Abstract

The objective of this study is to know the most frequent type of error made by the first grade students of SMAN Jogoroto in writing narrative and also the source of those errors. The writer used type of error of Betty Azar’s. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative analysis method to describe students’ errors and analyze the data. The results of this study are from the data that has been collected by the The data that has been collected by the researcher is then described using Betty Azar's error classification which includes: singular-plural form, word form, word choice, verb form, word addition, word order, incomplete sentences, spelling, punctuation, capitalisation, article, unclear meaning, and non sequitur sentences. The researcher identified the errors found in the narrative texts written by students into three juvenile categories based on Betty Azar's classification. The researcher found that there were 13 grammatical errors that the researcher found in the students' written tests.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out which strategy done by Educators in Improving Reading Ability Students In High Class and to know Factors Supporting and Inhibiting Strategies in educators Improving Students' Reading Ability in high grades. The type of this research is qualitative research field. The data collection technique is by technique interview, observation, and documentation. Deep subject this study are teachers and students. Based on the results research it can be concluded that the Educator Strategy In Improving Students' Reading Ability In High Grades has been carried out by the teacher in grade 4, namely by doing direct learning strategy, not learning strategy direct, interactive learning strategies, learning strategies through experience, and independent learning strategies. Factor which affects the ability to improve reading students namely supporting factors that include, facilities and infrastructure, effective teaching materials/materials, and adequate facilities, while the inhibiting factors are environmental factors, lack of student interest in reading, intellectual factors (intelligence) and factors from parents.

Abstract

SDN Rawarengas 2 is a school located in one of the areas in Tangerang Regency, precisely in Rawarengas Village. Learning is basically a process of interaction between educators and students, both direct (face-to-face) and indirect interaction (learning activities using learning media in web applications). Multicultural-based learning in elementary schools plays an important role in developing the nation's character that is inclusive and respects diversity. In this era of globalization, society is increasingly diverse with various cultural backgrounds, tribes, religions, and different traditions. Therefore, education that focuses on multiculturalism is important to prepare the younger generation to face the challenges and needs of an increasingly complex society. This study used an interview method to one of the teachers of SDN Rawarengas 2. The interview was conducted directly/offline by approaching the speakers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) to know the results of the development of interactive video learning media based on macromedia flash; 2) to know the feasibility of material and media on interactive learning media based on macromedia flash; and 3) to know the students' response to interactive learning media based on macromedia flash on basic competence analyzing dishes from eggs. The development model used the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this study only reached the development stage because it only aims to produce interactive video products. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with the subject of 2 material expert validators, 2 media expert validators, and grade XI Tata Boga students at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The research showed: 1) the media has been developed with the ADDIE method (up to stage 3) and can be accessed by students via gdrive; 2) the feasibility of material and media shows very feasible results (3.53 and 3.56); and 3) student responses show very good (3.38). It can be concluded that the interactive video learning media based on macromedia flash on basic competencies dishes from eggs for grade XI students of vocational school of culinary is highly suitabel to use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The results of the development of a digital pocketbook of sanitation hygiene training for food handlers of Rungkut Surabaya cake village, (2) The feasibility of digital pocketbook material, (3) The feasibility of digital pocketbook media, (4) The response of food handlers of Rungkut Surabaya cake village to the feasibility of digital pocketbook of sanitation hygiene training. This research method is R&D with the PLOMP development model with only four stages due to the limited time and costs required for research. Validation of digital pocketbooks involves three material experts and three media experts, The object of research is a digital pocketbook. Questionnaires used in data collection are material validation sheets, media and digital pocketbook user response questionnaires. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively quantitative. The results showed: (1) The results of the digital pocket book that have been made in the form of online links covering hygiene sanitation material, (2) The digital pocket book material is feasible with an average value of 85% including the interpretation of very feasible and (3) The digital pocket book media is feasible with an average value of 87% including the interpretation of very feasible (4) The response of food handlers obtained an average score of 86% with a very good interpretation. This implies that the digital pocket book of the research results can be used in training and learning.

Abstract

Personality psychology is psychology that specifically describes the structure of the human person, regarding the types of human personality. Personality psychology is one of the special and very important parts or characteristics for human life. Therefore personality psychology is a very important thing to study. Personality psychology, like other branches of psychology, makes a valuable contribution to the understanding of human beings through the scientific framework of psychology. What distinguishes personality psychology from other branches of psychology is its attempt to synthesize and integrate the principles contained in these other fields of psychology. In the field of psychology there is no single field that has such a broad area as personality psychology. Psychology of personality in education in schools is scientific knowledge about the nature or character of a person in the educational aspect or more specifically the character and nature of students, where a teacher can know and understand the character and characteristics of his students in order to achieve an optimal learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of the Madurese food name. This research is qualitative and descriptive. The data sources for this study are documents. The instrument in this study is researchers who play an active role in data acquisition in the field. The data source is a document, and the data for this research is Madurese food names. The results of this study show the types of meanings in Madurese foods are lexical, referential, denotative, connotative, and associative.

Abstract

Demonstration activities that often occur, many lead to riots in the form of destruction of facilities, congestion, and can even lead to clashes. Riots occur due to the presence of demonstrators and police officers who are in charge of securing demonstrations. The mass control force is one of the functions in the Bhayangkara samapta unit or SABHARA to secure every demonstration, so SABHARA needs to obey every applicable regulation, where obedience is related to locus of control. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between locus of control and obedience in police members of the SABHARA unit at X police station. The sampling technique used in this study was quota sampling by getting 85 respondents. The measuring instruments used are the obedience scale and the locus of control scale. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient value between obedience and internal locus of control of 0.320 with a significant level of 0.003 and on the variable of obedience and external locus of control of 0.141 with a significant level of 0.0198 p≤0.05, so it can be stated that there is no relationship between locus of control and obedience both in internal locus of control and external locus of control in police members of the SABHARA unit at X police station.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang in Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This study aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes through the application of the snowball throwing model to fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang in Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle is held in three meetings. Each cycle in this study went through 4 stages, namely, the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The subjects in this study were 28 grade V students of SD Inpres Kampung Mejang. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the analysis of learning achievement test data in cycle I, out of 28 students, only 7 students passed with a learning completeness percentage of 25% and those who did not meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM = 70) were 21 students with a learning completeness percentage of 75% with an average score overall students in cycle I is 58.85. In cycle II the number of students who passed increased to 24 students with a complete learning percentage of 85.71% and the number of students who did not meet the KKM was 4 students with a percentage of 14.28% with an average overall student score in cycle II of 80.78. The conclusion in this study is that through the application of the snowball throwing model it can improve social studies learning outcomes in fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kampung Mejang in Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model Inquiry Learning variasi pembelajaran sosial emosional. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas II SDN Srondol Wetan 05. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi melalui dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran dengan model Inquiry Learning variasi pembelajaran sosial emosional dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I pertemuan 1 sebesar 63% dan pertemuan 2 sebesar 71%, meningkat pada siklus II pertemuan 1 sebesar 82% dan pertemuan 2 sebesar menjadi 87% pada kategori peningkatan “ Sangat Tinggi”.
