Abstract

This study aims to analyze visionary leadership in enhancing madrasah sustainability in the digital era. The research employed a qualitative case study approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed through a cyclical process consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Ampel has successfully developed an educational vision aligned with advancements in digital technology and has actively improved teachers’ digital competencies through continuous professional development programs. The empowerment of digital educational resources has also been carried out through the provision of hardware, as well as access to online learning applications and platforms. Furthermore, the integration of technology into the learning process has enhanced both interactivity and flexibility. However, challenges remain regarding the availability of comprehensive digital learning materials, particularly for Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on technology integration in Islamic education and provides insights for educational leaders and policymakers on leveraging technology more effectively to improve learning quality in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in improving educational quality in elementary schools. The research applies a qualitative case study approach to explore HRM practices, including teacher allocation, learning process management, leadership roles, and teacher performance evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving principals and teachers, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and verification techniques. The findings reveal that teacher allocation is relatively adequate, although continuous evaluation is still required. The learning process is implemented in a structured manner, yet still faces challenges in instructional variation and learning support. The principal plays an important role in providing direction and motivation through meetings, supervision, and mentoring, although consistency remains an issue. Teacher performance evaluation is conducted regularly, but follow-up actions need improvement. The study implies that effective HRM contributes significantly to educational quality improvement by strengthening teacher performance and school management systems. It also provides practical insights for improving leadership consistency, instructional quality, and evaluation effectiveness in schools, while highlighting the need for broader future studies across different educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of public relations management and public services to strengthening the quality of madrasah education. The study was motivated by the growing importance of public relations and service quality in building public trust, community participation, and a positive institutional image within increasingly complex educational demands. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The study was grounded in Grunig and Hunt’s Two-Way Symmetrical Theory and Stakeholder Theory. The findings reveal that public relations management and public services functioned in an integrated and participatory manner, despite the absence of a formal public relations structure. Dialogic communication, student-oriented services, collaborative relationships with parents, and well-planned resource management contributed significantly to improving educational quality. The implications of this study emphasize that public relations play a strategic role in strengthening institutional quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and the sustainability of educational programs in madrasah education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public relations management in enhancing school branding within an Islamic primary education institution. The research focuses on the execution of public relations functions, communication strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors, and their contribution to shaping the school’s image. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the school principal as the main informant. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that public relations management has not been systematically organized and still tends to function administratively rather than strategically. Although the school has implemented various communication strategies with parents and the community through meetings and social media, school branding is primarily strengthened by flagship programs and institutional achievements. The study implies that strengthening organizational structure, communication planning, and human resources in public relations management is essential to develop sustainable and competitive school branding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process and outcomes of internalizing spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence among post-madrasah aliyah santri through the khidmah program in Islamic boarding school education. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to understand the meaning and experiences of santri in carrying out service-based activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis technique used data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification to obtain comprehensive findings. The results of the study indicate that the internalization of spiritual and emotional intelligence was carried out through exemplary practices, habituation, value understanding, reflective awareness, and service-oriented responsibilities within the khidmah program. The program successfully fostered religious attitudes, sincerity, discipline, patience, humility, emotional control, cooperation, responsibility, and social awareness among santri. In addition, the khidmah program contributed to the development of independence and emotional maturity through direct interaction and social engagement in daily activities. The implications of this study show that service-based educational programs can become an effective strategy for strengthening holistic character education by integrating spiritual and emotional dimensions in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize existing research on artificial intelligence (AI) enabled quality management and digital transformation in education and to examine their implications for Islamic education. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted using Scopus as the primary database. Relevant publications were identified through keywords related to artificial intelligence, quality, education, and leadership. From 179 initial records, 24 articles were selected through screening, eligibility assessment, and thematic relevance analysis. The findings reveal that AI contributes to educational quality through personalized learning, adaptive assessment, learning analytics, digital mentorship, improved academic services, and data-informed decision-making. The review further indicates that the successful implementation of AI and digital transformation depends on institutional readiness, digital leadership, governance structures, teacher competence, quality assurance systems, and ethical oversight. The study highlights that educational quality should not be measured solely by technological efficiency or academic performance. For Islamic education, quality management should also incorporate moral development, religious literacy, proper ethical conduct, trustworthiness, justice, honesty, spiritual growth, and human-centered pedagogy. The findings provide a conceptual framework for integrating AI-driven quality management with value-based educational principles and offer guidance for future research and institutional policy development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices during the period 2015–2025. The research employed a quantitative explanatory approach using quarterly financial statement and stock price data, resulting in 44 observations. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with HAC (Newey–West) standard errors to address autocorrelation issues in time-series data. Prior to hypothesis testing, classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests were conducted. The findings reveal that Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, indicating that profitability remains a key factor influencing investor valuation. Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) also demonstrates a positive and significant effect, suggesting that leverage is perceived as a strategic financing instrument supporting growth opportunities. In contrast, Current Ratio (CR) does not significantly affect stock prices, implying that liquidity information is less relevant to investors compared to profitability and growth prospects. Simultaneously, ROA, CR, and DER significantly influence stock prices, with an adjusted R² of 72.49%. The study contributes to the literature by highlighting the differing relevance of financial ratios in technology-driven firms and supports Signaling Theory, Trade-off Theory, and Adaptive Market Hypothesis in explaining investor behavior during periods of technological transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) curriculum for early childhood from the perspectives of Al-Khabisi and Ibn Khaldun and examine its implications for contemporary Islamic educational management. This research employed a qualitative library research design using philosophical and comparative approaches. Data were collected from classical and contemporary literature, including books, journal articles, and educational documents, and analyzed through descriptive qualitative content analysis involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Al-Khabisi emphasized intensive Qur’an memorization during early childhood as a strategic stage for strengthening memory and shaping Islamic character, while Ibn Khaldun promoted a gradual, psychologically adaptive, and child-centered learning process integrating memorization with understanding. Both scholars agreed that the Qur’an should serve as the primary foundation of early childhood Islamic education and character formation. The study implies that contemporary tahfidz curriculum management should combine structured memorization, discipline, and habituation with developmentally appropriate and humanistic approaches to support children’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and moral development.
