Teknovokasi : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar (JTIK UNM) adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Teknovokasi meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di Teknovokasi : maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Abstract

The partner of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is the teachers in SMP Takalar District. The problem identified is that the junior high school teachers in Takalar District still face challenges in creating interactive learning media that are suitable for their teaching methods. This is due to a lack of technological skills in developing instructional media. The existing sources of interactive media are limited, both in terms of material compatibility and the preferences and teaching styles of the teachers. This training aims to enhance the understanding and skills of the teachers in developing interactive learning materials by utilizing technology. The method applied in this training is the descriptive method. The stages involved include lectures, discussions and Q&A sessions, exercises, mentoring, demonstrations, and evaluation of the developed learning materials. The expected outcome of this training is that the teachers will be able to improve their skills in creating interactive learning media that align with their needs and teaching styles.

Abstract

The problem faced by the people of Semangki Village is that crop productivity is decreasing as a result of unnatural use of natural resources which is not supported by the expansion of reforestation, resulting in unproductive land conditions or critical land. The expansion of reforestation is not optimal due to lack of information and knowledge of the community in making efforts to minimize critical land. Through this activity, the public can obtain the widest possible information. The method used in carrying out this activity uses the lecture and question and answer method. The results of this activity showed the high enthusiasm of the community and increased knowledge after obtaining information on educational activities. The increase that occurred from the initial ability analysis data was obtained by 25% and the final ability was 85%.

Abstract

The partner in the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is the Makassar Applied Techno Flight Vocational School. The problems found in students of the Aircraft Electronics Instrument Maintenance and Repair study program and the Maintenance and Repair of Aircraft Motors and Aircraft Frames study program are that in general they still have minimal ability in the field of aircraft because learning facilities in the form of trainers or simulators are still very limited, so competence What is owned is still theoretical, apart from that the internship places for students are still very limited in the Makassar area which is linear with their competence. This training aims to improve students' understanding and skills in the technical field of aircraft. The method applied to this training is descriptive method, with a lecture, discussion, and demonstration approach. The expected outcome of this training is that students can improve their competence theoretically and practically in the field of RC Aeromodeling aircraft which have the same working principle as conventional aircraft.

Abstract

This community service activity is in the form of a socialization targeting Business Administration students at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. The purpose of this service is to increase students' knowledge about the role of academic advisors and students' interest in conducting mentoring with their respective academic advisors. In addition, to provide understanding to students that mentoring activities with academic advisors are important activities within the university. The location of this service is carried out in one of the Business Administration Study Program classrooms and is also carried out online through the zoom application. The method used is by giving a lecture in the first session, then the second session of discussion with questions and answers, then the last session of evaluation. The results of this socialization activity increase the understanding of Business Administration students at Makassar State University regarding the role of academic advisors so that students will be active in meeting and communicating in terms of academic guidance or consultation.

Abstract

Improving problem-solving skills is crucial in facing global competition. Therefore, it is important to provide early training. With the development of technology and computer usage, a new approach has emerged in developing problem-solving skills known as Computational Thinking (CT). CT is based on the fundamental principles of computer science, where problems are understood in abstract terms and solutions are developed through illustrations. Since 2016, Indonesia has actively participated in the Bebras Community and promoted Computational Thinking through the organization of Bebras Challenge for students nationwide. The Faculty of Engineering at UNM has also been involved as a Bebras Bureau in organizing the Bebras Challenge in South Sulawesi. The Bebras training for teachers aims to introduce Computational Thinking skills so that every teacher can teach and train their students in developing problem-solving skills. The training was attended by representatives from 100 junior high schools in North Luwu Regency.Kabupaten Luwu Utara.

Abstract

The development of problem-solving skills is crucial in facing global competition. Therefore, early training is necessary. Since 2016, Indonesia has actively participated in the Bebras Community and promoted Computational Thinking by organizing the Bebras Challenge for students across the country. The Faculty of Engineering at UNM has become one of the Bebras Bureaus involved in organizing the Bebras Challenge in South Sulawesi. The Bebras outreach to teachers aims to introduce this Computational Thinking skill so that every teacher can convey and train their students in developing problem-solving skills. The outreach was attended by representative teachers from 100 elementary schools in Kabupaten Luwu Utara
