Abstract

To be able to survive the global economic, every business organization is forced to continue to innovate and small and medium industry (SMEs) are deemed capable of winning the competition in the industry. SMEs have the freedom to move and innovate because they are still small in scope, so innovation are needed in order to have a competitive advantage. This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of strategic innovation on employee performance by analysing its influence on work satisfaction. The research sample consists of 120 employees from the small and medium shoe business in East Java. The cluster random sampling approach was used to choose the participants. The data analysis model employs the PLS (Partial Least Squares regression) analysis approach with the Smart PLS version 3.0 software. The findings of hypothesis testing indicate that there is no significant direct impact of strategic innovation on employee performance. Employee performance is directly influenced by job happiness. However, strategic innovation has an indirect impact on employee performance by influencing work happiness. This suggests that work happiness might establish a link between the impact of strategic innovation and employee performance.

A sample of 252 participants were surveyed to examine the relationship between sustainability values, consumer vulnerability awareness, community consumer instrumentality awareness, personal consumer instrumentality awareness, habits, and responsible consumer behavior. This study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS 4 to analyze the data. The results showed a significant positive relationship between sustainability values, dimensions of consciousness, habits, and responsible consumer behavior. The findings emphasize the critical role of high awareness, personal agency, and habitual behavior in promoting green choices. These insights provide valuable guidance for businesses, policymakers, and environmental advocates who want to encourage positive environmental change through consumer behavior.

The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Data validity used source triangulation and technique triangulation. This research results in, first, productive zakat can contribute to the addition of mustahik income and break the chain of mustahik dependence on muzakki, second, productive zakat can empower mustahik entrepreneurship through the Z-Chicken, Z-Auto, the livestock and Batik Craftsmen programs. Abstract

In order to better understand the complex links between infrastructure development, education, tourism, agriculture, and regional economic growth in Indonesia, this study uses structural equation modeling with partial least squares or SEM-PLS. The research makes uses of a 287-observation dataset and applies rigorous measurement model evaluation, bootstrapping analysis, structural model estimation, and model validation against multiple fit indices. The results show a strong positive correlation between each sector—agriculture, tourism, education, and infrastructure development—and regional economic expansion. The necessity for comprehensive, integrated development strategies is highlighted by the interconnectedness of these interactions. In order to promote balanced and resilient regional economic growth, the findings provide policymakers with useful insights and highlight the significance of ongoing investments in infrastructure, education, and sustainable tourism and agricultural practices.

Abstract

The study's goal is to investigate how important macroeconomic factors affect certain African nations. These metrics are crucial for the economies' effective development and can be utilized to address the many economic issues that the chosen countries are currently dealing with. 91 publications published between 2004 and 2022 were examined using the Scopus database. With an emphasis on five major factors: Growth Domestic Product (GDP), Interest Rate, Exchange Rate, Inflation, and Foreign Direct Investment this study evaluated and analyzed the literary elements and themes explored in order to give guidance for future research. The findings revealed that Interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and foreign direct investment (FDI) are some of the macroeconomic variables that can affect the selected African economies. Foreign direct investment has been identified as the most important factor in improving industrial prosperity and living standards in developing economies such as Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco after stabilizing interest rates, inflation and currency exchange rates. The study's findings are supported by material that has been published in previous years. Given that a number of recent economic issues have had an impact on the expansion of the economy, it is necessary to evaluate the ideas using panel data from the past 20 years in order to ascertain whether they are still valid. The report highlights the key macroeconomic factors that may have an impact on five different African economies. The study combines a number of economic metrics that have previously been studied separately to assess the trend in the economies it has chosen. To the best of my knowledge, this study is one of the few that evaluates both the individual countries used and the indicators in general.

Abstract

The tourism sector has become a development sector that has really developed in recent years. Tourism development has three dimensions of development, namely government, academics and entrepreneurs, but this model is modified into five dimensions, namely government as regulator, academics as conceptualizer, tourism business as investor, community working in the tourism sector as accelerator and media as catalyst. These five dimensions are called the pentahelix model. Through this model, it is hoped that the tourism sector can contribute to the community's economy through an empowerment process. So this research aims firstly, to explore tourism development using the pentahelix model, secondly, to design community empowerment using tourism development using the pentahelix model. This goal was achieved with a qualitative approach, a type of case study on Ijen Geopark Bondowoso tourism. This location is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Bondowoso. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation and FGD. Data were analyzed using descriptive and interpretive techniques and the validity of the data was tested using triangulation of sources and techniques. This research results, firstly, tourism developed using the pentahelix model is more successful than that developed using the triple helix model, because the dimensions used are more comprehensive, secondly, the community empowerment design through the pentahelix model is comprehensive and can absorb a high level of participation in tourism development. Thus, people's income has increased and unemployment has decreased in the Ijen Geopark tourist area because the community participates in tourism development. So, this pentahelix model can be used in designing sustainable community empowerment.

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of trust in platform providers on user participation and economic benefits in the sharing economy within the context of Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) path analysis was employed to analyze data collected from a sample of 150 participants. The measurement model assessment confirmed the reliability and validity of the latent constructs, while the structural model estimation revealed significant positive relationships between trust in platform providers and user participation, trust in platform providers and economic benefits, as well as user participation and economic benefits. Mediation analysis further demonstrated the mediating role of user participation in the relationship between trust in platform providers and economic benefits. The moderation analysis did not reveal any significant moderation effects. Overall, the findings contribute to understanding the dynamics of trust, user behavior, and economic outcomes in the Indonesian sharing economy context, offering insights for platform providers, policymakers, and researchers.
