<![CDATA[This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Mathematics Modules Based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) on the material of sequences and series in class VIII. The quality of the developed product is assessed based on aspects of the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the developed module. This research method uses the type of Research and Development (Research and Development) using a research design from the Borg and Gall procedure. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII Mts Negeri Labuhanbatu Utara, totaling 20 students. The results obtained are that the development of this module can improve student learning outcomes and understanding. The results of the validity of this module were tested from the validity of media experts and material experts getting an average score of 92.85% in the "very valid" category. Furthermore, the results of the practicality of this module were tested with student and teacher response questionnaires obtained an average score of 88.4% in the "very practical" category. In addition, the results of the effectiveness of the module product are tested with the Pretest - Posttest questions which are then calculated by the N - Gain Score test, while the students' average pretest score is 49.5 and the students' Posttest average score is 83.5, then the results of the N-Gain Score is 70.1% with the category "quite effective". So that the development of learning modules based on the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI) is said to be valid, practical and effective for use in class VIII SMP/MTS.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop mathematics learning media using Powtoon on set material in class VII SMP IT AL FAKHRI. This research also aims to find out the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the media in increasing students' interest in learning. This type of research is research development or Research and Development which refers to the ADDIE development model which stands for Analysis, Design, Development Implementation and Evaluation. VII grade students of SMP IT AL FAKHRI, totaling 22 people. The instrument used in this research is a validation sheet to measure the validity of the learning media developed by the response questionnaire sheet, the rest of the teacher response questionnaire sheet. The results of the study show (1) the validity of the learning media based on the assessment of media experts is 90% and by material experts is 85% with a very feasible category (2) the practicality of learning media based on the assessment by the teacher is 89% with a very practical category (3) the effectiveness of the media learning based on student learning interest questionnaires using tons obtained 83% with very high or very interested categories.]]>

<![CDATA[Education in a theoretical philosophical definition is human thought on educational problems solving and compiling new theories by based on normative, speculative, empirical rational, philosophical, and historical philosophical thinking. While rducation in the definition of practice is an optimal transfer or transformation of knowledge or development, as well as cultivating human beings in the transformation of key values. The purpose of Islamic education is to make students more wary of Allah SWT. The Industrial Revolution era 4.0 was an integration of technology and human to make work done easier. The problem of Islamic education is that the basic problem of education in Indonesia is the low quality of education. This is demonstrated by the large differences in the quality of education between regions. The State-level educational development index shows two trends. Islamic education needs to change, which is to change old ideas that are outdated and related to bureaucratic rules, to self-development and innovation cooperatives in an aspect of the world: to change the method of prioritizing education that fits modernity, especially in islamic education, which is embedded in the ancestral values of the nation and religion.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out: How does interest in learning and learning motivation influence learning achievement in class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Padang Sidimpuan Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is quantitative research. The population of this study was students of class VIII MTsN 3 Medan Helvetia, which consisted of one class. Sampling used cluster random sampling with an average of 40 per class. In this thesis, the researcher used a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, totaling 35 statement items. And to analyze the data the researchers used univariate analysis (mean, median mode, and standard deviation), analysis prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of interest in learning and learning motivation on learning achievement in class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Padang Sidimpuan Academic Year 2018/2019. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the information search method, the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the card sort method, and a comparison of the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the information search method and the card sort method in class VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan .This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental type. The population is all class VII students of SMP Negeri 13 Medan for the 2021/2022 Academic Year which consists of five classes with a total of 160 students. The sample of this research was class VII-1 students who found 30 people as the experimental class 1 which uses the Information Search and VII-2 learning methods which find 30 people as an experimental class 2 which uses the Card Sort learning method. From the average learning outcomes obtained by students who were taught by the card sort information search method better than students who were taught by the card sort method. In the hypothesis test using the t-test with a significant level = 0.05. The price of tcount = 2.25, and ttable = 1.67 thus obtained the price of tcount > ttable or 2.25 <1.67, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusions of this study explained that the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 13 Medan on the subject matter of the quadrilaterals taught were significantly different from the method of information retrieval and sorting of cards.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of a realistic mathematical approach on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in the flat-sided geometry material at SMP Negeri 1 Stabat. This reasearch is a quantitative reasearch, with the type of experimental research. The population is all class VIII students, totaling 118 people. The sample used by the reasercher is class VIII-1 and class VIII-2 with 30 students each to serve as an experimental class determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques by giving pre-test and post-test to determine students’ ability to think critically mathematically. The data analysis technique in this reaserch is using hypothesis testing. Reseach hypothesis testing using t test. Based on the results of the research and hypothesis testing, the researcher can conclude as follows: (1) There is a significant effect on the t test, namely t count > t table with t count = (7.330) and t table = (1.669). it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the realistics mathematics approach on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in the flat-sided geometry material at SMP Negeri 1 Stabat.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to: To determine the effect of the TAI type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Padang Sidimpuan TP.2021/2022. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi research type experiment. The population is all class VIII students of MTs UMN Al-Washliyah Medan TP.2021/2022, which totals 120 students from 4 classes. While 2 classes were used as samples, namely class VIII-A totaling 30 students and class VIII-B totaling 30. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, testing and documentation. The test instrument used to determine students' mathematical problem solving abilities is an essay test in the form of a post-test. Data analysis was performed by normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using the T-Test. The results of these findings indicate: 1) The ability to solve mathematical problems of students who are taught using the TAI type cooperative learning model is better than students who are taught by conventional learning models. 2) There is an influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Padang Sidimpuan TP.2021/2022 seen from tcount > ttable, namely 3.231 > 1.671. The conclusions of this study explain that there is an influence of the model cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Padang Sidimpuan TP. 2021/2022.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims: 1) To describe efforts to increase the religiosity of students carried out by guidance counseling teachers at MAS Al Asy'ari Medan Krio, 2) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors that the guidance and counseling teachers go through in an effort to foster the religiosity of students at MAS Al Asy'ari Medan Krio. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection carried out in this study includes: 1) Observation, 2) Interview and 3) Documentation. The results of this study are that: 1) Guidance and counseling teachers' efforts to improve the religiosity of students are by providing assistance and advice so that they can overcome all student problems that occur in madrasas. 2) The supporting factors for guidance and counseling teachers in increasing the religiosity of students are internal and external factors. 3) The inhibiting factors for guidance and counseling teachers in increasing the religiosity of students are internal and external factors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of implementing educational communication in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on student achievement at SMA Modal Bangsa Lhokseumawe. This study uses the theory of CMC (Computer Mediated Communication), with the limitation of research being limited to the online learning process which is only carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is quantitative research using statistical analysis. The variables in this study include the application of educational communication in online learning and the application of educational communication in online learning. The total population in this study was 341 students, the determination of the sample used total sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires indirectly (Online). The data analysis technique used is multiple coefficient analysis using the Product Moment correlation coefficient formula, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 25. The results show that the application of educational communication in online learning during the pandemic using CMC theory has an effect and significance on student achievement at SMA Modal Bangsa. This is evidenced by t arithmetic > t table (7.710 > 1.97).]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the application of behavioral counseling with reward and punishment techniques in dealing with violations of the rules on students at Subulussalam Sayurmaincat Kotanopan. The research methodology in this study was PTBK, namely the research was conducted through two cycles. Each cycle I and II consists of four stages, namely: the planning stage, the action/implementation stage, the observation stage, the reflection stage. The subjects of this study were 15 students of Class XI MA Subulussalam Sayurmaincat Kotanopan. The results of this study indicate that the application of behavioral counseling with reward and punishment techniques can handle violations of the rules of conduct for students in Subulussalam Sayur Maincat, Nopan City. Through the application of Behavioral counseling with Reward and Punishment techniques, it is possible to handle students who violate the rules at MA Subulus salam Sayur Maincat Nopan City. Of the 15 students before being given the application of Behavioral counseling with Reward and Punishment techniques in dealing with students who violated the rules in the MA Subulussalam Sayur Maincat Kotanopan school, violations of the rules were still quite high. Furthermore, after being given the application of behavioral counseling with reward techniques in the form of praise and gifts both verbally and non-verbally, also given punishment in the form of memorizing youth oaths, their truant behavior can be reduced and they can be handled properly.]]>
