Abstract

This study analyzes social entrepreneurship business models in empowering housewives through hand-woven micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Poto Village, integrating educational management dimensions in community-based economic activities. A qualitative approach was applied, with informants selected using the snowball sampling technique. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that the Poto Village weaving business model has a strong social entrepreneurship orientation, with women weavers actively contributing to household income and cultural preservation. Key value propositions include authentic traditional motifs, gold threads, crystals, and a manual production process passed down through generations. Customer relationships remain trust-based, marketing relies on direct sales and word-of-mouth, and formal partnerships with government and digital platforms are limited. From an educational management perspective, empowerment involves planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation through training, mentoring, and skill development. The Triple Layer Business Model Canvas analysis highlights increased income, women’s economic independence, social cohesion, and cultural sustainability. Integrating educational management dimensions into social entrepreneurship can enhance the sustainability and transformative impact of community-based MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the head of madrasah in optimizing educational administration, with a particular focus on the transition toward digital administration at MTs Miftahul Jannah Mantingan, Ngawi. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving key informants consisting of the head of madrasah, vice principal for curriculum, administrative staff, and teachers. The findings reveal that the head of madrasah plays a strategic role as an administrator, manager, supervisor, and motivator in driving administrative transformation. The madrasah has initiated digitalization by utilizing Google Spreadsheet and Google Form, as well as specialized applications such as the Madrasah Budget Plan (RK) and Digital Madrasah Report (RDM), particularly in financial administration. This transition has resulted in improved work efficiency and positive responses from students’ parents. However, several challenges persist, including limited internet infrastructure, financial constraints, and inadequate human resources with sufficient digital competencies. The study implies that the optimization of educational administration is highly dependent on visionary leadership of the head of madrasah, particularly in continuous planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising administrative processes, as well as in empowering educational personnel and effectively integrating information technology to establish an orderly, transparent, and accountable administrative system

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital transformation of educational administration at MTs Miftahul Jannah, Ngawi, in order to improve service quality and operational efficiency. In the digital era, educational institutions are required to shift from manual administrative processes to integrated digital systems to ensure transparency and data-driven decision-making. This research employed a qualitative approach using a field research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and field observations involving the principal, administrative staff, and students. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that MTs Miftahul Jannah has successfully initiated digital transformation in financial administration by utilizing digital platforms such as Google Forms and AppSheet, which contributed to improved efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness of administrative services. However, the transformation has not yet been fully integrated due to challenges related to unstable internet connectivity and limited digital literacy among human resources. The study implies that sustainable digital transformation in madrasah administration requires continuous capacity building, systematic training programs, and strengthened technological infrastructure. These efforts are essential to achieving a fully integrated digital education service system by 2029

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types and communicative functions of illocutionary acts employed in President Prabowo Subianto’s address delivered at the 2025 Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) and to examine their implications for national education management. Using a qualitative descriptive approach grounded in Searle’s Speech Act Theory, the data were obtained from the official transcript of the presidential address and analyzed through systematic classification and interpretative analysis. The findings reveal that representative and directive illocutionary acts dominate the speech, indicating the President’s efforts to assert national conditions, legitimize strategic policy directions, and encourage collective participation, including in the education sector. Commissive acts reflect governmental responsibility and long-term commitment to educational reform and human resource development, while expressive acts function to reinforce moral values, ideological orientation, and emotional engagement with stakeholders. These results suggest that illocutionary acts serve as strategic tools in political communication and leadership discourse. The study implies that understanding speech acts in presidential discourse is essential for education managers and policymakers, as such discourse shapes policy orientation, institutional governance, and the implementation of national education management strategies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types and pragmatic functions of speech acts performed by the character Anxiety in Pixar’s animated film Inside Out 2 and to examine their implications for educational management, particularly in the context of social-emotional learning. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach grounded in Speech Act Theory, the data were obtained from Anxiety’s utterances in the film and analyzed through classification and interpretative techniques. The utterances were categorized based on Searle’s taxonomy of illocutionary acts. The findings reveal that directive and expressive speech acts dominate Anxiety’s language, reflecting its role as a controlling and protective emotion that influences decision-making and emotional regulation during adolescence. Directive acts function to manage behavior and anticipate risk, while expressive acts convey emotional tension, concern, and fear. These results indicate that speech acts in animated films serve as linguistic representations of psychological states. The study implies that understanding emotional speech acts can support educational management practices, particularly in classroom management and social-emotional learning programs, by providing insights into how language shapes emotional regulation, student behavior, and supportive learning environments

Abstract

This study aims to examine expressive speech acts in Habiburrahman El Shirazy’s novel Kembara Rindu and to explore how these speech acts reflect educational leadership and management values within socio-religious contexts. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study adopts a pragmatic framework grounded in Speech Act Theory to analyze selected character dialogues. The data consist of utterances expressing gratitude, apology, praise, complaint, lamentation, and religious wishes, which are examined to identify their types and pragmatic functions within the narrative. The findings reveal that expressive speech acts are predominantly employed to maintain interpersonal harmony, reinforce moral positioning, and construct religious identity. Moreover, these expressive acts function as strategic linguistic tools that reflect core dimensions of educational management, including value-based leadership, ethical communication, emotional regulation, and character formation. Rather than serving merely as emotional expressions, the speech acts demonstrate how language operates as a managerial instrument for guiding behavior, managing social relations, and transmitting educational values. This study implies that literary texts can serve as reflective resources for educational management by illustrating effective communication practices and moral leadership, thereby contributing to the development of character-based and value-oriented educational management models.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of creativity and product innovation on business development and competitiveness in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), using Bale Seafood as a case study. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with the business owner and direct field observations. The findings reveal that the owner’s creativity in developing diversified processed seafood products, combined with continuous packaging innovation, significantly contributes to business growth, market expansion, and long-term sustainability. Innovation practices at Bale Seafood extend beyond product improvement to include adaptive learning processes, customer engagement, and community-based knowledge exchange. From an educational management perspective, these practices reflect informal learning, experiential knowledge development, and capacity building within the enterprise. The study implies that strengthening learning-based management, entrepreneurial education, and skill development is essential for enhancing MSME innovation capacity. Support from stakeholders, such as training programs and mentoring, can further facilitate the transfer of knowledge and the adoption of appropriate technology. Overall, integrating educational management principles into innovation strategies can serve as an effective approach to improving MSME competitiveness in dynamic market environments.

Abstract

Learning at the senior high school (SMA) level represents a critical phase in students’ academic and psychological development. In Indonesia, the senior high school completion rate remains relatively low, indicating the need to examine psychological factors that support students’ optimal learning experiences. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and academic flow among senior high school students in Surabaya. A quantitative correlational research design was employed, involving 250 students from grades X and XI selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using self-efficacy and academic flow scales and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple regression techniques. The results showed a strong and significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and academic flow (r = 0.613; p < 0.01), indicating that students with higher self-efficacy tend to experience higher levels of academic flow. Furthermore, self-efficacy was found to be a significant predictor of academic flow, demonstrating its substantial contribution to students’ engagement in learning activities. These findings imply that strengthening students’ self-efficacy is a crucial psychological and managerial strategy for fostering optimal learning experiences and enhancing academic engagement in senior high school contexts. Educational management practices that support confidence, autonomy, and mastery-oriented learning environments are therefore recommended to improve students’ academic flow

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a comprehensive implementation strategy for a digital visualization-based management system in the Baitul Arqom program as a core non-formal Islamic education initiative for cadre regeneration to improve data utilization and decision-making efficiency. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with administrators of the Council for Cadre Education (Majelis Pendidikan Kader) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), which were analyzed using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The findings indicate that although Baitul Arqom has a strong organizational structure and ideological foundation, its management remains constrained by manual administrative processes, limited technological infrastructure, and low digital literacy among senior administrators. Based on the SWOT analysis, a three-phase implementation strategy was formulated, consisting of infrastructure modernization, human resource capacity building, and the development of a digital visualization dashboard for real-time monitoring and evaluation. This study implies that the successful implementation of a visualization-based management system requires a holistic approach that prioritizes organizational culture transformation, continuous capacity development, and phased system adoption to ensure sustainable and data-driven cadre management within the Baitul Arqom program

Abstract

Learning evaluation management is a critical component in ensuring the achievement of Indonesian language learning objectives in higher education. This study aims to analyze the optimization of learning evaluation management at ITS NU Lampung using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) approach and the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to gain a comprehensive understanding of evaluation effectiveness and its contribution to improving student learning outcomes. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, involving lecturers and students enrolled in the Indonesian Language course. The findings indicate that, based on the POAC approach, evaluation planning has not been grounded in needs analysis, organizational arrangements lack institutional standards, implementation remains focused on cognitive aspects, and supervision lacks quality control mechanisms. Using the CIPP model, it was found that context analysis is insufficient, input utilization is suboptimal, the evaluation process tends to be conventional, and evaluation results have not been used as a basis for continuous improvement. The study highlights the need for a more systematic and coordinated evaluation management, including the implementation of standardized assessment instruments, enhancement of authentic assessment, and provision of formative feedback, to improve the effectiveness of learning and student outcomes
