Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the Influence of Online Game Addiction andLearning Facilities on Student Learning Outcomes in the Economics Subject of Class X atSMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This type of research is a quantitative approach. The population inthis study was 297 students of class X at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. Sampling using theProportionate Random Sampling technique, the sample obtained was 75 students. The resultsof this study indicate that there is an influence of online game addiction ( ) and learningfacilities ( ) on student learning outcomes (Y) in the economics subject of class X at SMAN1 Ranah Pesisir. The significance value for the influence of ( ) and ( ) simultaneously onY is 0.001 <0.05 and the F-count value is 7.573> Ftable 3.124. This shows that there is aninfluence of online game addiction and learning facilities together on student learningoutcomes in the economics subject of class X at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir.

Abstract

Background research shows that the language skills that students must have in order to communicate effectively are to master four skills, namely listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills. The objectives of this research are as follows. First, describe the form and function of prepositions in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Padang. Second, to describe the form and function of conjunctions in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data used in this research are words in the form of prepositions and conjunctions in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Padang. The data source in this research is descriptive text written by class VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang. The instrument of this research is your own research. Assisted with student work sheets, data collection formats and documents. Based on the results of the research and discussion, two things were concluded. First, the form and function of prepositions used in the description text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang were found to be 72. These prepositions included 9 prepositions on, 11 prepositions from, 2 prepositions since, 1 preposition with, 32 prepositions in, 4 prepositions for , 1 preposition would, 4 prepositions like, and 1 preposition by. The most frequently found preposition is the preposition at and the least frequently found prepositions are the prepositions with, will, and by. Second, there were 165 forms and functions of conjunctions used in the description text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Padang. The conjunctions included 70 conjunctions and, 9 conjunctions or, 2 conjunctions but, 3 conjunctions so, 1 conjunction until, 1 conjunction although , 3 conjunctions although, 11 conjunctions because, 15 conjunctions with, 52 conjunctions which.

Abstract

Kato nan ampek is a basis for how to speak to older people, to younger people, to mamak, datuak, in-laws, and in-laws, and also to peers. Not all teenagers in Jorong Balai Satu Nagari Paninjauan speak and behave in accordance with kato nan ampek. This research is a descriptive qualitative study describing the form and categorization of pronouns in the use of kato nan ampek among teenagers in Jorong Balai Satu Nagari Paninjauan. The instruments in this research were writing and recording equipment. The data in this study are pronouns in the use of kato nan ampek. Data were collected using note-taking and recording techniques. The results of this research show that in the use of pronouns in kato nan ampek, many teenagers still use pronouns that are not appropriate to their speech partners and there are still many teenagers who use words that are not in accordance with kato nan ampek. Pronouns that are still often used with older people are first person pronouns, the first person singular pronoun "den", the second person singular pronoun "kau/gau", and the third person singular pronoun "inyo/nyo". The pronouns that are often used with younger people are the first person singular pronoun "den" and the second person singular pronouns "you/gau" and "ang".

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of Minangkabau language interference with Indonesian and the factors that influence the occurrence of interference by fifth grade students at SD Negeri 04 Lubuk Alung. The data in this research is the interference of Minangkabau language with Indonesian. Data collection uses note-taking and recording techniques. By using this technique, the author can collect data that is appropriate to the research. The results of this research show that there are still many students and teachers who make deviations when speaking to their friends or teachers, which is called phonological interference. Interferences found in class V include replacing the consonant phoneme /k/ with /t/, replacing the vowel phoneme /o/ with /a/ or /a/ with /e/ and eliminating the vowel phoneme, namely /a/. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how many language deviations occur in Indonesian during classroom learning.

Abstract

Swearing expressions are a form of language used by society to express negative anger, annoyance or displeasure towards the person or party being addressed. Even though swearing is a negative use of language, many people find it difficult to get rid of the habit of using swear words. The aim of this research is to describe and explain the forms and types of swearing expression in Minangkabau language for public transportation drivers in the city of Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research describing the forms and types of swear nouns in Minangkabau language for public transportation drivers in Padang City. The instruments in this research were writing and recording equipment. The data in this research are words in the Minangkabau language in the form of expressions containing elements of swearing nouns used by public transportation drivers in the city of Padang. Data were collected using note-taking and recording techniques. The data source in this research is the source of verbal abuse from public transportation drivers at the Pasar Raya Terminal in Padang City. The results of this research show that in terms of nouns in swearing expressions, many public transportation drivers in Padang City still use swearing nouns that are not appropriate to their speech partners and there are still many public transportation drivers who speak using swearing expressions. The form of swear noun that is often used is a swear noun in the form of the word kanciang. The type of swear noun that is often used is a swear noun using the animal name dog.

Abstract

This research began with the researcher's observation of the form of politeness in language in Inter-Community Interaction in Kampung Tarandam Gurun Panjang Selatan Village, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The language used by the people of Kampung Tarandam Village is diverse, for example in the use of the word kau/waang, some people use the word and understand that the word is impolite. While some people say that the word kau/waang can be said to be polite if the interlocutor is someone of the same age and the interlocutor is not angry or offended if called kau/waang. The purpose of this study is to describe the form and meaning of politeness in the language of the people of Kampung Tarandam, Gurun Panjang Selatan, Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is qualitative, research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words, spoken words from people and observable behavior. The method used in this study is a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, documentation, listening techniques, recording, taking notes. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the form and meaning of politeness in language in Inter-Community Interaction in Kampung Tarandam Gurun Panjang Selatan Village, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency obey the maxims of wisdom, generosity, sympathy, humility, and agreement. Of the five maxims, wisdom, generosity, sympathy, humility, and agreement, there are two maxims that are predominantly used by the people of Kampung Tarandam Gurun Panjang Selatan Village, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The maxims that are often used are the maxim of wisdom and the maxim of agreement
