Abstract

This service training aims to introduce forms of sexual violence that occur in the campus area in order to prevent this from happening. Service activities carried out by gender ambassadors under the auspices of the Center for Gender and Children Studies in the form of distributing posters which took place face-to-face at K.H Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan State Islamic University, the target of this activity were the Deans of the Faculty and the entire community of K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan State Islamic University . The implementation method in this socialization activity uses the visit method, the debriefing method, and the delivery method. The results of this activity are increasing the attention of the campus community about gender issues and succeeding in introducing services available at PSGA, so that the campus community becomes more courageous to speak up when experiencing or seeing gender-related problems to the authorities without fear. and without feeling alone. This is proven after this activity the campus community has an interest in gender issues and when there are open activities on campus more and more people participate.

Abstract

Isra' Mi'raj Extension Activities are activities in the form of socialization or lectures, often found in the community. This community service activity was carried out at SDN 1 Pucanganak with participants, including students from grades 1 to grade 6, along with teachers and elementary school employees. This community service method consists of three parts, including the observation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The observation stage is the stage of visiting and observing the location of the purpose of community service. In addition, at the observation stage, a consultation was carried out with the relevant principals and teachers regarding the decreasing number of elementary-age children idolizing the Prophet Muhammad. The step after observation is implementation. The implementation stage is the core stage in extension activities. The activity was carried out at SDN 1 Pucanganak with 85 students from grade 1 to grade 6 SD. The final step is evaluation. Evaluation is carried out through feedback between presenters and participants or students. The feedback given to the participants came from the material presented by the resource person. Feedback aims to test the level of understanding of the extension participants. From the counselling regarding Isra' Mi'raj, it is hoped that it can increase the love of all students for Rasulullah SWA as well as develop character according to the background and struggle of Rasulullah SAW.

Abstract

Messaging technique or public speaking is a skill that is always the center of attention. Scientifically, public speaking is included in the category of communication science which is absolute. Public speaking ability must be owned by an educator. A public speaker is required to be able to influence or convince his listeners through the words that come out of his mouth. For this reason, practice is needed to hone everyone's speaking skills, bearing in mind that it is not only educators who need good and correct public speaking. The purpose of carrying out this activity is so that the educators and youth organizations in Samaturue Village are able to understand public speaking techniques or speak in public more confidently, are more confident in appearing and expressing opinions, besides that especially educators in Samaturue Village with This activity is expected to improve the quality of teaching and learning atmosphere. There are several stages, namely socialization, implementation and evaluation. It is also hoped that the results of the coaching that has been carried out will be carried out further in the future, seeing the enthusiasm and feedback from the community in Samaturue Village to the presenters in this activity.

Abstract

The independent learning policy by the Ministry of Education and Culture, which was followed by the birth of Reform Madrasah, requires teachers to have 21st Century learning competencies, one of which is skills in using IT in learning. In line with that, the ability to manage student-centered classes is very important so that the stigma of learning that is still teacher-centered is no longer often heard. This community service activity aims to improve the competency of Madrasah Tsanawiyah English teachers through training in technology-based learning methods to be implemented in both online and offline learning, through classroom management training to be able to create a fun and student-centered teaching and learning process, and through preparation assistance learning planning and evaluation in South Sulawesi to be able to create a well-planned and measurable learning process. The method used in this training is training by applying the CBR (Community Based Research) model approach. The training was carried out in four stages, namely laying the foundation, planning, collecting and analyzing data (gathering and analyzing information), and following up (action on finding). Participants in this activity were 2 cities and 1 district in South Sulawesi Province including Palopo City, Makassar City and Gowa Regency with a total of 40 teachers from each city and district. The process of selecting training participants is representative of the selected schools on the recommendation of the local City and District Ministry of Religion offices. The results of this training show that the competency of Madrasah Tsanawiyah English teachers increases through training in technology-based learning methods to be implemented in both online and offline learning, through classroom management training to be able to create a fun and student-centered teaching and learning process, and through preparation assistance learning planning and evaluation in South Sulawesi to be able to create a well-planned and measurable learning process.

Abstract

Fractions are one of the mathematics materials at the elementary school level. Mathematics is still a difficult subject for students, especially in fraction addition operations. Therefore, some parents choose to bring in private teachers to help their children understand mathematics. This service is a learning assistance for students in Jeneponto district, South Sulawesi, which aims to train students to complete fraction addition operations through the media of fraction cards. This service was carried out by several lecturers of Mathematics Education at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Alauddin Makassar for 7 meetings, by making fraction card media to help students understand the concept of fractions, especially in fraction addition operations. The results of this dedication show that after participating in this community service activity, students can complete the operation of adding fractions. Another finding from this service is that there are still students who have not mastered the multiplication and division operations of integers, resulting in difficulties in completing fraction addition operations.

Abstract

Society is the pioneer, determinant of progress, and the welfare of a state and nation, therefore the government of a country must pay attention to the welfare of the community, especially the young generation that has just grown up among the community. It is this young generation that will determine the fate of the nation and state in the future, because today's youth are the leaders of the future. Our country, Indonesia, has a lot of diversity in religion, culture, and so on, Indonesia is also a religious country, it can be seen in the ideology of the nation, namely Pancasila, in the first principle which reads "Belief in One God", however, many Indonesian people who are the majority of adherents of Islam cannot read the Qur'an, or in other words they are illiterate al-Qur'an with a percentage of 65% of 223 million Muslims unable to read the Qur'an, and this is a serious problem for Muslims in Indonesia. The purpose of this service is to provide guidance and learning to the children of the nation's generation to read the Qur'an properly and correctly, using the Iqro' method which refers to the "Child Centered" education pattern which provides the widest possible opportunity for each learner to develop optimally according to ability, to improve the quality of the younger generation on the religious side in accordance with the first principle of Pancasila, and reduce the number of Qur'an illiteracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The majority of people in Indonesia are Muslims, with the Qur'an and al-Sunnah as their guidelines. Nowadays, the activity of memorizing the Qur'an and the memorizers of the Qur'an in Indonesia is growing rapidly. This service was carried out to provide assistance and training in memorizing the Qur'an to students who participated in the tahfiz program at Pesantren Sultan Hasanuddin so that the students were able to memorize the Qur'an. Pesantren Sultan Hasanuddin is actually not a Tahfidz al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, but the desire of the students and their parents so that this new tahfiz program emerged in the Sultan Hasanuddin Islamic Boarding School environment as a positive response from the pesantren for parents and students who want to memorize the Qur'an. This service is carried out with the method of mentoring and training to students who take part in the tahfiz program which has been stopped due to the absence of a coach who is responsible for the program. After the service was carried out, the students who participated in the tahfiz program had a very high interest in memorizing the Qur'an. This shows that the tahfiz program needs to be developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to help students improve their reading and spelling skills. The implementation method used in this service is identifying the learning objectives to be achieved, using creative information boards to improve students' reading skills through creative learning media, and providing fun and interactive spelling exercises including the use of pictures, letters, and words that must be sorted or completed correctly to improve spelling skills, as well as encourage interest and motivation to learn. Based on the community service activities that have been carried out through the application of creative learning media in the form of letter boards, it turns out that it has a positive effect on letter recognition and the development of language skills in class 1 students at SD Negeri Pattingaloang 1 Makassar City. The use of these media helps create interactive, engaging, and effective learning experiences and helps students build a strong foundation in reading, spelling, and understanding language.

Abstract

Lowita Beach is an area where many turtle species are found. Local people hunt and trade turtle meat and eggs. The aim of this activity is to participate in turtle conservation activities at Lowita Beach, Suppa District, Pinrang Regency. The method used in the activity was to take part in turtle activities managed by the Lima Putra Pesisir community at Lowita Beach, Suppa District, Pinrang Regency. Indicators of the effectiveness of turtle conservation activities can be seen from the implementation of activities in the form of; beach monitoring with patrols, egg origin, hatching success, turtle breeding and hatchling release. Steps for olive ridley turtle conservation activities include; 1) opening, 2) presentation of material by the Five Coastal Sons Community, 3) patrol on Lowita beach, 4) releasing turtles on Lowita beach, 5) cleaning of Lowita beach. Activities that have been carried out in turtle conservation are 1) observing eggs being incubated on special land, 2) obtaining turtle conservation materials by the Lima Putra Pesisir Community, 3) carrying out patrols on Lowita beach to save eggs from humans, monitor lizards and dogs, 4) releasing turtles on the beach in the morning from 07.00 – 08.00 WITA.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is behavior that oppresses other people. Bullying has become a national and international issue, Indonesia itself has become one of the countries with a bullying emergency status. Bullies consider themselves to be individuals who are capable of doing anything to other people, especially if there is a difference of opinion or they feel unhappy with the person who is the victim of bullying. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, this bullying behavior is never justified. Regardless of place or age, bullying still occurs among students, with several factors causing it. The aim of this training is to provide understanding through training for teachers to become anti-bullying teachers through the Anti-Bullying Movement. The subjects in this community service are teachers at MTs. Wihdatul Ulum, Parangloe District, Gowa, is expected to become a pioneer in anti-bullying learning. The training will be provided in stages, the methods used are counseling and simulation which follows systematic planning, action, evaluation and reflection. The initial step is to observe the partner's situation, provide material for teacher introduction and understanding, then provide training on teacher strategies in learning to overcome bullying behavior. The problem faced by partners is the occurrence of bullying towards students outside and in the learning process. The lack of knowledge and understanding of teachers is certainly one of the causes, as well as students' overall activities that cannot be controlled. Students who experience bullying are dominated by non-verbal bullying (body shaming). Through this training, sanctions and resolution and prevention efforts have been created to eliminate bullying in educational institutions and in the community.
