Abstract

Research was conducted due to the lack of interesting learning media, making students' interest in physics subjects to study physics low and resulting in unsatisfactory student learning outcomes. This research aims to develop android-based learning media using kodular as a learning media to improve student learning outcomes on temperature, expansion and heat material for high school class XI. This research is a Research & Development (R & D) study using the ADDIE model which consists of stages (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this research were students of class XI SMA The results of material expert validity have a percentage of 91.11% with a very valid category and media expert validity has a percentage of 90% with a very valid category. The results of practicality by students in small groups of 87.95% (very practical), medium groups of 85.54% and limited groups of 94.75% (very practical) and in the effectiveness test obtained the results of the gain score of the difference between the pretest and protest scores showed an average in the small group of 0.7707, medium group 0.7777 while in the limited group of 0.8348 in the high category. Based on this information, it is concluded that the android-based student learning media using codular to improve student learning outcomes on temperature, expansion and heat material at SMAN 5 Medan developed by researchers get results that are feasible to use with valid, very practical and effective categories. ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan karena kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik menyebabkan minat siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika untuk mempelajari fisika rendah dan mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan menggunakan kodular sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu, muai dan kalor SMA kelas XI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahapan (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi). Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA. Hasil validitas ahli materi mempunyai persentase sebesar 91,11% dengan kategori sangat valid dan validitas ahli media memiliki persentase sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil praktikalitas siswa pada kelompok kecil sebesar 87,95% (sangat praktis), kelompok sedang sebesar 85,54% dan kelompok terbatas sebesar 94,75% (sangat praktis) dan pada uji keefektifan diperoleh hasil gain score selisih pretest dan skor protes menunjukkan rata-rata pada kelompok kecil sebesar 0,7707, kelompok sedang sebesar 0,7777 sedangkan pada kelompok terbatas sebesar 0,8348 dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan informasi tersebut disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran siswa berbasis android menggunakan codular untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu, muai dan kalor di SMAN 5 Medan yang dikembangkan peneliti mendapatkan hasil yang layak digunakan dengan valid, sangat praktis dan kategori efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the importance of the family environment as the foundation for early childhood education before they are introduced to school and society. The method used is a literature study, with data collected from various sources such as books, journals, and previous research. The study emphasizes that the family is the most influential and perfect educational institution in shaping a child's character, morality, and personality. Family education must go hand in hand with formal education to produce a future generation that is intelligent, moral, and prepared to face complex social life. Therefore, it is crucial for parents to set a good example and act as role models in all aspects of life.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Assembir Edu learning media on the learning outcomes of class IV science class Mis Nurus Salam Deli Tua. This research method is a quantitative research method using a gore pernental (quasi-experimental) research design, in the form of a non-equivalent conventional group design. The sample for this research is all class IV Mis Nurus Salam Deli Tua, totaling 53 students with the experimental class class IV A with a total of 26 students and class IV B as a control class with a total of 27 students. The data collection method in this research was a multiple choice session consisting of 20 data analysis tests which were used statistically through a single test for two independent samples (dependent samples, the results of the study showed that the Zembo El learning media has an effect on the science and science learning outcomes for class IV, Mis Nurus Salam Deli Tua. Descriptively, the average posture score for the control class is 57,04, which is smaller and the average market value for the experimental class is 73,85. Furthermore, the unit hypothesis result is 5,10 > 2,01. with a significant level of 5% or 005 which means Ho is processed and Ha is received. Thus, statistically it can be stated that Amit's learning media has an equally significant effect on increasing the level of science learning skills for class IV science students. Mis Nurus Salam Deli Tua.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented major challenges to the education sector in Indonesia, causing learning to lag behind. In response, the government developed the Independent Curriculum, which began to be implemented at UPT SD Negeri 067690 Medan, replacing the 2013 Curriculum. This research aims to examine teachers' perceptions and barriers to implementing the Independent Curriculum. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data was collected through structured interviews and documentation. The results show that teachers have a positive perception of the Independent Curriculum, but face obstacles such as limited information technology, time management, and variations in students' learning abilities. These obstacles require ongoing training and adequate infrastructure support. In conclusion, although the Merdeka Curriculum is well received, adaptive strategies and support are needed to overcome barriers and ensure successful implementation.

Abstract

This study uses the Problem Based-Learning learning methodology on Linear Program material in class XI SMA Parulian 1 Medan to assess students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study is a classroom action research. This study uses the Problem Based-Learning method to improve students' mathematical linear program problem-solving abilities. This study involved 43 students of class XI AK/AP SMA Parulian 1 Medan. Before the action was taken, students were tested to determine their abilities and levels of difficulty. The results of the first test showed that 40 students (93.02%) from class XI obtained a score of <65% and 3 students (6.98%) obtained a score of ≥65% (TKPM learning completion criteria), with an average score of 9.97. The learning outcomes of TKPM I class XI AK/AP with the Problem Based-Learning model showed that 27 students (62.80%) achieved the classical learning completion date (≥65%), while 16 students (37.20%) did not achieve the TKPM completion date with an average score of 20. After improvements were made from cycle I to cycle II in class XI AK/AP, 38 students (88.37%) achieved the classical learning completion date (≥65%), while 5 students (11.63%) did not achieve the TKPM completion date with an average class score of 25.51. In cycle II, there was an increase in the completion score of the conventional class XI TKPM I learning outcome exam. The results showed that the Problem Based-Learning learning approach of SMA Parulian 1 Medan improved the mathematical problem-solving abilities of Linear Program students.

Abstract

The success rate of performance will be good if work stress can be overcome because work stress is fundamental because it plays a role in reducing the quality and quantity of work. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work stress on performance. This research was conducted at the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of North Sumatra Province with a total sample of 130 employees. Data were obtained from work stress scales and performance, using survey methods, which were processed using simple regression analysis methods. This study uses an adaptation scale, where the scale has been used or examined by previous researchers. However there are aitems that are canceled after an online trial. through google form to 100 subjects. Based on the hypothesis obtained that work stress affects performance at the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of North Sumatra Province this can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 or <0.05.

Abstract

The ability to measure the weight of objects is a skill needed in various fields, such as trade, industry and health. However, various studies mention that many students have difficulty in understanding and solving math problems related to measuring the weight of objects effectively. This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by grade 6 students of UPT SDN 025 JANJI, Doloksanggul in solving mathematics problems measuring the weight of objects. Researchers made questions in the form of measuring the weight of objects and found various student errors in answering each question. The method used in this research is quantitative research, which is a research method that focuses on the collection, analysis, and interpretation of numerical data. Based on the results of research and analysis conducted by researchers on 13 sixth grade students at UPT SDN 025 JANJI above, students often face various errors in solving weight measurement problems, namely (1) errors in reading the problem, (2) understanding information, (3) choosing the right mathematical operation, and (4) performing calculations. These errors can be categorized into several types, such as reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and other errors.

Abstract

Drug abuse at the Intitusi Penerima Wajib Lapor (IPWL) Mercusuar Foundation Pekanbaru City. Group guidance can help adolescents to understand that they are not alone in facing problems and can get support from others who experience the same problems. From the results of survey observations that researchers conducted, it was found that drug abuse was by adolescents aged 17-21 years. This research aims to find out how the implementation of group guidance in developing self-confidence in adolescents who abuse drugs at the Mercusuar Foundation Recipient Institution (IPWL) Pekanbaru City. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive research methods, descriptive methods are research that seeks to describe phenomena that occur in a real, realistic, actual, real way. Data is taken directly from the field through interviews with 2 addiction counselors and 3 drug abuse adolescents. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that group guidance is effective in helping adolescents to overcome drug addiction problems by increasing self-confidence, social support, and strengthening relationships between group members at the Intitusi Penerima Wajib Lapor (IPWL) Mercusuar Foundation Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This research examines the application of the client-centered approach in counseling drug abuse at the Class IIA Pekanbaru Penitentiary. This technique empowers clients to discover their own solutions through methods such as listening, active engagement, reflecting on feelings, and clarification. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to provide an in-depth understanding of the social dynamics surrounding drug abuse.Data was gathered through interviews with three inmates involved in narcotics cases, aged 5 to 8 years. The findings indicate that the client-centered technique is effective, offering personalized attention that meets individual needs and enhancing the likelihood of successful rehabilitation. Moreover, this approach helps inmates gain insight into the causes of their drug abuse and develop strategies to prevent future relapse.

Abstract

Game addiction among Indonesian students are increasing increase and cause impact significant to performance academics, mental health, and interactions social. Research This aiming for explore role Guidance and Counseling (BK) in handle game addiction in students, as well as identify strategies that can applied for reduce problem this. Based on the data obtained from the Padang City Education Office, around 25% of students at the elementary school level school intermediate first and top experience game addiction with duration more from four hours per day, which is related with decline performance academic, disturbance sleep, and improvement anxiety. Research This use approach qualitative with studies literature for analyze the role of BK in give intervention through various strategies, such as counseling. Findings show that interventions involving​ assessment beginning, approach based on motivation, and support social from parents and schools​ can help student overcome game addiction and increase quality life they. Research this also emphasizes importance involvement together between BK, parents, and school in create supportive environment​ change positive on students. It is hoped that the results study This can give outlook for practitioner education in design a more program effective for overcome game addiction among student.
