Abstract

Improving vocabulary in children is very important to be stimulated, , the more vocabulary mastered by children it can facilitate children in interacting and communicating with others. This study aims to determine whether the vocabulary mastered by children is able to re-discuss the story that has been heard through the method of storytelling using props in children aged 5-6 years. Community service research in the form of service learning was conducted in kindergarten Aisyiyah Branch 1 Sungguminasa with a number of participants as many as 3 children. The instruments used in the form of props are images of animals that are cut out according to their shape and pasted on cardboard paper, besides the instruments used are also sheets of evaluation of implementation and intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that the 3 participants ' language development was different, there were children who had dared to propose to retell stories that had been heard but still could not tell them in order, there were also children who could tell it well but needed more time because they were still hesitant and shy and among them there were children who only heard and listened to their friends tell stories. The findings in this study imply that storytelling methods can improve children's vocabulary, if they focus on listening and listening to the content of the story.

Abstract

Giving stimulation in early childhood is very important for optimizing children's development, including fine motor skills. It is important to optimize fine motor development stimulation because it will affect the child's readiness to maximize the movements of the wrist and fingers. This also affects the coordination of the child's eye and hand functions so that he can process the information he receives at the same time. This study aims to determine the improvement of the child's eye and hand coordination after applying the method of thickening the dotted line to children aged 4 to 5 years in community service research through service learning at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal II Perumnas Makassar City with a total of 4 participants. children. In its application, it uses a dotted line patterned drawing paper instrument, an observation sheet, and an evaluation sheet for the implementation of the intervention. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this research show that the application of thickening the dotted line is effective in improving children's hand and eye coordination in carrying out activities simultaneously. This study implies that the development of hand-eye coordination in stimulated children has different speeds.

Abstract

Education is a concius effort to develop the potential of human resources (HR) through teaching activities. To be able to create conducive teaching and learning activities and be able to develop effective learning outcomes is the duty and obligation of the teacher as an education teacher. Therefore, teachers directly seek to influence, foster and develop students abilites to become intelligent and skilled human beings. In essence, practicum is a proof of theory, buht because students only refer to teory without any strengthening of uhnderstanding trough practicum, the understanding gained through practicum is usually more memorable and lasts longer, because students are direcly involved in practicum activities and can prove the theory given by the teacher themselves. Thus the Pyhsic Education laboratory Assistant Team intends to carry out an activity with the title Student Laboratory Work Application (AKLAM) at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) Al- Fityan School Gowa – Kab Gowa, which is designed as a creative response to increasing wise values towards educational professionalism in learning situations. This activity was carried out for four days of implementation by helping the Head of the Laboratory and the Science Laboratory Manager to improve and complete administration related to the laboratory. And be able to increase students knowledge about global warning symptoms, physics practicum in primary schools, coordination of data collection for school practicums, and completion of school laboratory administration as well as improving the quality of practicum learning for the Phyhsics education laboratory assistant team at UIN Alauddin Makassar at the S-1 level to comply with national education standards, in order to improve the quality of education for students of Physics Education Faculty, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Alauddin Makassar in the future.

Abstract

This service research aims to introduce scientific publications to participants in order to understand the form of scientific publications. Service research activities carried out by lecturers and students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the form of socialization which took place face-to-face at the As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School, involving 21 MTs / MAS As'adiyah Sengkang teachers. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire through google form, then the data obtained is analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this service research are considered useful, especially in the personal and professional lives of participants, and after participating in the socialization, participants will conduct research and publications.

Abstract

The importance of increasing fine motor development in early childhood so that children carry out motor movements and activate their eyes with interesting and unique activities. Fine motor development in children, especially tracing by pasting grains on the child's tracing results. This study aims to determine the extent to which aspects of children's motor development are improved by tracing activities and then the results of the child's tracings are attached with green beans and peanuts at the age of 4-5 years. This community service research in the form of service learning was conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Kindergarten with a total of 5 children. The instruments used are animal sketches, observation sheets for children and evaluation of the implementation of the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that children were able to trace through pictorial sketches, then green seeds and peanuts were attached to the tracing results. The findings in this study imply that by applying the collage activity after tracing, it can train children's fingers to choose the seeds to be pasted on top of the tracing.

Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad Saw using Arabic, and became the language of education, science, diplomacy, socioeconomic, and cultural transactions. The purpose of this devotion is to provide guidance for learning Arabic in understanding the Qur'an. The method used is a direct method in the skills of al-istima' and al-kitabah, the students listen directly to the material given and write down what has been listened to. The results showed that 20% of students can listen, 65% of students can write, and 15% students cannot listen and write properly and correctly. This shows that there is still a need for further guidance so that students can listen and write the Qur'an properly and correctly.

Abstract

Education is a process of influencing students in adapting to the environment and being able to make changes that exist in students. Field trips are a method used by students to complete certain learning experiences and are part of the school's curriculum program. This service aims to determine the effectiveness of the field trip method as a learning method at Runiah School Makassar. This service uses the pre-post test control design method and mentoring outdoor learning activities. The subjects of the service were students from grades 3 to grade 6. The measuring instrument used was in the form of questions consisting of 8 questions covering general knowledge and special knowledge questions. This measuring tool aims to measure student knowledge according to the location of field trip activities. Based on the dedication that was carried out, it gave the result that field trips were effectively carried out as a learning method by increasing general and special knowledge.

Abstract

The child's concentration ability is very important to be stimulated. One way to stimulate children's concentration is by providing games using geometric squares. This study aims to train concentration in children after the application of the geometric box playing method to children aged 5-6 years. This community service research in the form of service learning was conducted at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 2 Perumnas, with 3 children selected as participants based on purposive sampling. The instruments used were geometric squares, observation sheets for children, and intervention implementation evaluation sheets. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the community service research show that children can concentrate on composing geometric shapes according to their shape. The findings in this study imply that children playing with geometric squares benefit because they can increase concentration, can recognize colors, and geometric shapes.

Abstract

By looking at the current development of technology, it is necessary to carry out reforms in various scientific fields ranging from economics, education to the health sector. But what is happening in society, the latest technology is not really sufficient either in terms of manufacture or utilization. The objectives of the community service program that is being carried out include: 1) the community is well acquainted with the results of the latest technology. 2) people are able to understand more deeply related to today's technology. To achieve this goal, several activities were carried out, such as: 1) Participating in supporting activities related to health program partners, namely posyandu officers, cadres and local midwives, 2) Conducting seminars. The results of this activity are in the form of understanding and utilization in the form of a thermometer tool. The tool was measured using a questionnaire and yielded a value of 90%, so it can be concluded that in the program of activities this community group is interested in developing an automatic thermometer tool.

Abstract

The pious children festival is one of the joint work programs organized by KKN Students at the Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar (UINAM) in the Patte’ne Village. The purpose of holding this pious children’s festival program is; (1) to increase enthusiasm for learning islam; (2) developing interests and talents in the field of religion; (3) to develop the level of artistic creativity; and (4) to increase the self-confidence of children in the Patte’ne Village. The implementation of the pious children’s festival program consists of 4 activities, namely, short letter memorization competitions, daily prayer memorization competitions, call to prayer competitions, and Islamic fashion show competitions. The implementation method applied to the pious children’s festival program uses debriefing, training, and practice methods. The result of this pious children’s festival program is that children in the Patte’ne Village are more enthusiastic about learning the Islamic religion, then the children in the Patte’ne Village are also more daring to show their talents and their sel-confidence has increased after participating in the pious children’s festival program. This is evidenced by several boys in the Patte’ne Village who initially did not dare to do Islamic fashion shows but after training, many boys took part in the pious child festival activities.
