Abstract

This article was written using a literature study method by describing and comparing the characters of three traditional villages in Sundanese society, such as the Baduy Traditional Village, Naga Village and Cireundeu Traditional Village. The purpose of this article is to get an idea of how character education can improve the quality of life in Sundanese society in terms of their behavior, habits, and knowledge taught by their teachers. Sundanese people are famous for being a society that maintains noble values in their lives. Sundanese people still have strong nuances of ancestral traditions which become their character through culture, customs and advice. Education does not deserve to be called education if it ignores character formation, because knowledge without manners is useless. So the aim of the research from these three villages is to become an example of character education for children of the current millennial generation which has almost completely disappeared.

Abstract

This writing aims to explain the Inquiry Learning Strategy. Education is a learning process where a student receives and understands knowledge as part of himself. One of the determinants of the success of the teaching and learning process is how the teacher teaches. The selection and use of appropriate learning approaches, methods or strategies is intended for effective learning to occur. And one learning strategy to provide opportunities for students to discover their own knowledge and play an active role in learning so that they are able to understand concepts well and develop critical thinking skills is the inquiry learning strategy. This research is qualitative research in the nature of a library research using documentation data collection methods and content analysis as the main objects. The approach used by researchers is a descriptive analysis approach. An inquiry learning strategy is a series of learning activities that emphasize the process of thinking critically and analytically to search for and find answers to a problem in question.

Abstract

Technological progress is one of the reasons for developing skills and awareness towards sustainable development in accordance with the SDGs goals. One effort that can be made is to develop digital literacy so that inequality and poverty are reduced or even non-existent. This is one of the goals of the SDGs, all of which have 17 goal points. These problems are problems faced in the world, even in Indonesia. To make this happen, especially for multicultural communities, digital literacy is needed. With its diversity potential, it will be a great opportunity to build multicultural relationships that understand digital literacy. This research aims to provide in-depth insight into the importance of awareness and digital literacy skills in multicultural societies to realize the 2030 SDGs. This research is a literature review using library study data collection techniques. From the results of the analysis, society's multicultural knowledge is always related to the understanding of the existence of cultures other than one's own. It is hoped that digital literacy can form an intelligent society that is sensitive to changes in technology and times. Educating the public about how to utilize the digital world is one way to advance the economy.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to provide an overview of relevant literature regarding the enhancement of motivation and cognitive learning achievements among high school students in physics courses through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. The research employs qualitative methods with a focus on literature review. The research process involves stages such as collecting, screening, presenting, discussing, and drawing conclusions from papers. The primary data source for this study comprises national journal articles published over the last five years (2018 to 2023). Among the identified articles, 10 out of 16 were found to align with the specified thematic focus. The application of the Discovery model in high school physics classes is executed in accordance with the referenced theoretical framework. Consequently, the implementation of the Discovery Learning model is shown to have a positive impact on increasing both motivation and cognitive learning outcomes for high school students in physics classes.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasas, when viewed from the perspective of the Humanist Education philosophy, emphasizes developing the unique potential of each student. This research aims to explore the views of humanist educational philosophy on the Independent Curriculum. This research uses descriptive analysis methods with library research and observations at MTs Rambatan, Tanah Datar Regency. The implications of this research can guide the view of humanist educational philosophy towards the implementation of the independent curriculum in Madrasas. The Humanism Education Philosophy focuses on human values, freedom and individual equality. In the context of the Independent Curriculum, this approach leads to giving Madrasahs the freedom to adapt the curriculum to pay more attention to students' individual needs, allowing them to explore their interests, talents and needs in more depth. Teachers in Madrasas become facilitators who support the holistic development process of students, both in terms of academics and moral values. Apart from that, this approach also encourages inclusivity and tolerance, respects differences and strengthens the values of mutual respect for cultural diversity and beliefs in the Madrasa educational environment. Thus, the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasas, seen from the perspective of the Humanist Education philosophy, emphasizes individual empowerment, the development of human values, and inclusive and in-depth learning for each student.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian language is closely related to language skills including; listening, speaking, reading and writing. An Indonesian language education teacher is expected to be able to teach and train students in their mastery of language skills that are useful in social life. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability and skills of writing recon texts in class X². This Classroom Action Research focuses on efforts to improve the ability to write recon texts through the Teaching at the Right Level approach, recon texts are texts that make an experience, either one's own experience or that of others by paying attention to the systematic writing in recon texts and understanding the types of recon texts including; factual recon texts, inspirational recon texts, and imaginative recon texts. Efforts to improve students' writing skills aim to achieve learning outcomes in writing elements through an attitude assessment process including independence, mutual cooperation, and critical reasoning in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum. The target subjects of the study were class X² in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research method with research design is Collaborative Classroom Action Research and Qualitative Descriptive, data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of this study show an increase in the ability to write recon text successfully through the Teaching at the Right Level approach with interactive media from cycle I with a result of 82.19 and cycle II with a result of 84.09.

Abstract

Every aspect of human life has been influenced by advances in digital technology, including in the field of Arabic language education. However, there are still some Arabic language educators who have not been able to adapt to current developments in this digital era. This research aims to analyze: 1) The challenges faced by Arabic language education in the digital era transformation. 2) Opportunities for Arabic language education in the digital era transformation. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique in this research uses a literature study approach. The results of this research show that there is a change in the paradigm of Arabic language education in the digital era, including: 1) The concept of education. 2) Use of Technology, and 3) The Role of Arabic Language Teachers in the Digital Era. The challenges include; 1) Teacher Maturity, 2) Infrastructure, and 3) Content Quality. While the opportunities are; 1) Increased Access to Education. 2) More innovative learning, and 3) Collaboration between Educational Institutions.

Abstract

The development of PUKIF (Creative Puzle) learning media for Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah students can significantly improve learning outcomes and student engagement. However, it is still little developed for civic education learning in madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. . This study aims to develop the design and test the feasibility of PUKIF (Creative Puzzle) learning media. This research involved 29 students of class II-D MIN 1 Kota Kediri for the trial. This type of research and development in this study is using Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design¸ Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The instruments in this study are interviews, observations, documentation, questionnaires for material and media expert assessments, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that (1) the validation results of 2 media experts showed that the learning media was suitable for use in the learning process with an average score of 3.8 and 3.8 from the score range of 3.25 ≤ ¯x ≤ 4.00, While the results of the operational field trial show that the learning media is feasible to use in the learning process with an average score of 1.93, the score range is 1 < ¯x ≤ 2. For further research, researchers should compare the effectiveness of PUKIF with other existing learning media, such as flashcards, educational games, or other interactive learning methods

Abstract

This research was motivated by first language acquisition and second language acquisition in children. This research aims to deepen our knowledge of Language acquisition and Language learning. The formulation of the problem used in this study includes the nature of language acquisition, differences in language acquisition and language learning in children and their stages, and the mechanism of language acquisition. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a literature study approach. Data in this study is obtained through journals, articles, or books related to the research topic. The result of this study is that language acquisition is often associated with the first language or also called the mother tongue. While language learning is often associated with a child's second language, which is a new language that children acquire after they acquire their first language. In addition, this study also discusses the mechanism of language acquisition which consists of imitation, conditioning, and social cognition mechanisms.

Abstract

Nowadays educational institutions are faced with problems of intolerance, sexual violence and bullying. One of the causes is the lack of understanding of educational stakeholders, or even not a comprehensive understanding of intolerance, sexual violence and bullying. This research discusses how the teaching materials for the Aqidah Akhlak Madrasah Aliyah subject present material related to this problem as a form of overcoming and preventing it. In the study of the Madrasah Aliyah Aqidah Akhlak subject textbook, it was discovered that on the issue of intolerance, this book presents a complete and complete outline. This can be seen from the discussion of washatiyah Islam and the recommendation for harmony between religious communities by prioritizing the attitudes of tasamuh, musawah, tawasuth and ukhuwah. On the other hand, the presentation of material related to sexual violence and bullying in this book is not the main material that specifically discusses the two, but only presents secondary material that is related, such as the story of the Prophet Luth (AS.), and his people, the manners of dressing, walking, adorning themselves. , avoid acts of adultery, cunning, injustice, discrimination and social etiquette among teenagers. Thus, the conclusion of this research is that it seems that the Ministry of Religion already has a structured and systematic formula for presenting intolerance material. This is because the issue of intolerance is the work area of ​​the Ministry of Religion.
