Abstract

This study examines the relationship between time management and motivation on academic performance among university students. The objective of the research is to explore how these factors influence academic outcomes and to address inconsistencies in prior findings. A quantitative methodology was employed, targeting the entire student population of a private university in East Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, ensuring convenience and accessibility. Pearson Correlation analysis was used to assess the relationships between the variables. The results revealed that time management was not significantly associated with academic performance, while motivation demonstrated a significant positive correlation with academic outcomes. These findings underscore the importance of fostering motivation and cultivating positive attitudes to enhance academic success. The study highlights practical implications for educators and policymakers in designing interventions that target motivational factors to improve student performance in higher education settings.

Abstract

Many MSMEs in Indonesia continue to face challenges in understanding digital halal certification due to limited access to technology and digital infrastructure. To address this issue, effective technological education and online halal certification training are essential to help MSMEs fully utilize the certification process. This study aims to explore the opportunities and benefits of digital transformation in halal certification for MSMEs. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research focuses on MSMEs in Kraton Village, Kencong, Jember, that have obtained halal certification through a mobile application. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method, which includes data reduction, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings reveal a significant positive impact of digital technology—particularly mobile applications—on the halal certification process for MSMEs. The adoption of digital tools has significantly reduced administrative burdens by simplifying the certification application process, minimizing the need for physical documents, and streamlining bureaucratic procedures. These results indicate that digital technology enhances administrative efficiency, expands market opportunities, and improves access to halal certification. However, this study has limitations, including a narrow sample size and the lack of long-term analysis. Future research should expand the sample, investigate long-term effects, and assess the training and challenges faced by MSMEs in adopting digital halal certification.

Abstract

The 2024 simultaneous regional elections involve various stakeholders in the oversight process, including Polling Station Supervisors or Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) supervisors. However, the high workload caused by constant work notifications can affect the balance between work and personal life (work-life balance). This study aims to analyze the impact of work notifications on the work-life balance of TPS supervisors in Bruno District. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires completed by 94 TPS supervisors. A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to identify the relationship between the intensity of work notifications and the level of work-life balance. The results indicate that work notifications have a significant impact on work-life balance, with higher notification frequency contributing to a decline in life balance. This study provides valuable insights for election organizers in designing a more humane work system to improve the well-being of TPS supervisors. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for more effective policymaking to support the sustainability of the electoral system in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming, online customer reviews, and influencer marketing on consumer buying interest in the TikTok Shop application. The research was conducted at Darul Ulum Lamongan Islamic University using a quantitative approach, with a sample of 98 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using partial and simultaneous tests with SPSS 26. The coefficient of determination test, based on the R Square value, revealed that live streaming, online customer reviews, and influencer marketing collectively influence consumer buying interest by 42.6%. The statistical analysis yielded the following findings: (1) live streaming, online customer reviews, and influencer marketing collectively impact consumer buying interest; (2) online customer reviews do not have a significant effect on consumer buying interest; (3) influencer marketing has a positive and significant influence on consumer buying interest; and (4) live streaming, online customer reviews, and influencer marketing, when considered together, significantly affect consumer buying interest. These findings highlight the critical role of influencer marketing and live streaming in shaping consumer behavior on the TikTok Shop platform, while online customer reviews appear to have a less significant impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price, product quality, customer rating, and online customer reviews on consumer trust among TikTok Shop users in Bali Province. TikTok Shop, as a social commerce platform, has experienced rapid growth and is widely used by various segments of society. Due to the large number of users, the quota sampling technique was employed to determine respondents proportionally. Each variable was allocated a quota of 20 respondents, resulting in a total sample size of 100 respondents based on five research variables. This research applies a quantitative approach by distributing online questionnaires to active TikTok Shop users in Bali. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 24, and multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to examine the effect of each independent variable on consumer trust. The results show that price, product quality, customer rating, and online customer review each have a positive and significant effect on consumer trust, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that consumer trust is influenced not only by pricing and product quality but also by the experiences and evaluations shared by other users on the platform.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in providing telecommunications services, where one of the tasks of its employees is maintenance. In the office area where they work, there are unidentified problems that make the employees uncomfortable. This research aims to determine the 6S assessment form score and the causes of the lowest score in certain variables, as well as to provide recommendations to improve the work area. This study uses the 6S method (sort, set in order, shine, standardization, sustain, and safety) for improving the work area. The results of this study show that the 6S score for the work area is 2.437, which is classified as below the minimum acceptable level, indicating the need for improvement. A fishbone diagram is used to investigate the cause and effect, and the 6S Identification Form is used to identify areas or facilities that can be proposed for improvement. The recommendations given to improve the work area include creating clear and firm SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), adding various shelves, replacing the existing trash bins with waste containers, and providing 6S training facilities to help employees better understand and raise awareness of the importance of implementing 6S as a work culture. These findings have practical implications for improving employee well-being and operational efficiency through systematic workplace organization, particularly for maintenance teams in the telecommunications sector.

Abstract

Analyzing online purchase intention in Thanksinsomnia Indonesia is crucial as it provides critical insights into consumer behavior in an increasingly digital environment. Online purchase intention reflects a consumer’s likelihood to make a purchase, which ultimately has a direct impact on revenue and business growth. By understanding the factors that influence online purchase intention, such as website quality, user experience, and the influence of social media influencers, companies can optimize their digital marketing strategies. In addition, this analysis helps in identifying potential barriers that may prevent consumers from making a purchase, allowing companies to make necessary improvements to increase conversions. In the context of intense competition in the e-commerce market, a deep understanding of online purchase intention also allows Thanksinsomnia to remain relevant and competitive, while building long-term relationships with customers. This article examines the influence of website quality and social media influencers on online purchase intention. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 200 respondents, who are active consumers of the brand. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The results showed that website quality has a significant and positive influence on online purchase intention, while the influence of social media influencers also contributes significantly to increasing online purchase intention. In conclusion, both website quality and social media influencers are important factors in shaping consumers' online purchase intentions. These findings provide practical implications for brand managers in optimizing their digital strategies to increase customer engagement and conversion.
