Abstract

A is a teenager living in Ora Et Labora Orphanage, Medan, who struggles with math and self-confidence. This case work used a self-efficacy approach to support his learning motivation and self-belief. The intervention included simple activities like math practice, drawing, and light discussions. As a result, A became more confident and gradually improved. The process ended positively, with hopes for continued growth.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat pesisir Desa Teluk Gosong, Kabupaten Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan, melalui penerapan konsep blue economy. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat setempat meliputi rendahnya nilai tambah hasil laut, keterbatasan akses pelatihan, dan minimnya pemahaman kewirausahaan serta pengelolaan keuangan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pelaksana dari perguruan tinggi melaksanakan serangkaian pelatihan partisipatif selama tiga hari yang mencakup pengolahan hasil laut, edukasi kewirausahaan dan pemasaran, serta pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga dan usaha kecil. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pendekatan dialog interaktif, praktik langsung, dan refleksi kelompok yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah hasil laut menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi seperti abon dan kerupuk ikan. Masyarakat juga mulai memahami pentingnya kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal dan menunjukkan minat dalam memasarkan produk secara digital. Selain itu, pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran untuk memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usaha serta menyusun anggaran yang lebih terencana. Dampak dari kegiatan ini tidak hanya terlihat dalam aspek ekonomi, tetapi juga pada tumbuhnya semangat kolaboratif, kemandirian, dan kesadaran akan pengelolaan sumber daya laut secara berkelanjutan. Luaran dari kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat pesisir, dokumentasi aktivitas, serta model pemberdayaan komunitas berbasis blue economy yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah pesisir lain. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa intervensi lokal yang tepat sasaran dan partisipatif mampu menjadi katalis perubahan menuju ekonomi pesisir yang lebih adil dan lestari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of morality and efforts to foster morality of Ibnu Rusyd Islamic Boarding School students. Based on field data using qualitative methods. The data collected were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies, while the analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, namely descriptions and descriptions of data collected in full about a real situation. The results of this study indicate that the Ibnu Rusyd Islamic Boarding School campus dakwah institution has a concept of morality and makes efforts to foster and direct. The concept of moral development and efforts to foster morality are two things that are closely related. In the concept of improving morality, LDK has 4 organized systems, namely (1) Preparing and improving individual abilities to do good deeds, (2) Preparing and improving participant skills to do good deeds at the dakwah movement level, (3) Preparing and improving participant skills to do good deeds at the community level, (4) Preparing and improving participant skills to do good deeds and interact with non-Muslims. In line with the efforts that have been set by LDK in the form of a work program that includes three aspects, namely the spiritual aspect, the fikriyah/intellectual aspect, and the physical aspect (physical endurance) as well as the muamalah/relationship aspect with fellow human beings. In terms of organization, LDK tends to be open (inclusive) but as a movement it tends to be exclusive. This can be seen from several things, namely the identity of the typical appearance of LDK cadres (wearing wide headscarves, Palestinian flags, not shaking hands with the opposite sex) then the use of headscarves (dividers) in activities to provide distance in interacting with students outside the LDK UKM.

Abstract

Regional Regulation Number 33 of 2023 of Jayapura City regulates Regional Taxes and Regional Levies, including parking levies. This regulation establishes general provisions regarding the subjects, objects, and rates for various types of regional taxes and levies in the City of Jayapura. On-street parking fees fall under the category of General Service Retribution. This service method was carried out through lectures and discussions held on Monday, April 21, 2025, in the city of Jayapura, specifically in front of Toko Gelael and around Jl. Halmahera, Jl. Percetakan, and Jl. Irian, North Jayapura district. The implementation of appropriate parking fees and the challenges in the field still use a manual system, where there are still issues such as parking users paying below the parking fee for certain reasons and parking attendants not providing parking tickets. The result of this service is the understanding of parking attendants that parking fees contribute to the local revenue (PAD) of Jayapura City. And how to prevent parking fee manipulation by using QRIS, which gradually transforms the manual system to a digital system with e-parking.

Abstract

The term victimology comes from the words victim and logos (science), in Latin victimology, derived from the word victima which means victim and logos which means science. In terminology, victimology means a study of victims, the causes of victims and the consequences of victims who are human problems as a social reality. Crime typology can be viewed from two dimensions, first: from the perspective of the level of victim involvement in the occurrence of crime, second: the factors that cause a person to become a victim of crime. The suffering experienced by victims includes violence to the body and life, loss of property, and psychological disruption due to the actions of the perpetrator of the crime. In certain cases, victims can be categorized as perpetrators of crime. Victims and the role of victimology in criminal offenses have legal protection, especially rape, being one of the main focuses. Although relations such as human rights laws have affirmed the right to restitution for victims, the implementation is still not optimal in depth regarding the fulfillment of restitution rights, as well as identifying factors that cause rape. The victim factor plays an important role in being able to overcome or resolve this rape case, this requires courage from the victim to report the incident to the police.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of the Penembangan Village community, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency regarding the importance of controlling hypertension through a healthy lifestyle. Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is often ignored but has a serious impact on health. Through structured counseling and education, this activity provides information on risk factors, impacts, and strategies for preventing and managing hypertension. The methods used include lectures, interactive discussions, and direct practice related to the implementation of a healthy lifestyle such as a balanced diet, physical activity, and stress management. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle in controlling hypertension. In addition, participants also showed a higher commitment to implementing a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives. It is hoped that this activity can be sustainable and become a model for similar programs in other areas, so that it can contribute to reducing the prevalence of hypertension and improving the quality of life of the community.

Abstract

The author conducted practicum 1 at the Ora Era Labora  orphanage. The practicum conducted by the author was to research what was experienced by the orphanage children. The problems experienced by the orphanage children were lack of self-confidence,difficulty in social interaction with peers and adults, and obstacles in adapting to the surrounding environment. From these problems, the author was interested and had the goal of understanding more deeply the conditions of the orphanage childreen and  designing interventions that could support increasing self-confidence, social interaction skills, and their ability to adapt in everyday life. The authors has individual clients who experience these problems, who are still in elementary school (SD). The author uses the case work stages in his research from the assesment stage to the termination stage. The method used is a qualitative approach with observasion techniques, interviews, and social assessment using ecomap tools.

Abstract

Penulis melakukan praktikum I di Panti Asuhan Ar-Rahman. Praktikum pertama yang dilakukan oleh penulis yaitu meneliti tentang permasalahan yang dialami oleh anak panti. Adapun masalah yang dialami oleh anak panti yaitu kurangnya budaya bersosialisasi sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajarannya berkelompok. Kondisi ini, yang diperparah dengan kecenderungan anak-anak masa kini untuk menyendiri dibandingkan berinteraksi, menciptakan kesulitan dalam pembelajaran kelompok dan berpotensi menghambat perkembangan mereka. Melihat urgensi masalah ini, penulis terdorong untuk melakukan mini proyek dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan minat bersosialisasi anak-anak, yang diharapkan akan berdampak pada peningkatan kepercayaan diri mereka. Klien yang menjadi fokus proyek ini adalah anak-anak dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari Sekolah Dasar (SD) hingga Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan social casework yang komprehensif, mulai dari tahap persiapan hingga terminasi. Metode Ecomap dan diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion/FGD) dipilih untuk mengumpulkan data dan memahami dinamika sosial yang ada. Selah melalui seluruh tahapan tersebut, hasil yang diharapkan adalah anak-anak panti dapat kembali membudayakan interaksi sosial yang sehat. Dengan demikian, mereka tidak hanya akan lebih mudah beradaptasi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, tetapi juga mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang bebas dari perilaku bullying. Proyek ini diharapkan menjadi fondasi penting bagi pengembangan keterampilan hidup yang esensial bagi masa depan anak-anak panti asuhan.

Abstract

This training aims to improve participants' knitting skills and economic productivity through applicable training based on relevant activities. The approach used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves participants in the learning process from problem identification to solution development, with a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and direct practice methods. The results of the study showed that around 90% of participants were able to understand and create knitted works according to the patterns taught, and felt an increase in self-confidence and economic capabilities. High community support and participant interest in developing knitted products as a business opportunity show the potential for developing micro-businesses based on handicrafts in local communities. This activity has proven effective in improving practical skills, opening up new economic opportunities, and strengthening community empowerment in improving welfare in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The increasing number of sexual violence cases in Indonesia, particularly against women and children, has become a serious issue that requires urgent and collective attention. One of the preventive measures that can be taken is through direct legal education to the community. This study focuses on a legal counseling activity concerning Sexual Violence Crime (Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual/TPKS) delivered to the residents of Ampel Subdistrict, Surabaya. A structured Lesson Plan was developed as a strategic guideline to ensure that learning objectives—covering knowledge, skills, and legal values—could be achieved effectively. The material delivered in the session included the definition and legal basis of sexual violence, its forms, victims’ rights, and the physical and psychological impacts of such crimes, along with appropriate responses. The activity was conducted through several stages: an opening session, presentation of the material, an interactive discussion, and a closing statement. The participants' enthusiastic responses indicated that the legal counseling was successful in enhancing legal awareness and understanding within the community. This activity demonstrated that legal education is not merely about transferring legal norms, but also serves as a transformative social tool capable of shifting public perception regarding sexual violence and the importance of protecting victims. Therefore, implementing legal education based on a structured Lesson Plan may serve as an effective and replicable model to strengthen legal protection for women and children from acts of sexual violence.
