The data used in this study is panel data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency covering 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022. The results of this study indicate that the economic growth rate has a positive but not significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia, the non-oil import ratio has a positive and significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia, the foreign direct investment ratio has a negative but not significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia, while the non-oil export ratio does not have a significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Malaria is still a significant problem in Indonesia due to its contagious nature, as it causes death, especially in children under the age of five. Based on 2019 data, there have been 409,000 deaths from malaria out of 229 million recorded malaria cases worldwide. WHO launched that in Indonesia there were 1,412 deaths from malaria from 811,636 new cases of malaria in 2021 in Indonesia. 89% of malaria cases in Indonesia occur in Papua Province. Fakfak Regency in 2023 will experience an increase in cases to 180 cases with API 2.2 per 1,000 population and still 50 Indigenous cases. This study aims to analyze the environmental factors that are most at risk for malaria incidence in Fakfak Regency, West Papua. Method: The study is observational with a Case-control research design. The 100 respondents used a total sampling consisting of 50 positive malaria cases with indigenous classification and 50 controls. Results: The most potential environmental risk factors for malaria incidence were the presence of breeding places with p-values of 0.000 and OR 13,903 (95%CI: 3,374-57,287), and night exit habits (p-value 0.045; OR 1,678). One important step is to break the chain of transmission by controlling environmental factors, namely the eradication of vector breeding sites, larvicide in puddles, cleaning of anopheles vector rest areas, the use of mosquito nets, Insect Residual Spraying (IRS), and other activities that can encourage the breaking of the chain of malaria transmission, which is carried out in an integrated manner by the community.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been one of the business sectors significantly affected by the changes brought about by Covid-19. Many MSMEs have successfully overcome the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic. Particularly, leadership patterns focusing on knowledge, or knowledge-oriented leadership, have emerged as one of the key factors for MSME leaders to develop their businesses. In addition to leadership patterns, MSMEs also emphasize innovative work behavior within the workplace environment, complemented by communication systems focused on knowledge sharing. This study examines the relationship between leadership patterns and knowledge-focused communication towards innovative behavior within the workplace environment. The research involved 600 MSME employees scattered across Indonesia. The study utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS in data management processes. The findings of this study indicate that knowledge-oriented leadership significantly and positively impacts the development of innovative work behavior within the MSME workplace environment. Furthermore, knowledge sharing significantly serves as a mediator for the relationship between knowledge-oriented leadership and the enhancement of innovative work behavior within the MSME workplace environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence taxpayer compliance with the implementation of the PBB-P2 policy in the Regional Revenue Subdistrict of North Jakarta Administrative City and Kepulauan Seribu Regency using descriptive qualitative data sourced from secondary data. The research results show that from the dimension of policy accuracy, it shows that the implementation of the PBB-P2 incentive policy from the realization of PBB-P2 revenues in the implementation of the incentive policy, there is a less than optimal contribution from the realization of PBB-P2 revenues in the Administrative City of North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Regency during the period 2021 and 2022 which indicates that the tax incentive policy has less influence in increasing PBB-P2 taxpayer compliance in the North Jakarta Administrative City and Seribu Islands Regency areas. Judging from the dimension of accuracy of implementation, problems were found related to PBB-P2 tax potential which had not been optimized, one of which was on Maju Island, which is on a reclamation island in the North Jakarta area. Implementation of the PBB-P2 policy was influenced by the socialization of taxation and digitalization of services. The wider tax socialization carried out through the implementation of optimal digitalization of services can increase PBB-P2 taxpayer compliance. Judging from the dimension of target accuracy in implementing the PBB-P2 incentive policy through socialization of taxation and digitalization of services together, it can influence the level of compliance of PBB-P2 taxpayers in the Regional Revenue Sub-Agency of North Jakarta Administrative City and Kepuluan Seribu Regency.

Abstract

The Breadwinner film is one of the films that have elements related to gender in it. The approach of this research is a qualitative descriptive research type, with data analysis using the method of Miles and Huberman. The semiotic analysis used the Roland Barthes analysis model which divides the stages into three, namely denotation, connotation, and myth. The results of this study are that gender in this film has a denotative meaning where women have demands to behave and act according to their environment, a connotative meaning where people put a lot of emphasis on how women should behave through verbal utterances, and myths about culture taken from one interpretation of the verses of the Al-Quran regarding women.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with many potential places that can be used as tourist destinations. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) states that as of 2021 Indonesia has a total of 2,552 destinations in the tourism industry. The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia was hampered by the pandemic that had hit the country for approximately 2 years, which caused a narrow space for tourists to move. On the other hand, the use of digital technology has increased during the pandemic era. Artificial intelligence is one of the technologies that also developed during the pandemic. This technology allows for a program to think like a human and help facilitate daily activities and work. This design has the aim of creating an application display design that can implement artificial intelligence in a mobile application for the needs of the tourism industry. The method used in this design is the Design Thinking method popularized by Kelley and Brown from IDEO, consisting of the Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing stages. The result of this design is a design of a mobile application interface for the tourism industry, with the implementation of artificial intelligence and various features, and contains information about various tourist destinations, as well as designing its trials easily by users.

The following research will include comparative studies on companies in Indonesia and Malaysia. This research uses quantitative methods with a causality approach. Purposive sampling is a research methodology used in sampling techniques. This research was conducted on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Malaysia Stock Exchange during the period 2019 to 2021. The findings of this research reveal that there are differences between Indonesia and Malaysia. The findings of a study conducted in Indonesia show that factors such as capital structure, profitability and corporate governance have a significant influence on earnings quality. However, the findings of a study conducted in Malaysia show that only profitability has an influence on earnings quality. The findings of this research also indicate that companies located in Indonesia and Malaysia in terms of the influence of capital structure and corporate governance on earnings quality have no impact on company valuation. The influence of profitability on earnings quality in Malaysia has an impact on company value.
