Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact across various sectors, including education. However, the understanding and application of AI in Indonesia's educational environment still face several challenges, such as low digital literacy and limited technological infrastructure. This community service activity aimed to enhance educators’ and education stakeholders’ literacy and understanding of the potential and challenges of using AI in the learning process. The activity was conducted in the form of a webinar titled “Educational Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence Innovation”, attended by 100 participants from diverse backgrounds. The materials presented covered fundamental AI concepts, its application in education, as well as relevant ethical and policy issues. Evaluation results showed an average increase of 60% in participants’ understanding scores after attending the webinar. In addition, over 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content delivered and showed interest in follow-up activities. This activity demonstrates that an educational approach through webinars is effective in improving AI literacy among educators and can serve as an initial step toward a more adaptive and inclusive educational transformation.

Abstract

Semantic studies in linguistics are a fundamental aspect of understanding the structure of meaning and language interpretation. However, in practice, various semantic issues arise, such as ambiguity, meaning deviation, semantic shifts, and the use of metaphors—particularly in the increasingly evolving digital communication landscape. This article provides an in-depth analysis of these forms of semantic problems and presents scientific approaches to address them. Through a literature review of various relevant sources and studies, it is found that semantic issues are dynamic and contextual in nature; thus, their resolution requires an interdisciplinary approach involving pragmatics and sociolinguistics. Contextual understanding of semantics is key to bridging meaning gaps in language interaction.

Abstract

This final project report discusses the application of 3D animation techniques in the Little Ammar series, Season 04 Episode 03, with a primary focus on optimizing character expressions to appear more natural and communicative for a young audience. The project utilizes Blender software to implement various techniques such as advanced rigging, pose-to-pose animation, and the use of the Graph Editor. This approach aims to create expressive character movements that align with the narrative and match the child-friendly visual style. The production process includes stages ranging from storyboard planning, modeling, rigging, and animation to rendering and result evaluation. The results of the project demonstrate that techniques such as flexible facial expression controls, real video references, and classical animation principles such as anticipation, timing, and squash and stretch successfully enhance the visual quality and storytelling. Evaluation was conducted on both technical and narrative aspects, indicating the project's success in delivering animation that is not only aesthetically appealing but also effective in conveying moral messages. Technical challenges such as stiff motion transitions and difficulties in mimicking children's movements were successfully overcome through appropriate strategies, resulting in an animation that can be well enjoyed by children on the Durioo digital platform.

Abstract

This study examines the development of Malay Islamic heritage in Palembang from the era of the Sultanate to the modern period. As an old city that experienced cultural acculturation between local, Malay, and Islamic traditions, Palembang holds a strong historical legacy in the development of Islam, particularly since the establishment of the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate in the 17th century. The aim of this study is to analyze the intention and transformation of Islamic and Malay cultural values in the lives of Palembang's people. The method used is historical, with a qualitative approach to trace both primary and secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that the legacy of the Palembang Sultanate is still visible in architecture, traditions, and social practices. The Great Mosque of Palembang and the Bala Putra Dewa Museum serve as physical evidence preserving the Malay Islamic identity. However, globalization and cultural regeneration pose challenges to its preservation. In conclusion, although the Malay Islamic heritage in Palembang still exists, more effective preservation strategies are needed to ensure that cultural and religious values remain sustainable amidst changing times.

Abstract

Syntactic studies in modern linguistics have undergone significant development, particularly in their application to mass media as a means of public communication. However, various spelling errors are still found in news writing, reflecting a lack of adherence to the rules of the Indonesian language as outlined in the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). This article aims to analyze spelling errors in mass media news and examine their implications for Indonesian syntax. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study identifies common types of spelling errors, such as the use of capital letters, writing of loanwords, and punctuation. The results of the analysis show that spelling errors in mass media can affect syntactic structure and readers' understanding of the information conveyed. Therefore, it is essential for writers and editors in the media to understand and apply correct spelling rules in order to maintain language quality in public communication.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and Internal Control on the sales levels of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sungai Penuh City. The background of this research is based on the importance of implementing effective AIS and internal control in supporting operational activities and achieving sales performance among MSMEs amid increasingly competitive business conditions. This research uses a quantitative approach, in which data were collected through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to MSME practitioners. The population includes all MSMEs operating in Sungai Penuh City, with samples selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria such as business duration, business scale, and the use of information systems in transaction recording. The data analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression to examine both the simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results show that, partially, the Accounting Information System has a positive and significant effect on the sales level of MSMEs in Sungai Penuh City. Meanwhile, Internal Control does not have a significant effect on sales levels. However, simultaneously, Accounting Information Systems and Internal Control have a significant effect on sales performance. These findings highlight the importance of implementing a well-structured accounting information system to support improved sales performance, as well as the need for the development of a more organized internal control system within the MSME sector.

Abstract

Character development in students has become a key focus in primary education, particularly in strengthening the values of discipline and responsibility. This research was motIated by the observation that students at SDN 10 Kamang Baru still show low levels of these character traits. To address this issue, the Community SerIIIce Program (KKN) was implemented as a strategy to instill and reinforce these values through educational actIities and exemplary behaIIIor by unIersity students. The objectIe of this study is to describe the impact of the KKN program on strengthening students’ character, specifically in terms of discipline and responsibility. This study employed a qualitatIe descriptIe approach, involIIIng 30 students from grades I to III, 3 classroom teachers, and 1 school principal as participants. Data collection techniques included observation, interIIIews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ discipline and responsibility after the implementation of the KKN program. Approximately 83% of students showed improved discipline, such as punctuality and adherence to school rules, while 76% of students demonstrated increased responsibility, such as completing assignments on time and maintaining classroom cleanliness. Teachers and the principal confirmed that the KKN program had a positIe impact on students’ attitudes and behaIIIor, particularly through habitual practices, value reinforcement, and direct modeling by KKN participants. Conclusion: The KKN program effectIely strengthens the character of discipline and responsibility among elementary school students. This program can serve as a model for collaboration between higher education institutions and schools in developing the character of future generations with integrity.
