Abstract

Information literacy learning is very important for teachers and students to improve understanding and skills related to digital media. Learning activities and motivation become triggers for certain behaviors and attitudes and giving a resistance orientation will lead to persistence and not giving up easily getting results. This research introduces museums to students as a learning resource and reference. This type of research is qualitative. The public is invited to participate in interviews and observations, providing information, opinions and perceptions to understand social phenomena from one's point of view. The results show the extent to which management of cultural parks and museums encourages the use of information technology to attract visitors to educational institutions. Providing detailed information about museum collections and exhibits related to historical themes can help curators of cultural parks and museums motivate students to learn more. This is useful for engineering practitioners because it assists the public in exploring museum collections through newspapers, brochures, magazines, websites of cultural parks and museums, as well as online social media.

Abstract

This study aims to apply integrated multimedia learning in drawing female body proportions to enhance student learning outcomes. This research is a form of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this study were class X students of Fashion Design SMK Darussalam Banyuwangi totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, and cognitive and psychomotor tests. Learning outcomes using Video Tutorials, Handouts, and LKPD showed an average score in cycle I of 3.5 and cycle II of 3.8, with good categories. Student responses to learning media received an assessment of 91%, which was categorized as good. The level of student engagement in the use of this media reached 91%, indicating excellent engagement. Student learning outcomes experience significant improvements in each cycle. The average affective completeness increased from 3.6 in cycle I to 3.8 in cycle II. Post-test cognitive completeness also rose from 81% in cycle I to 97% in cycle II. Overall post-test completeness increased from 78% in cycle I to 91% in cycle II. The application of Video Tutorials, Handouts, and LKPD media has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, with excellent levels of engagement and learning outcomes. This research was stopped in cycle II because it had reached the Learning Objectives Attainment Criteria (KKTP).

Abstract

Video tutorials are teaching media that can facilitate student learning activities because of their effectiveness and efficiency. The research has the following objectives: 1). the feasibility level of digital motif design video tutorials 2). student learning outcomes after being shown a video tutorial on designing digital motifs. The study employs the ADDIE R&D (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research approach, utilising a one-shot case study research design. The study was conducted from May to November 2023. the study involved 32 students from Clothing Class 1 at SMKN 8 Surabaya. These six students participated in a limited trial. The research also involved two media experts from Surabaya State University and two material experts from SMKN 8 Surabaya lecturers. Collection methods include level evaluation processes such as video tutorials and assignment grading. The form of conformity evaluation of assignment sheets and learning videos serves as a research tool. Using a descriptive data analysis method, the average effectiveness of learning video services and categorise the learning outcomes based on CTF. Results of this study stated: 1. The development of video tutorials for designing digital motifs was declared feasible to implement with a total score of 4.6. The average score of material experts is 4.4, and media experts 4.8 2. Based on the results of class tests, we can resolve using video tutorial media to create digital motif designs as learning.

Abstract

This quantitative study will investigate the mathematical attitudes of primary teachers in Gaya District, Bihar, India, with the aim of understanding how demographic factors will influence these attitudes. By utilizing a modified version of Moreira C.M.'s (1992) Attitude towards Mathematics Inventory, the research has assess teachers' understanding, confidence, and pedagogical approaches in teaching mathematics. Data on gender, location, caste background, qualification, and teaching experiences will be collected through a structured questionnaire. A stratified random sampling technique has ensured representation across demographics, with a targeted sample size of at least 200 primary teachers. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and ANOVA, will be employed to examine the hypotheses regarding gender, location, caste background, qualification, and teaching experiences. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights into the factors shaping mathematical attitudes among primary teachers in a diverse educational context like Bihar, India, contributing to the ongoing educational reforms in the region.

Abstract

Education is a transformative tool that is critical to the progress and development of a nation. The goal of true education is more than the cognitive development and creative thought processes. It is also about character molding of a person, making a holistic individual. It is true that the foundation of a quality education is character. An individual's education cannot be complete without character, and the knowledge they have acquired will not benefit Nigerian society or themselves unless their character is transformed. This study identifies character deficit as a major challenge in Nigeria contemporary society. The research examines the issues and prospects, and how education can be applied through character reformation to address the problems. To achieve the purpose of this study, qualitative method research is utilized. It relies on secondary data collected from text books, journal articles, and was analyzed in relation to the scope of the study (Nigeria). The theoretical framework is drawn from the social learning theory of Albert Bandura’s and moral development theory of Jean Piaget which set out the progressive model on how the Nigerian society can be morally re-engineered to produce citizens that will contribute to the progress and growth of Nigeria. It concludes and recommends that an integrative and consensus approach be adopted to achieve this objective.

Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4. 0. Technological developments affect all aspects of human life, as well as education. Therefore, innovation is needed to achieve learning objectives. The goal is to produce a competitive workforce equipped with skills known as the 4Cs (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation). Reforms in the field of mathematics education to achieve the intended expectations include the use of tangible digital educational media. Researchers conducted research using systematic literature review methods to find out the latest facts about concrete and digital mathematics learning media in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4. 0. We interpret a total of 30 articles from various databases and make an overview of the use, advantages and disadvantages of digital and real mathematics educational media in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4. 0. The benefits of real educational media include improving students' problem-solving, creative and thinking skills, and visual reasoning. The advantages of digital learning media include efficiency and efficiency when learning mathematics, allowing for face-to-face (distance) learning, and eliminating the need for certain treatments. The shortcomings of concrete learning media require more consideration so that it takes a long time.
