Abstract

Physical fitness is an essential factor in supporting students' health and academic performance. Nutritional status and sports activity play a role in determining a person's level of physical fitness. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and sports activity with the physical fitness level of students at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. This study employs a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of students from SMAN 6 Pekanbaru selected using the purposive sampling method. Nutritional status was measured using Body Mass Index (BMI), sports activity was assessed through a physical activity questionnaire, and physical fitness was evaluated using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). Data analysis was conducted using statistical correlation tests to determine the relationships between the study variables. The results showed a significant relationship between nutritional status and sports activity with students' physical fitness levels (p < 0.05). Students with normal nutritional status and higher sports activity levels exhibited better physical fitness compared to those who were less active or had non-ideal nutritional status. Therefore, maintaining a balanced diet and engaging in regular exercise is crucial for improving students' physical fitness.

Abstract

APM is an Independent Registration Platform, which at first glance looks like an ATM machine, which allows general patients and BPJS patients who have been recorded (have had previous treatment at the hospital) to register and receive an SEP letter (Patient Eligibility Letter) without having to go through the registration counter. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of patient understanding of the use of self-registration platforms with variables of content, format, accuracy variables, timeliness, and ease of use. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a cross sectional design, which is carried out in the outpatient unit of the Awal Bros Panam Hospital with a total of 100 patient respondents with the Accidental Sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that in general, there are still many patients who do not understand the use of self-registration platforms, due to the habit of not reading the provisions and guidelines that have been provided by the hospital and are more likely to need officers than to register independently using a self-registration platform machine, so it is recommended to add educational procedures that are easily understood by patients using local languages and add educational tvs near the self-registration platform machine.

Abstract

Referral system is the organization of health services regulate the delegation of duties and responsibilities of health services in a comprehensive manner feedback both vertically and horizontally. In the administrative service system, for handling patients, the Social Security Administering Agency itself has a certain flow which serves as a separation between the hospital's default administrative system and the Social Security Administering Agency. This research aimed to determine patient compliance with the Social Security Administering Agency for Health in the Referral Service Procedures of the Social Security Administering Agency at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province in 2023. This research used qualitative descriptive research design. This research was conducted by conducting in-depth interviews with 7 informants. This research was carried out in August-September 2023. The results of the research showed that the majority of patients or patient families had followed and complied with the flow and requirements of the Health Social Security Administering Body, but there were also those who had not complied with the flow and requirements of the Health Social Security Administering Body.For system referrals from the Social Security Administering Agency for Health run optimally in accordance with the rules of the referral system for the Social Security Administering Agency for Health and Services. Registration officers are in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Abstract

Hospitals not only serve as treatment centers but also as healthcare facilities that carry the risk of becoming sources of infection. One of the efforts to prevent and control infection is by implementing transmission-based precautions. Nurses and medical support staff are healthcare personnel who interact directly with patients. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to observe the level of compliance of nurses and medical support staff in implementing transmission-based precautions at Muhammadiyah Metro Hospital. This research uses a quantitative design with a descriptive approach through observation of healthcare workers’ behavior in the implementation of transmission precaution procedures. The study was conducted from August to October 2023 using random sampling techniques. The compliance level of nurses in implementing transmission-based precautions at Muhammadiyah Metro Hospital shows that a small number still do not comply with the use of droplet personal protective equipment (PPE). The compliance level of medical support staff in implementing transmission-based precautions at Muhammadiyah Metro Hospital has reached a maximum level of 100% in the use of contact, droplet, and airborne PPE. In conclusion, there is a difference in the level of compliance between nurses and medical support staff in implementing transmission-based precautions at Muhammadiyah Metro Hospital.

Abstract

Technology plays a crucial role in supporting life in various aspects, including social, economic, and healthcare sectors within the community. The development of technology in the healthcare field covers several aspects, such as patient services, internal hospital information systems, hospital management, and patient information systems. Some hospitals have implemented online-based information systems for patients. Through these systems, patients can access information related to service schedules, service availability, and types of services offered. However, access to these systems remains limited, generally only available through hospital websites or kiosks located within the hospital. This still restricts patients from obtaining detailed information regarding service availability and travel distance to hospitals based on their specific needs and required treatments. Although travel distance information can already be accessed through various available applications, such information is not yet integrated with the availability of hospital services. Therefore, there is a need for a service and information system that patients can use in the form of an application providing integrated data on service availability and travel distance. The proposed application is Android-based and accessible to the general public, given that most people are already familiar with and capable of using this operating system. The application will provide several input fields that users can fill in, such as patient name, gender, age, address, and medical complaints. These inputs will be processed by the application system to provide information on hospitals that offer the services needed by the patient, along with the travel distance from the patient’s location to each service-providing hospital. The application will also display the fastest route from the patient's location to the selected hospital. The determination of the fastest route utilizes Dijkstra’s Algorithm. Dijkstra’s Algorithm is a mathematical algorithm widely used for optimizing problem-solving conditions. Several similar applications have been developed previously; however, those applications generally only provide information about healthcare locations and general routes in the area. This application, however, is more specifically developed to allow patients to simply input the required healthcare services and their current address or location, which the system will then quickly process to deliver the nearest healthcare solutions and the fastest route to reach them.

Abstract

ABSTRACT ​​Digital transformation in hospital services has become one of the key strategies for improving the quality of healthcare services in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of digital technology implementation, identify challenges encountered during the transformation process, and analyze its implications on the quality of medical services. Using a qualitative approach, the study involves in-depth interviews with ten healthcare professionals from various hospitals across Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using a thematic method to uncover key patterns in the informants' perceptions and experiences. The findings indicate that digitalization can enhance bureaucratic efficiency and the accuracy of medical records, yet it still faces three major challenges: limited training and adaptation among medical staff, dependency on uneven technological infrastructure, and barriers to digital accessibility—particularly for elderly patients or those unfamiliar with technology. These findings support previous literature highlighting the importance of human resource readiness and supporting systems in the success of digital transformation in the healthcare sector. This study contributes to the development of a conceptual framework for inclusive and sustainable implementation of digital technology in hospitals. Practical implications include the need for designing adaptive training policies and investing in equitable digital infrastructure. Further research is recommended to cover broader geographical contexts and incorporate quantitative analysis to strengthen the generalizability of the findings. Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including health services. Online registration applications are one of the innovations that aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the MyRisa online registration application in services at RSI Sultan Agung Banjarbaru. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using the interview method with 8 informants, namely the head of IT, 2 registration officers and 5 patients using the MyRisa application. The results of the study showed that in terms of overall effectiveness, the implementation of the MyRisa application had been achieved in several important aspects of service at RSI Sultan Agung Banjarbaru. However, the hospital needs to make adjustments and improvements to these aspects to ensure that this application can be well received by all patients, especially those who have limitations in accessing or using technology. Abstract

Work fatigue is a feeling that arises in a situation that generally occurs in workers, where workers are no longer able to do work. Fatigue in workers found at PT. X, namely 5 workers experiencing complaints of fatigue at work including complaints about increasing age accompanied by decreasing physical strength, also the duration of work that exceeds the applicable provisions, nutritional status, work shifts, and workload. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with work fatigue in Drilling Rig Operator Service This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were 153 respondents with a sample of 60 respondents. Sampling using probability technique with simple random sampling method. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results obtained, there is a relationship between age and fatigue, namely (p-value=0.001, POR=18.400), then there is a relationship between nutritional status (p-value=0.001, POR=16.762), there is a relationship with work duration (p-value=0.038, POR=5.938), there is a relationship with work shifts (p-value=0.0001, POR=16.714) and there is a relationship with workload (p-value=0.009, POR=6.067). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between age, nutritional status, work duration, work shifts and workload with fatigue. PT. X should reduce fatigue in workers by giving time off, appreciation or rewards to workers to improve the quality of work. And hold a family gathering once a month. Abstract

Background; It is important to assess patient satisfaction because it is part of service quality, is related to marketing, and is a priority for improving health services. Based on an initial survey at the Tanjung Rejo Community Health Center, it showed that 7 patients expressed dissatisfaction with outpatient services because the waiting time for services was long, the information provided by officers was incomplete and inaccurate, the poly waiting room was uncomfortable and the registration queue was quite long. Purpose; The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the level of BPJS patient satisfaction with the quality of outpatient services at the Tanjung Rejo Community Health Center. Method; This type of research uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional design. The research population was all 9,430 patients with a sample of 99 people taken using the Slovin formula. Data analysis uses univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test statistics. Results; The research results show that the p value for the physical evidence variable = 0.009 < 0.05, reliability = 0.019 < 0.05, responsiveness = 0.013 < 0.05, assurance = 0.079 > 0.05 and empathy = 0.043 < 0.05, which means physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness and empathy have an influence on the quality of outpatient services, while guarantees have no influence on the quality of outpatient services. Conclusion; The research conclusion is that there is an influence of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness and empathy on the quality of outpatient services, while guarantees have no influence on the quality of outpatient services.

Abstract

​​ The problem of stunting (short children) is one of the nutritional problems faced by the world, especially in poor and developing countries. Stunting is a health problem because it is associated with the risk of morbidity and mortality. In 2017, 22.2% or around 150.8 million children under five in the world were stunted. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the determinants of stunting in Southeast Asia using the Meta-analysis research method with analysis of fixed effects models and random effects models. An observational research study site from International articles located in Southeast Asia from 2000-2022. Journals were collected using data based: Google Scholar, Pubmed, Springer Link and Science Direct. The results of the identification of articles were obtained as many as 24 relevant articles entered the meta-analysis stage. The results showed that family income OR 3.26 (95% CI: 1.77-599), LBW OR 2.70 (95% CI: 2.09-3.49), Mother's education OR 1.94 (95% CI : 1.44-2.63) and environmental sanitation OR 1.71 (95% CI: 1.54-1.89). The most influential variable on the determinants of stunting in Southeast Asia is the family income variable. One of the efforts that can be done is to prioritize health promotion with attractive and easily understood media by the public, thereby increasing public awareness of stunting prevention and control efforts
