Abstract

This research aims to better understand the urgency of the Islamic paradigm in the applicable curriculum in SMK. Also, to understand the perception of whether students know enough about how to build an Islamic paradigm in the midst of busy learning activities and the importance of responding to major practicum activities in accordance with Islamic values. This research was conducted on students and teachers at SMKN 8 Bandung. The research method used is qualitative methods to determine the impact of implementing an Islamic paradigm-based work culture system on students at SMK. The data used for this study were in the form of questionnaires and interviews conducted with students and teachers at SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. This study found that the role of work culture based on the Islamic paradigm is important to implement. This is because the application of a work culture based on an Islamic paradigm can provide positive changes if implemented properly. Increasing the positive character of a student can also affect the future of a student so he can compete in the world of work. Because basically the application of work culture in Vocational Schools is for students to get used to the culture that exists in the world of work later. In addition, the application of work culture cannot be separated from the Islamic paradigm so that moral decline does not occur. Therefore, a work culture based on an Islamic paradigm can be a benchmark in determining the excellence of SMK graduates.

Abstract

Advances in technology, especially communication technology is very fast. One of them is the presence of new media, in the form of online media and social media, which has an impact on changing the way of communicating in society. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the message production process for social media users, especially WhatsApp (WA), by using trait/character theory, conversational narcissism, argumentativeness, and social & communicative anxiety. This study uses the constructivism paradigm. This research uses a qualitative approach, and case study methods, primary and secondary data sources. The data were obtained through observing active members of one of the WA groups, while interviews were conducted with the WAG 'pak lurah', and 5 members of the ikasma3bdg'82 board, as well as through a literature study. The results of the research show that a person's character can be reflected through the messages they produce. Messages produced primarily by WAG users produce the self-existent nature of WAG users. This can be seen from the character who always emphasizes his abilities, always wants to dominate the conversation, and so on. The second feature that emerges from the message production process is the nature of solidarity possessed by WAG users. So that the nature of this solidarity is able to maintain harmony among fellow WAG users. Keywords: Message production, User characteristics, WAG

Abstract

Intermoda Modern Market in BSD City is a modern market with a new concept. The thing that distinguishes this modern market from other modern markets is that it provides the concept of a modern market which is not only a place for shopping but also a place for family recreation. Intermoda Modern Market in BSD City combines various concepts, including shopping, culinary tours, children's play areas (playground), and gathering places. Brand Awareness (brand awareness) is the ability of consumers to recognize brands in different situations, this can be done with brand recognition and recall of a particular brand. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with research techniques focused on focus group discussions (FGD). FGDs are conducted by involving managers, consumers and traders. This research resulted in three things, namely facilities, services and promotion, where these three things are important components in forming a brand awareness strategy for the Intermoda Modern Market in BSD City.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and implement effective communication strategies in developing elementary school children's love for Buleleng ornaments. Buleleng ornaments are part of a rich and unique local cultural heritage, but are often overlooked by the younger generation. Through a qualitative approach and action research methods, this research involves the active participation of children in learning and exploration activities related to Buleleng ornaments. The steps taken in this study included conveying interesting information about Buleleng ornaments, visiting exhibitions or creative centers, creative activities using Buleleng decorations, collaboration with local communities, performances or exhibitions of works, integration into the curriculum, and community empowerment. Evaluation is carried out through participatory observation, interviews, questionnaires, knowledge tests, evaluation of works and performances, and feedback from stakeholders. The results of this study indicate that the steps taken as a whole are effective in developing elementary school children's love for Buleleng ornaments. Children showed high interest, active involvement, and increased their knowledge of Buleleng ornaments. They also produce works of art and performances that reflect their understanding and application of Buleleng ornaments. This research makes an important contribution in understanding how effective communication strategies can be used to develop elementary school children's love for local cultural heritage such as Buleleng ornaments. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating local cultural activities into the curriculum and involving the community in the learning process. In addition, this research also highlights the importance of creative and interesting approaches in conveying information about cultural heritage to children.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi merupakan keniscayaan yang arusnya tidak bisa dibendung dan tidak bisa diikuti begitu saja. Akhir-akhir ini banyak diperbincangkan mengenai Artificial Intelligence (AI) karena kemampuannya menyerupai kecerdasan manusia. Pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan di berbagai bidang mulai resah dengan kehadiran AI, meski hingga saat ini belum ada bukti nyata bahwa teknologi tersebut dapat sepenuhnya menggantikan kemampuan manusia. Untuk menjawab kekhawatiran tersebut, perlu dibuat filter untuk menyaring masuknya teknologi yang begitu kuat. Ruang sosial dan budaya dapat diciptakan sebagai pilihan. Pendekatan budaya harus dianggap sebagai seperangkat fitur spiritual, material, intelektual, dan emosional yang unik dari suatu kelompok masyarakat, yang mencakup hal-hal selain seni dan sastra, cara hidup bersama, gaya hidup, sistem nilai, tradisi, dan kepercayaan. Pemahaman tentang tradisi, ritual, dan peristiwa budaya harus disajikan lebih menarik daripada sajian media modern. Tradisi dapat disikapi sebagai ruang pendidikan dengan seperangkat nilai tersendiri bagi sekelompok orang yang tertarik untuk melestarikannya. Harapannya AI dalam perkembangannya dapat membantu manusia dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pelestarian alam dan budaya, karena ilmu pengetahuan selalu berkembang. Perkembangan teknologi khususnya di bidang kecerdasan buatan harus dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat karena berpotensi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan, kreativitas, dan inovasi tanpa harus mengorbankan kekayaan alam dan budayanya. Tradisi dapat disikapi sebagai ruang pendidikan dengan seperangkat nilai tersendiri bagi sekelompok orang yang tertarik untuk melestarikannya. Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic affects several aspects generally in economics aspect causing business to close permanently. One business that capable to maintain it business is Rumpis Kitchen restaurant this indeed can’t be separated from their applied marketing communication strategy. Based on that, issues to be studied in this research are: how is the implementation of marketing communication strategy to maintain the business of Rumpis Kitchen restaurant during the pandemic? What are the obstacles of marketing communication strategy in maintaining the business of Rumpis Kitchen restaurant during the pandemic? How is the implication of marketing communication strategy to maintain the business of Rumpis Kitchen restaurant during the Covid- 19 pandemic? The theories used to discuss the problems are: integrated marketing communication theory, communication barrier theory, also dependency theory and media effects. This research apply qualitative method with descriptive approach along with the techniques we use to collecting data are interview, observation, and literature study. In this research we found that: the implementation of marketing communication strategy in the Rumpis Kitchen restaurant is by implementing six elements of integrated marketing communication theory, which are: advertising using Instagram and endorsement, direct marketing through telemarketing and website, sales promotion by giving free products, discount, dan giveaway, personal selling by the employees, interactive marketing by Instagram features, and public relation by community service, publication, and championship competition. The obstacles in implementing marketing communication strategy in Rumpis Kitchen restaurant are environmental barrier and consumer barrier. The implication of implementing marketing communication strategy in Rumpis Kitchen restaurant is because of the changes of consumer by cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects.

Abstract

The teachings of Susila study about individual behavior in good ethics. Behavior reflects the character of each individual in understanding Hindu religious values. But in reality the character and behavior of UKM students Jegeg Bagus not represent themselves as students Jegeg Bagus as a result the occurrence of deviations that are contrary to the teachings Tri Kaya Parisudha. So the importance of teaching values Tri Kaya Parisudha encourage effective communication strategies in forming a positive self-image. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the process, obstacles and implications of teaching communication strategies Tri Kaya Parisudha in the formation of self-image of UKM students Jegeg Bagus I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University Denpasar.This study uses a qualitative descriptive data method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and literature study. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and drawing conclusions. This study uses communication strategy theory, attribution theory and mass communication effect dependency theory. The results of this study indicate that the process of communication strategy is formed from habits and experiences that students gain through namely; 1) the process of students joining UKM Jegeg Bagus, 2) implementation of teachings Tri Kaya Parisudha in the formation of self-image,consistency of self-image formation, and 4) UKM student activities Jegeg Bagus. Barriers from internal factors; confidence, motivation, interests and talents and SME fundingGood jegeg. External factors from the social environment such as family, association and society. Non-social environment of time management and communication. Cognitive implications, namely expanding beliefs through deepening students' knowledge, affective implications, namely positive impressions of self-image formed by students and behavioral implications, namely controlling the expectations of others emotionally in forming a positive self-image.

Abstract

STT Candra Metu is a youth organization in Budamanis Banjar, Tabola Traditional Village, Sidemen Village, Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency which is engaged in social activities, one of which is building bonds of mutual help between people, namely manyama braya. An organizational communication strategy is urgently needed in building manyama braya ties in Banjar Budamanis so that an active organization is created. This study raises three main issues, namely : What are the forms of manyama braya activities, Organizational Communication Strategies used and what are the implications of STT Candra Metu's Activities in building the manyama braya bond in Banjar Budamanis, Tabola Traditional Village, Sidemen Karangasem? This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and uses three theories, namely fusion theory, attribution and structural functional theory. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, documentation and literature. All data is processed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the activities carried out by STT Candra Metu in building the manyama braya bond consist of activities in supporting the implementation of the yadnya ceremony, as a forum for strengthening intimate relationships and channeling creativity, interests and talents. While the communication strategy includes: Vertical communication consisting of bottom-up, top-down and horizontal communication. And the implications of STT Candra Metu in building manyama braya bonds include: Sociol cultural and economic implications for society. Based on this research, it can be concluded that an organizational communication strategy is needed to establish and move the wheels of the organization in building manyama braya ties between fellow STT Candra Metu.

Abstract

The Nangun Sat Kertih Loka Bali program encompasses the arrangement of the Besakih Temple area in the construction of parking facilities, kiosks, sanitation facilities, and other suitable amenities in the Besakih Temple area. The kiosks built in the arrangement of the Besakih Temple area aim to facilitate traders who sell within the temple grounds, thus enhancing the local economy and regulating unauthorized vendors in the Besakih Temple area. The current challenge faced by the government is relocating these vendors away from the temple area and asking them to move to designated locations. Naturally, this relocation process has met with strong protests from the vendors, necessitating effective communication strategies by the government to achieve the desired outcomes. The objectives of this research are to describe the communication strategies and the implementation of communication strategies employed by the Temple Management in the effort to relocate vendors in the Besakih Temple area. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The results of this research include: 1) The government conducted research to identify the issues arising from the vendor relocation. 2) The government formulated a communication plan, which includes: (a) Sending messages or notifications to the vendors. (b) Selecting the appropriate communication channels. (c) Establishing an integrated team as communicators. (d) Collecting feedback from both parties. 3) During the relocation implementation phase, several issues were identified, including: (a) Resistance from some vendors. (b) Reduced visitors in the Bencingah Area. (c) Some vendors expressing satisfaction with the relocation. (d) Reduced traffic congestion during the Karya Betara Turun Kabeh ceremony. (e) Besides constructing vendor kiosks, free transportation, selfie spots, parking areas, public toilets, and meeting halls were provided. 4) The evaluation phase includes: (a) Resistance from vendors to relocation. (b) The community parking area has not been fully utilized

Abstract

Organizational communication climate is a combination of perceptions regarding communication events, communication behavior, employee responses to other employees, expectations, interpersonal conflicts and opportunities for growth in the organization. The importance of the existence of a communication climate led Kompelmen, Brief and Guzoo to create a hypothesis stating that changes in an organization's communication climate might affect employee performance and productivity. Gores Digital is a start-up company engaged in printing technology (Printech) which helps solve the problems of customers who want a fast, easy and efficient printing process. Gores Digital as a company must have a good organizational communication climate. With a good communication climate, Gores Digital employees can complete it well. Changes in the organizational communication climate will later affect employee productivity or performance because employee performance measures become the main focus in achieving company goals. The research method used is a qualitative method. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of organizational communication climate on the performance of Gores Digital employees
