calculated based on the proportion of locally sourced materials and equipment in a product or service, and construction sectors like highways, dams, and irrigation works fall under the purview of various directorates at the Ministry of PUPR. This study investigates how these policies influence the procurement decisions in infrastructure projects and the impact of TKDN on vendor selection processes, particularly in large-scale construction projects such as road building and bridge construction. The findings are expected to contribute to a better understanding of TKDN implementation in the construction industry, offering insights into the challenges and opportunities of integrating domestic products into public procurement.

Abstract

Robotic arms have become integral in the manufacturing sector for automating repetitive tasks such as pick-and-place operations, which were traditionally performed manually. Manual execution is often limited by human fatigue, reduced accuracy, and the risk of injury, prompting a shift toward robotic automation. While single-arm robotic systems have been widely adopted, recent advancements now enable dual-arm collaboration, which introduces new technical challenges related to synchronization, precision, and object tracking. This study addresses these challenges by implementing an object detection system using YOLOv5 combined with HSV filtering to optimize performance under low computational constraints. The system communicates with robotic pole-arms via Python through Arduino serial communication. A perspective transformation technique is employed to ensure accurate mapping between 2D camera input and the robot's 3D operational space. The trained detection model achieved a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 97.7% at 0.5 and 60% at 0.5:0.95. Object detection testing yielded high evaluation metrics, including a precision of 1.00, a recall of 0.977, and an F1 score of 0.96. In real-world testing, the pick-and-place process demonstrated success rates of 95%, 85%, and 85% across three trials. These results indicate that the proposed system is highly effective for industrial applications and lays a foundation for further research into collaborative robot systems in dynamic environments.

Abstract

This research explores how transformational leadership and organizational culture affect the motivation levels of civil servants working at the Pontianak City Library and Archives Service. Grounded in the premise that effective leadership and a constructive organizational culture are critical drivers of public sector performance, the research aims to identify the extent to which these variables impact employee motivation in this bureaucratic setting. Employing a quantitative associative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires and interviews with agency leadership and staff, followed by statistical analysis including validity, reliability, linearity, multicollinearity, and multiple regression tests. The findings reveal that both transformational leadership and organizational culture significantly and positively affect employee motivation, both individually and simultaneously. The regression results show that organizational culture has a stronger impact (β = 0.556) compared to transformational leadership (β = 0.280). These results underscore the importance of fostering a strong organizational culture alongside effective leadership practices to enhance civil servant motivation. The study contributes to leadership and organizational theory in the public sector and offers practical implications for policy implementation and human resource development within government institutions. Future research may explore mediating variables such as job satisfaction, conduct comparative studies across regions, or examine the role of digital leadership in shaping motivation within bureaucratic environments.
