Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of collaborative learning models in shaping elementary students' character, focusing on critical thinking and learning initiative. Employing a mixed methods design, the research involved 30 sixth-grade students at SDN 1 Patalagan, evaluated through classroom observation, teacher interviews, and questionnaires. The results indicate that collaborative learning significantly improves students' critical thinking, teamwork, questioning skills, and argumentation. Students were more active in discussions, providing feedback, and solving problems collaboratively; however, challenges remain regarding low independent learning initiative and information literacy limitations. This research provides empirical evidence for curriculum development and recommendations for strengthening character-based teaching in elementary schools. Project-based collaborative learning is effective in developing 21st-century student character but requires ongoing strategies to optimally foster student initiative

Abstract

This study examines how community participation mediates the influence of service quality, incentive systems, and social media on the impact of Waste Bank programs in the Bangka Belitung Islands. A quantitative method with explanatory design was employed with 83 active customer respondents. PLS-SEM analysis was utilized to test seven hypotheses. The results demonstrated that service quality positively influenced community participation with a coefficient of 0.368 (p < 0.001). The incentive system also promoted participation with a coefficient of 0.297 (p < 0.001). Social media exhibited the strongest influence with a coefficient of 0.432 (p < 0.001). Community participation subsequently exerted a very strong influence on program impact with a coefficient of 0.736 (p < 0.001). All three independent variables also demonstrated indirect effects on program impact through participation with coefficients of 0.271, 0.219, and 0.318 respectively. The model explained 62.3% of variance in participation and 54.7% of variance in program impact. These findings suggest the importance of integrating responsive service, varied incentives, and digital platforms to enhance participation. A 10% increase in service quality can enhance participation by 3.7% and consequently increase program impact by 2.7%. Waste Bank managers need to prioritize social media optimization as it exhibits the greatest influence, followed by service and incentive systems.

Abstract

This research explores the emergence and transformation of nature connection pathways into collaborative music by designing and implementing a nature-based collaborative music creation workshop model. Employing a practice-based approach, the study integrates four theoretical frameworks, including the Five Pathways to Nature Connection (FPNC), the Soundtalking method, Collaboration Principles, and the Music Paradigm of Creativity. The resulting three-stage model (pre-creation, collaborative creation, and post-creation) was implemented over five weeks with ten participants (aged 15-22 yearts) at the Sekolah Seni Tubaba. Data from field notes, focus group discussions, and multimodal documentation were analyzed abductively and iteratively. Findings indicate that pathways to nature connection (FPNC) can be cultivated and strengthened through nature’s sound exploration, collaborative music-making, and reflective dialogue. The analysis also produced a collaborative information-processing model that elucidates how shared understanding of nature is transformed into artistic work. The creation of two musical compositions, "Mulai Bernapas" and "Rahim Alam," proves that collaborative artistic practice can serve as an epistemological site for forming, deepening, and expanding nature connection pathways.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period characterized by biological, psychological, and social changes that increase vulnerability to risky behavior, including premarital sexual behavior. This phenomenon is increasingly worrying among Indonesian adolescents and is also clearly found in students at SMK “X” in Ciparay District. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-control and peer conformity on premarital sexual behavior among students at SMK “X” in Ciparay District. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study sample consisted of 64 students in grades X and XI selected using proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire that measured premarital sexual behavior, self-control based on Averill's theory, and peer conformity based on Baron and Byrne's theory. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS. The results showed that self-control had a significant and negative effect on premarital sexual behavior, while peer conformity had a significant and positive effect. Simultaneously, self-control and peer conformity had a significant effect on premarital sexual behavior and were able to explain 23.1% of the variation in that behavior. These findings suggest that low self-control and high levels of peer conformity that support risky behavior increase the likelihood of premarital sexual behavior in students. This research is expected to provide a basis for schools, parents, and other stakeholders in designing more effective preventive interventions.

Abstract

This research analyzes constitutional law in the handling of idle land based on Government Regulation Number 48 of 2025 concerning the Regulation of Areas and Idle Land. Focusing on constitutional and juridical aspects, this study evaluates the extent to which the GR aligns with the principles of Indonesia's constitutional law, such as the supremacy of law, social justice, and state resource management for the prosperity of the people as mandated in the 1945 Constitution. Idle land is a significant issue related to land ownership inequality and neglect of the social function of land, requiring state intervention for fair redistribution. The research method uses a normative juridical approach, analyzing legislation such as the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) and Government Regulation Number 11 of 2010, as well as court rulings and customary law, to provide a comprehensive review of the legal framework for handling idle land. The research results highlight the complexity of the problem, with factors such as unclear ownership, neglect, and regulatory deficiencies as major challenges. Government Regulation Number 48 of 2025 strengthens regulatory mechanisms by expanding coverage to areas and integrating data-based monitoring. However, obstacles such as lack of inter-agency coordination, technical limitations, and authority conflicts persist. From a constitutional law perspective, this GR supports the rule of law through attribution, delegation, and mandate of authority, ensuring transparent resource management. In conclusion, firm legal steps are necessary, including policy revisions, regulatory strengthening, and inter-agency cooperation. Recommendations include integrating digital technology and community participation for the effectiveness of Government Regulation Number 48 of 2025, to achieve agrarian justice. Further research is needed for more comprehensive solutions.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in improving the quality of hospital services, especially in the Emergency Department (ER) which has a high workload and pressure. This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work environment on the performance of ER employees at Andi Djemma Masamba Regional Hospital, as well as to examine the role of individual factors such as income, length of service, and employment status. The study used an analytical observational method with a quantitative descriptive correlational approach through an explanatory survey. The population and sample were all 50 ER employees at Andi Djemma Masamba Regional Hospital using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, univariate and bivariate analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that work motivation had a significant partial effect on employee performance, where the higher the work motivation, the higher the employee performance. The work environment also had a significant partial effect on employee performance, indicating that a conducive work environment can improve performance. Simultaneously, work motivation and work environment had a very strong and significant effect on employee performance, with most of the performance variation being explained by these two variables. Furthermore, income factors have a very strong and significant influence on employee performance, while length of service has a significant influence on performance, while employment status has a weak and insignificant influence on employee performance. The conclusion of this study confirms that increasing work motivation and improving the work environment are important strategies for improving the performance of emergency department employees. The results are expected to serve as a basis for the management of Andi Djemma Masamba Regional Hospital in formulating human resource management policies to continuously improve employee performance and the quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

Mineral downstreaming is a key industrial strategy in Indonesia to increase the added value of natural resources through metal-based manufacturing. The Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) is one of the largest nickel downstreaming centers in Southeast Asia, contributing significantly to economic and social transformation in Morowali Regency. This research aims to evaluate internal and external strategic factors affecting IMIP using SWOT analysis. A qualitative descriptive method was applied based on a documentary video transcript supported by relevant literature review. The findings show IMIP’s strong internal advantages such as modern infrastructure, massive investment, a 60% increase in regional GDP, and more than 13,000 jobs created. Opportunities arise from the global demand for electric vehicle batteries and planned workforce expansion to 85,000 workers. However, weaknesses include dependence on a single commodity and limited local workforce capability. External threats include global nickel price volatility and competition among industrial zones. Based on the SWOT matrix, IMIP falls within the Growth Strategy quadrant, indicating strong potential for sustainable industrial expansion.

Abstract

Islamic economics exists as an economic system that emphasizes the values of justice, balance, and welfare in economic activities. In the context of the national economy, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving economic growth in society. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic economic principles in strengthening the MSME-based community economy. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study by analyzing Islamic economic books and relevant previous research results. The results of the study indicate that Islamic economic principles such as justice (al-'adl), honesty (shidq), responsibility (amanah), and mutual assistance (ta'awun) have been implemented in MSME practices, both in the production, distribution, and transaction processes. The implementation of these principles contributes positively to increasing trust, business sustainability, and strengthening the community economy in an inclusive manner. This research is expected to serve as a conceptual reference for the development of Islamic economic-based MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid growth of app-based transportation services has transformed the working patterns of ride-hailing drivers, while simultaneously increasing the risk of work-related fatigue and burnout. Burnout among GoJek Ride partners may adversely affect psychological well-being, service quality, and driving safety. This study aims to examine the effects of daily incentives, order difficulty, and customer responsiveness on burnout among GoJek Ride drivers in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This research adopts a quantitative explanatory approach using a survey method. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 133 GoJek Ride drivers selected via purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to assess both partial and simultaneous effects among variables. The findings indicate that daily incentives have a positive and significant effect on driver burnout, suggesting that target-based incentive schemes may increase work pressure when not accompanied by proportional workloads. Order difficulty shows the strongest positive influence on burnout, particularly related to travel distance, traffic conditions, and task complexity. Meanwhile, customer responsiveness does not significantly affect burnout. Collectively, the independent variables explain 51.5% of burnout variance. These results highlight burnout as a multidimensional issue shaped largely by operational and platform-related factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Career Development and Recognition System on Employee Retention at PT Onedoor in the Central Jakarta region. The increasing employee turnover indicates weaknesses in the implementation of career development and recognition systems. This research employs a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique with a total of 30 employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that Career Development (sig. 0.032 < 0.05) and Recognition System (sig. 0.008 < 0.05) have a positive and significant effect on Employee Retention. Simultaneously, both variables also have a significant effect, as indicated by an F-value of 22.938 with a significance level of 0.000. The Adjusted R² value of 0.602 indicates that 60.2% of the variation in employee retention is explained by Career Development and Recognition System. Overall, this study confirms that clear career paths, development opportunities, and fair recognition systems play an important role in enhancing employee retention. Therefore, companies need to strengthen these aspects to maintain employee loyalty and workforce sustainability.
