The solution to overcome these pests and diseases is through counseling, direct practice and assistance to the people of Bloro Village, especially members of the Plea Puli and Metenler farmer groups, as well as teaching them how to control pests and diseases that often occur in cocoa plantations in Bloro Village, namely the Cocoa Fruit Borer (PBK). ), Cocoa Fruit Rot (BBK) and Helopeltis SPP. In dealing with Pests and Diseases in Cocoa Plants, efforts need to be made, namely by carrying out control techniques such as sarongization, destroying ant nests, and spraying using vegetable pesticides, so that the cocoa plants can provide good and increased production results. It is hoped that this activity can have a sustainable positive impact on the people of Bloro Village, especially members of the Plea Puli and Metenler farming groups and become an inspiring example for being able to overcome pests and diseases in cocoa plants.

Abstract

During the outbreak of SARCOV-2 cases, the search for alternative treatments increased, especially from nature. So that materials from nature get the highest position. In Indonesia, this natural ingredient is known as Jamu. However, use in society is still very simple without any supervision from various security aspects. Therefore, the aim of this activity is to socialize about CPOTB and practice directly the process of making traditional medicine. The methods used in this activity are presentation, discussion, pretest-posttest and practice of making herbal tea. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of the community who are members of the GKN prostrations related to CPOTB, this can be seen in the increase in pretest and posttest scores, besides that there is an increase in the ability of GKN members in making traditional medicinal preparations specifically herbal teas, another thing is an increase in ability GKN members in knowing and using traditional medicine making equipment. Abstract

Indonesia as a large industrial country contributes 20% of GDP. However, the lack of awareness of waste during production creates problems. Inorganic waste, such as plastic pipes, is often disposed of at a low value. An effective strategy is to use flowcharts. Flowcharts help understand complex steps, team communication, and identify waste reduction opportunities. At PT Nova Indonesia, flow diagrams are used to develop new products from pipe waste. This simplifies processes, reduces errors, and creates high-value products from waste. With the development of the right flow chart, waste can be reprocessed into quality products, supporting the environment and industrial sustainability.

Abstract

The existence of a fairly large number of MSMEs also requires competitiveness so that existing MSMEs remain competitive and can survive and develop. Apart from that, the development of digital technology also has an influence so that MSMEs can adapt. One method that can be used by MSME actors is to utilize and use information technology tools to support MSME activities, especially in marketing and promotional activities. The problem currently faced by partners is a lack of knowledge about the use of digital technology to support their MSME businesses. The results of the service team's interview with the head of ASMAMI Bontang showed that more than 50% of MSME actors under the auspices of ASMAMI Bontang did not have the skills to use digital technology. Apart from that, the infrastructure, especially technological equipment owned by MSMEs for marketing and promotional activities, is still limited. Another problem is that there are not enough MSME players to present their products in the form of attractive images to promote and advertise. The service stages consist of the preparation stage, socialization stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage and reporting stage and dissemination of service results. Community service activities in the form of empowerment to increase digital literacy and development of online catalog media at the Bontang City Food and Beverage Association have been carried out well and smoothly. Assistance activities in the form of product photo training, use of the asmamibontang.com application, introduction to digital marketing features and graphic design training using Canva received a good response from the participants who are MSMEs under the auspices of ASMAMI Bontang

This training activity aims to increase students' knowledge and skills about natural acid-base indicators and their manufacture in the form of litmus-like paper. The training was held in the chemistry laboratory of SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang on October 13 2023 and was attended by 30 participants. The materials used in making natural indicator paper during the training were purple golden flowers, turmeric, red spinach, bougainvillea, and hibiscus flowers. The test samples included soapy water, toothpaste water, vinegar solution, fizzy drinks, coffee water and baking soda solution. Based on the results of filling in student feedback via the Google Form link, it was found that this activity could increase students' knowledge and skills, as well as change students' perceptions of chemistry to be more positive.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the diseases that cause significant deaths. Cancer is most commonly suffered by women classified as breast cancer and cervical cancer. Breast cancer is the highest cause of death for female cancer sufferers in Indonesia. One alternative that can be done to prevent or inhibit cancer is the use of chemopreventive agents that can be found by exploring natural materials. Chemopreventive agents can be found in fruits and vegetables, which contain lots of lycopene. The most significant source of lycopene can be obtained from tomatoes. Tomatoes are known to be relatively cheap and easy to process, and they are always available in all seasons. Therefore, tomato processing can be used as a chemopreventive effort that all groups can carry out. Processing tomatoes can be used as an alternative prevention and effort to inhibit the growth of cancer cells for ordinary people by participating in training, mentoring and consultation activities.

Abstract

The community engagement program in the village of Ban, Karangasem-Bali, is focused on improving the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) production, which has traditionally relied on conventional technology. Embracing a community-based approach, this program introduces tiered filtration technology as an innovative solution in the VCO production process. Through a series of activities such as surveys, socialization, demonstrations, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E), the residents of Ban Village receive training and information related to this technology. Throughout the community engagement process, it becomes evident that the introduction of tiered filtration technology has successfully increased the community's interest in producing VCO. The community gains better knowledge about the VCO production process, enhances their skills, and boosts their confidence in adopting this new technology. Furthermore, VCO produced using tiered filtration technology exhibits significant improvements in quality, marketability, and shelf life compared to the conventional methods previously used. As a result, VCO production in Ban Village experiences growth, contributing to the improvement of the local economy and enhancing the well-being of the community. Moreover, the production of high-quality VCO also encourages the promotion of this local product in both local and regional markets. Therefore, this effort not only impacts the enhancement of VCO production quality but also plays a crucial role in advancing rural communities and promoting high-quality VCO products in broader markets.
